Absolutely brilliant experience, I wish I did it sooner. Lots of my colleagues from my last job recommended Optimus, and I’m so glad I did my qualification with them. You get so much support, content, confidence and community. Having had coaching experience prior to the course I wouldn’t say it was a prerequisite. You get mentoring, group mentoring everything you need to set you up for success as a coach. Including tonnes of resources, workbooks, master classes. Honestly the best money I’ve spent on myself!

Absolutely brilliant experience with Optimus. From the start the resources provided both around coaching and setting up a business are fantastic. The trainers are all incredible and really take the time to ensure you understand what’s needed but also to help you as an individual. Highly recommend Optimus as a training provider.

This course was amazing. The material is first class and delivered exceptionally by very high qualoty titors, who are all experienced and successful coaches in their own right. The flexibility to do the evening sessions fitted in well for my business.
The one thimg i wasn't expecting was to fet into coachimg practice right from week one, and this was a really valuable tool throughout the course. I feel much more confident as a coach after completing this course and thoroughly recommend it.

I found the Optimus Coach Academy to be thoroughly professional in every way. The training, supporting materials and tutoring were first class and the support the students received was excellent.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking Coaching certification.

I've absolutely loved completing this course. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I've learnt so much, not only about the spectrum of neurodivergence and the application of coaching, but also about myself. It has definitely challenged my thinking and ways of working. It has also been extremely enjoyable; the trainers provide a safe and non-judgemental space for everyone to interact and learn in ways that support them as individuals. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I've loved it, and importantly feel like a much more competent professional.

If you're interested in coaching , either for your own business or within an organisation, Id I'd highly recommend the Optimus course.
The content is wide ranging, and high quality.
The training is brilliant ( and the trainers are fabulous).
The ongoing support and updates are so valuable. I've not come across another coaching provider that does anything like it (if they provide anything at all).

I would like to say a big thank you to Optimus Coach Academy for this amazing coaching journey.
I learned so much during these months and gained many valuable tools that I can now use with my clients. This course was much more than learning coaching skills. It was also a great investment in my own personal development. Thank you so much for everything! These past few months have been a wonderful experience, and I am very grateful to have been part of it.

I couldn't recommend Optimus, Ruth and the whole Optimus team highly enough. I recently completed the Associate Coach Diploma and the whole course was beyond expectation. The level of detail, guidance and support from Ruth, the coaches and wider team was incredible. They are always on hand to answer any queries and are so dedicated to their craft that it's inspiring to begin my coaching journey with them. The amount of information they provide through their portal, weekly reminders and news updates, interactive training sessions, with so much coaching practice included is brilliant. They say if you want to learn a language, you need immersion. The same can be said for coaching, and at Optimus, that's exactly what you get, weekly coaching practice in an incredibly positive and supportive environment with the best trainers in the country, in what is in my opinion, the best coach academy in the country. The cohorts are a perfect size and I've cultivated friendships with my peers that will no doubt last for years to come. Ruth, Crystal, Donna and Fay have been nothing short of amazing in their delivery and execution of the ICF accredited course work and I'm excited to see what the future brings. I work professionally as a Construction Manager and in terms of a foundation to build from, it doesn't get stronger than Optimus. Thank you to Ruth and the team for their guidance and support over the past five months. I'm looking forward to working with you again in the future and am proud to call myself a member of the Optimus Alumni Community. Mike T

I am delighted to have discovered OCA and to have trained with them on my journey to becoming a professional coach.

From the onboarding experience to the cohort I was part of, every aspect of the programme was exceptional. The quality of the training, learning materials, resources, staff support, online learning portal, communication, and alumni community all exceeded my expectations.

During the programme, I went through several significant life transitions. Throughout that time, I experienced genuine care, understanding, flexibility, and encouragement from the OCA team. Their professionalism, combined with a truly human approach, made a lasting difference and enabled me to complete the programme with confidence.

Thank you, OCA, for such a valuable, enriching, and transformative experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend OCA to anyone looking for a coaching programme that combines academic excellence with authentic care for its students.

I really appreciated the thoughtfulness and attention to detail, from course materials to the dates and times for the course. The availability of the trainers and support staff as well as the flexibility, was excellent. So much knowledge amongst the Optimus team, I found it really inspiring and I am so glad I chose Optimus for completing my ACC diploma. A big thank you from me to all the Optimus Team!

