Estate Agent, Paul Meakin, have been both helpful and responsive in our dealings with them.
As a first time buyer, my son purchased his property through this agent.
What was particularly impressive, was that any member of the team handling the sale was able to provide updates even if others were out on valuations or on holiday.
As a fellow professional, this was reassuring and engendered confidence in the agent as a whole.

We appointed Paul Meakin to manage the rental of our property over two years ago. They gave us good advice and guided us through the procedures and legal requirements of being Landlords. Allison and Aimee and the rest of the team competently manage every aspect of the rental. They ensure the annual property maintenance inspections are carried out and liaise with our tenants and us if there are any problems. They keep an eye on our house whenever they pass by and carry out regular visual inspections to ensure things are as they should be.

Paul Meakin has been taking care of my little 2 bed appartement in Forestdale since I moved to another country in 2012. They have been brilliant, and I really mean that! They found good tenants, they collect rent and pass it on to me, always on time. If there are repairs to be done, they are done quickly and well by their regular tradesman, all legal necessities are sorted out by them too, if there are ever issues to be dealt with, fair solutions involving all parties are found. I have also had the same person, Allison, working with me for the last 13 years, and so we have a good relationship. We engaged with Paul Meakin around a year ago to sell our property. The team were incredibly friendly, helpful and supportive through a process that was extended due to issues with the probate process. In effect the team sold the property twice, the first occasion being scuppered by unwarranted probate delays. From the first moment we met Emma - at what was a difficult time for us - she was helpful, friendly, honest and realistic. She clearly understands the local market very well and gave us very helpful guidance and useful contacts before we had committed to working with her.
Once signed up, the whole office team in Selsden were on the case. As we were many miles away, the team oversaw the whole sales and viewing process- keeping us effectively briefed throughout via email, WhatsApp and telephone. Once we accepted an offer, the team continued to be there- supporting the buyer as they gathered the information they needed, coordinating with the solicitor overseeing the sale and keeping us briefed on progress. I would strongly recommend Paul Meakin Estate Agents - they did everything we could have asked for and more.

After reviewing factually madeout year later that was if did not end well. No acknowledgement when rent was late was only dealt with when I asked where it was and what penalties available. Claim no dog a property despite dog cage in photos when selling property and lots of dog poo and being told one was. How did Tennant know who property was sold to when never had direct contact with then. Then say act professionally

We sold through Paul Meakin. Having sold property twice before, my experience was that once an offer was accepted, estate agents couldn't care less. Not the case with Paul Meakin who were attentive and proactive from start to finish.

We have nothing but good things to say about Paul Meakin in Selsdon. It was a long process selling our flat but this was due to the market and not Paul Meakin. Sam and Amy in particular who dealt with us during our sale were fantastic. Both were kind, warming and very supportive throughout the process. They were always friendly and there when we needed any help. The biggest thing that impressed me with them both and Paul Meakin was the fact that at no point did we ever feel pressured to do anything for their benefit. They supported on what was best for US at all times and this was huge for us, as this is not always the case with Estate Agents.
I couldn’t recommend Paul Meakin highly enough and their service and understanding has been brilliant.
