I already coach and have previous qualifications but this is next level, and will literally take anyone wishing to go to the next level, either as a self-employed or in-house coach. Its been the greatest investment I've ever made, a truly transformational journey which includes coaching practice from the onset. I've learnt so much about myself and others too, it's been a life-changing experience!
The additional information you'll receive is second to none, and the other people on the course are so like-minded it's like being part of an extended family.

I came across the idea of coaching having dabbed into brand strategy. I thought it would be good to combine the two (I have since gone on to full-time coaching).

I went into Optimus thinking I had an idea of what coaching was and that I would leave with some knowledge of the tools that can be used.

I did training with Optimus back in 2021 and I have felt supported ever since. I finally completed last July due to personal circumstances where I was completely supported by my mentor.
The course is run by those with outstanding experience who are both relational and professional in approach. It is a hugely practical way to qualify, with tons of practise and feedback; exactly how it should be. I am now a fully-fledged coach, accredited by the ICF. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Prior to taking a coaching course that would prepare me for the ICF exam, I researched across the EU. Optimus stood out with a package that exceeded expectations. One year later, after having no coaching experience before, I am coaching in my organization and also coaching clients throughout the EU.

There were three reasons I decided to train with Optimus.

The course is well designed, cover multiple domains with very skilled facilitators. Everyone from key trainers to facilitators to administrators are very helpful. Classes and other requirement went as per the plan.

Ruth is an amazing person. She is a live example of a coach who walks her talk. She is real, down to earth and very caring about people. This was my second Coaching program I had gone through in the last 2 years, but my first ICF accredited. I can honestly say that training with Optimus Coach Academy has been one of the best decisions I've made for my life. I never imagined embarking on the training that I would have learned as much as I have about myself and everyone else for that matter, thanks to Transactional Analysis and Neuroscience. This has shaped how I deal with people and indeed myself. I have met wonderful peer partners who I'm sure will continue to be friends outside of training. The course material is very thorough, the tutors are very knowledgeable and the company cares about Its student and wants to see them flourish. You may look at other providers, but I doubt you'll be able to find a course as comparable and all-encompassing as the L2 Professional Diploma offered by Optimus.

I had been looking at and researching coaching courses and qualifications for years but once I found Optimus, I jumped in as soon as I could.
The breadth and depth of subjects from Positive Psychology to Somatics and Neuroscience really appealed, and my experience with the admin team has been exceptional. I also needed flexibility, so being based online and having alternative days for classes that I could swap to when needed was invaluable.
The community of fellow students was amazing - kind, friendly and supportive which is indicative of the culture of the organisation.
The team of teachers were all impressively knowledgeable and passionate about their subject areas. But the real test of how well we had been taught was at the ACC exam which was far easier than I thought it would be due to the excellent grounding in ethics and ICF competencies that we had throughout the course.
The whole experience was positive, I’ve made great friends and feel fully equipped to coach thanks to the excellent mentoring and feedback.

Very quickly into my conversation with Ruth I knew that Optimus was the company that I was going to choose. Perhaps it was because Ruth used to be in education like myself, but it was more probably because she was so genuine, warm and curious.

The training at Optimus was brilliant, it was varied and thorough.
Ruth and her team are so supportive and friendly. The whole time i knew someone was available should i need them and even since the training the support is still there.

Coaching has been a passion of mine over my 30+ years in the food industry and I have been fortunate to be involved in many organisational coaching (and mentoring) schemes.
In 2021, I decided that I would like to learn how to do this "properly" and look to leave the corporate world, set up my own business, and see if I can help people and have fun at the same time.

I looked at a range of courses and many seemed very "corporate" and, dare I say, more than a little "stiff and starchy"...

I found Optimus, then discovered Ruth Kudzi's podcast, which also gave me a real insight into the style and approach she and her team take in the training, which was a breath of fresh air.
A 15-minute video call with Ruth later, and I took the plunge into what has proven to be a great investment...

The Optimus course is fun, accessible, and follows the ICF principles as it takes the learner on a journey through all different types of coaching (GROW, neuroscience, positive psychology, somatics, to name but a few). This gives you a solid grounding in a wide range of approaches that you can "try on for size", in the many practical sessions.

There were a couple of other aspects that delivered even more than I had hoped - the course is highly interactive and you go on a real journey of self-discovery. I have come out the other side, not only as a certified coach, but with a much better understanding of myself and some friendships that I am certain will last for life.