I was part of the March 26 cohort and have just completed my associate course. From the outset I found Optimus, Ruth and the team to be organised, clear and approachable. The course itself is well structured with LOTS of resources available to help you in classes and outwith.
Helpful elements about being on the course include weekly catch ups, individual modules to go to for information; the calendar at the beginning that transfers over to your own so that you don't have to enter every class - including the link to the class... regular updates, the opportunity to pick up peer coaches to practice with...
On completing the course I do not feel untethered and unsupported - I feel part of a community. I am very much looking forward to the conference in November and meeting some of my peers IRL - as well the ongoing sessions that run online.
If you are thinking about training and want a professional, organised, rigorous programme delivered warmly and with support this is the organisation to contact,

I started training with Optimus in February and will finish in October and I cannot recommend this course highly enough. I previously did ILM L5 training but finished feeling like I still didn't know what I was doing or feeling like a competent coach, but on the programme with Optimus I am really learning, really practising a lot and can feel myself evolving into a skilled coach, The course team are all fantastic and very supportive. The learning content has been brilliant, and everyone on the course is committed and great to learn with. It took me a little while to get used to a couple of the teaching methods but I can really see how it's all working, and everyone in our cohort is blooming. The course also assigns peer coaches and Ive been really fortunate to be assigned two awesome peers who I love working with. Ruth and the team are all incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, and committed to providing the best training experience and resources. You really get the sense that they genuinely care and want to be fair and go above and beyond to make it great for trainees. If you are looking for a really in-depth, thorough, practice-based programme from which you'll emerge a fantastic coach, you wont find better than Optimus in my opinion. I'd also highly recommend the ICF approach over the ILM, it feels much more in-depth and transformative, and is more enjoyable as a coach too.

I’ve really enjoyed my time on the Optimus Professional Coaching course and found the whole experience both inspiring and valuable. It has helped me deepen my understanding of coaching, gain clarity on the kind of coach I want to be, and given me the confidence to take my coaching journey forward.

I’ve also been lucky to be part of a fantastic group, which made the experience even more rewarding. It’s been a journey of both professional development and personal growth, and I’m leaving feeling motivated and excited for what comes next.

I am so grateful to Optimus Coach Academy and the PCC coaching programme! The course was wonderful – it helped me bring a shift to my own life that is priceless. This course really boosted my confidence, enabling a shift in my self-belief that supported me in obtaining a dream job where I can now use a coaching approach to support co-workers and clients.

The mentor support throughout the course was fantastic, and it was a lovely group to learn alongside each week. A great experience and a wonderful investment in myself – I’m proud to now be an ICF-trained coach.

The course was absolutely brilliant. I saw excellent support and exceptional organisation for nine months straight, without any drop in quality. You don't see that anywhere nowadays, this should be enough to choose Optimus.
It was also apparent how every single person working for Optimus cares about their students and genuinely loves coaching.
If you are looking for a coaching course for your certification, look no further.

Regardless of what you decide to do with the qualification, the standard of teaching and quality of materials, combined with the support provided is in itself enough to provide you with the most amazing personal development experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Optimus to be the place to do it.

The Professional Diploma at Optimus Coaching Academy was a great mix of solid theory and plenty of real practice, always supported by people from all kinds of backgrounds (many of whom I genuinely hope to stay in touch with).

What stood out most was the balance: structured learning without losing the human, practical, slightly messy reality of coaching. I’m walking away not just with tools, but with real confidence that I can do this work - and actually enjoy it.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a professional, practice-heavy, and very human coaching journey.

Completing my Professional Coach Diploma course with Optimus has been such a meaningful and positive experience. I have felt genuinely supported throughout the journey, not only in my learning but also in my growth and confidence as a coach. The tutors brought so much knowledge, warmth and kindness to the training, creating a space where it felt safe to learn, reflect, ask questions and develop. I have gained so much from the course — practical tools, deeper understanding, confidence in my coaching skills, and a real appreciation for the power of coaching. I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement and generosity shown throughout, and I will carry the learning from Optimus forward into my work with real pride and appreciation. Due to my great experience, I’ve signed up to the Neurodiversity in Coaching Diploma Advanced Certification in October 2026 and can’t wait to be back for more learning

I would highly recommend Optimus Coaching Academy to anyone thinking about coaching or even existing coaches who want to deepen their skills and knowledge. Worth every penny!

Optimus Academy created a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment from the very beginning, which made me feel safe, seen, and heard throughout the experience. That sense of openness and acceptance was also reflected in the student community. In addition, the coaches were highly professional, knowledgeable, and well-versed in a wide range of coaching methodologies. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in exploring the field of life coaching.

I chose Optimus because I needed some flexibility in terms of schedule, but still wanted to have a cohort that I could go on the coaching journey with. I can absolutely recommend them from this perspective. The entire team was really supportive in accommodating my needs, and went go all out to help me complete the course. I have also been able to meet a great group of like-minded peers who were extremely supportive and inspiring throughout the course.
