Excellent quality, great company.

Even though its a busy time of year, my canvas was received within the estimated time. It's excellent quality and I've just started painting it. Would definitely recommend this company, and am looking forward to making my next purchase.

Ditto on the previous 1 star posters. Isn’t it fascinating that they have time to reply to negative reviews in a timely manner, but not respond to our emails? How many Christmas’s have to be spoiled before you step up and fix the problem? You should be overnighting our gifts and eating the costs. You have time. Make it right.

As stated in our update, some custom orders were delayed because the order volume exceeded our capacity, and we’re truly sorry to everyone whose order went beyond the estimated delivery time.
Please believe us—we’re doing everything we can to make sure every order reaches its recipient as soon as possible. Our production capacity was temporarily limited, which caused an unexpected backlog. Everything is now running normally, and all orders placed for Christmas delivery are on their way.

Do not buy from these people …

Do not buy from these people as they will make excuses about deliveries and delays. I ordered my item on the 2nd of December and it still hasn’t arrived.

They have failed their obligations and going through the process of claiming my money back.

Someone special isn’t getting their present this year because of them.

Awful customer service and still no delivery after over 20 days!!

Like many of the other customers I am still waiting on delivery of my item. In summary; poor experience, no communication, me constantly chasing with little indication of when I will receive my item, unanswered emails….it goes on. I ordered my canvas over 20 days ago and it’s highly unlikely it will be here for Christmas. If I had of know this I would have gone with another company!! It’s now too late to order a replacement, I did indicate the urgency of the order but no accountability or apology. They are quick to take your money and once they have it it’s radio silence! I would not recommend this company!!

I felt compelled to edit my review in response to the below reply from the company. I’d like to reiterate at NO POINT was I informed of a delay to my order. To insist that I was is a complete fabrication of events and only further adds to my frustration with this company. They have commented on my review within two hours, yet are unable to answer my emails which are days old!!

Avoid at all costs!!!

Firstly they lied about how long it would take for delivery. Then they lied about where the parcel was. Then they failed to provide any meaningful tracking, and when I asked for tracking so I could decide what I was going to do for Xmas gifts, they simply ignored it. To make it worse, they then send out a mail saying "we messed up" to all of their customers that were not getting their gifts on time!!! All in all, their communication was appalling and their customer service shockingly bad. I would never order from this comany again and I would never recommend them to friends or family.

3 weeks after order and they still have no idea where my parcel is!!!

Once it became clear that some custom-made orders were going to be delayed, we chose to communicate this openly and directly to affected customers. We felt that being transparent, even so close to Christmas, was the most honest and responsible thing to do rather than leaving people waiting without clear information.

We completely understand that receiving such an update during the holiday period is upsetting, and we truly regret the disappointment this caused. While the situation was difficult, our intention was always to keep customers informed as soon as we had accurate information.

Did not fulfil expectations

Like many have said, I am sure the product is good, after all, I did my due diligence and checked Trust Pilot before ordering.

Alas, I do not know for sure, as it is now 4 weeks since I ordered, it’s almost Christmas and it looks like my daughter is not going to get her Christmas present. “Disappointing” just doesn’t come close to describing this situation.

Their stock answers point to a production problem and that shipping isn’t their responsibility. My main issue was why was I only told about this yesterday? If I had been told 2 weeks ago I could have gone to a competitor and got the present I wanted for my daughter through them.

Their tracking website has not said there were any problems either. So they have given me no chance to save this Christmas present.

Further more, it is a bit rich for them to say that special deliveries are working fine. Why is the ‘production problem’ not affecting those? Something doesn’t add up and this just falls short of what you would expect from an online company these days.

Just like all the other numerous complaints. I order a custom picture for a surprise gift, with a guarantee to be here before Christmas. Paint by canvas thanks for nothing. Your solution give me 35% for next purchase. I want you ask yourself this question would you purchase from a company that took your money and did not provide a guarantee that they promised.

Placed an order on 30th Nov for a…

Placed an order on 30th Nov for a Christmas present. It’s non-customised. I’m still waiting for the delivery and when contacting Customer Services I just get told it still has time to arrive. Not in time for Christmas I think! Really disappointed and reading the reviews, I’m not the only one.

