I registered my company with Ownr in November 2024, and not only was it affordable and easy to do, but the tools within Ownr make filing my annual reports easy, and allows me to update the corporation easily and at an affordable price.

Ownr keeps me up on the compliance issues I need to deal with, and stores my corporate minute books and other corporate documents securely online.

Saves so much time, money, and let's me relax about our corporate documentation. This is not our first go round in terms of building companies, but these AI driven services are a god send in terms giving back time to focus on our business and not legal work, and admin! No offense to lawyers.

The process was incredibly simple, clear and efficient. I completed my Ontario sole proprietorship registration within just a few hours with no complications. Excellent user experience and service from Ownr.

They seemed like a fast efficient company but when something goes wrong there is no customer service. They don’t have an online chat and they don’t have a phone number to contact.
They will reach out via email days later and will send one sentence at a time like. What is your address. Then you get a response a few hours later with what is your business number. They never actually help only annoy you. Please do yourself a favour and look at their customer service rating as it is true. Sign up with a company that has customer service as it is required.

Hell of the things are missed or defaults are horrendous, had i not used Google Ai for advice i would have screwed up my company big time. For expansion of additional business subsidies, for sure i will move away from Ownr. It is ok I guess to slow mo for several month before i move on, but yes, it was a mistake on my part to start with it. Some simple minute book + google AI help totally replaces Ownr. For example, i was able to navigate CRA BN/HST registration completely outside Ownr. I guess everything I could have done with Google Ai help, there is just need to keep minute book. But well... it is only money. Again, for sure, I won't pay second year Ownr and move away to simple minute book keeper.

Ownr has been fantastic. It helped me build my company from the ground up, and the entire process was practical, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend Ownr to any young entrepreneur looking to start their own business.

What can I say they were fast? And efficient, it took less time and less headaches to receive my incorporation. Papers and approval from the government in the pricing was quite reasonable

Mostly an easy experience. I think this would only be worth it if you are registering as a sole proprietor only (if you don’t feel like waiting in line at a registry offer for a lowercost). The yearly renewal fees for incorporating are insane and probably not needed for most people. Better to incorporate with another business that helps you get it going without additional fees. Also the RBC bank account offer is heavily pushed at all times of the process. You need to say no to it many times, even after you already said hot takes at twice before. They also do not disclose that you will need a credit check to open a bank account (which is think is sketchy) we can’t just be giving credit checks out all willy nilly! They never indicate if it is a soft or hard check either.