I ordered my painting as a gift

I ordered my painting as a gift , was supposed, as they confirmed , to be shipped on Dec,01 , still haven’t received it , I emailed them and all I get is a link to track the package . I wouldn’t have to contact them if I saw progress on the tracking site ! They have no accountability to the whereabouts of the paintings they send ?
Very disappointed in this company and will now have to contact my bank to get a refund as nothing is being done from the company to find out where the painting is .. oh and I paid the extra insurance on the package

Waited 23 days for my purchase

Have now waited 23 days for my purchase , made on 29th November so don’t expect your gift by Christmas!

Still no sign only emails off customer service advising they are speaking to there shipper ! Clearly he’s not Santa Clause 🤯

Buyer Beware

The response received below from Paint by Canvas , appears very common , go to trust pilot and view the multiple 1 star reviews for orders placed in November ( well before Christmas rush ) all are saying the same and all are experiencing the same response . Clearly the company have shipping problems , but are still pushing Black Friday deals and discounts ? The message below states if you don’t get your gift by Christmas ! This tells me all I need to know , for weeks they have known there was an issue , but have chosen to do nothing ! There responses are simply diverting attention from there obvious problems , I did leave a completely honest negative comment on Face Book where I purchased from , however now I’m mysteriously blocked from thier site ? 🤔

Promises much - delivers little...

Now, from the reviews the product appears to be good (did my due diligence checks on Trust Pilot before committing)... so, I ordered a painting by numbers set for my wife; a custom piece of the whole family. I ordered in on November 29th, thinking a month will be long enough for it to arrive and give to my wife for Christmas. We are now on December 20th and it is still showing as 'in transit'... That is not good enough, I am afraid. I can get items from China shipped within a fortnight that have to go through customs clearance! What the heck is going on? It will be my last purchase from this company (if it ever arrives)...

Shipping Issue to UK.. 20 days and counting

I wish I paid more attention to the one star reviews before ordering.

I cannot comment on the quality of the product as I haven’t received anything yet.

The tracking information doesn’t work accurately and it was shipped 20 days ago but nothing has been received.

If you are based in the UK I would suggest using a UK based company as I have no idea if I will ever receive the product.

Custom products naturally have a longer delivery time than stock items because they’re created from the customer’s own photo and made to order. The delivery timeframe for custom orders is shown clearly on our product page, but we understand it’s still disappointing when something arrives later than hoped — especially for Christmas.

After placing an order on the…

After placing an order on the 29/11/2025 I was led to believe by all information provided this would arrive in time for Christmas. It is now the19/12/2025 and still not arrived. After communication with the seller they still cannot confirm it will be delivered and also added in that due to it being custom made they would not refund. Don’t have too many issues online but this has been up there with the worse so far. Wish I had paid by pay pal now as at least I would have been protected.
This feels like a scam now.
The were still advertising on the 15th of December to order by the 16th for Christmas delivery.
Very bad and false advertising at its finest.

Unfortunately, custom orders can’t be cancelled due to their personalized nature. They are always made to order from the photo the customer provides, so they aren’t eligible for refunds

take the joy away with the delivery ordeal...

I ordered my two canvases in 29th of November. Since then I received a tracking number without tracking information, not mentioning which company, etc. Its after I emailed them already.
The estimated delivery was 12-18th of December. I googled which company delivers with the tracking number start with ZC - it was a dodgy chinese website. First it said the number not valid. After I emailed them, somehow now its exist. Apparently the flight takes 3 days from China to the UK in 2025... Now its no update showing at all.
The websites provides 10-15 days including the pringint process. Qay excited the time...
I will report the the payment as fraud, and get my money back like that way if its not here by beginning of next week. Im done with this company for once and for all. Never again. I was looking forward to do it, now they took away all the joy from the whole experince. I work in costumer service, and honestly this company is the worst.

Perfect and meaningful gift

I painted a picture of my boyfriend’s kids as a gift for him and it turned out amazing. I’m not an artist by any means but it looked like it was done by a professional painter. The process of painting was so peaceful and almost therapeutic. I’m looking forward to doing another one. My boyfriend was in awe of such a thoughtful gesture. It turned out just like the photo I was recreating . I highly recommend this as a gift for someone or just a gift to yourself.
