Optimalbathrooms 

Bathroom fitted 19 February 2024,I want to state first off for anyone like myself who came on here to check them out first , I did that and was impressed by reviews an let the couple of bad reviews go, well that has backfired and I would urge anyone thinking of getting this company to please feel free to contact me and I will show you what I am left with for £3.600 and it is nothing like their instagram or TikTok pictures, it’s a very small bathroom and so bad we have been asked numerous times did we do it ourselves, that tells you it all, had some snags as they call them partially sorted, have tried numerous times to get Andy to rectify the outstanding issues but promises to do so never came. I assume Mr Grant who had bathroom fitted in February had same fitter as myself , because all the other glowing reviews don’t say name I know. So please think long an hard before you go with this company and I have pictures of the state I’m left with for £3,600 , I’m expecting to be told similar to Mr Grant , although I can assure you the pictures of bathroom don’t lie. Update, I have been asked for pictures of the outstanding issues, and someone will be out to sort them . I will update if this happens.

On the 02/07/2024 an electrician came out to fix my bedroom socket and he noticed the socket in the bathroom regarding the electric towel rail was connected to it he refused to reconnect it said it was dangerous so we contacted optimal bathrooms and explained the situation they were very helpful indeed and Andy the company boss came out the following day checked socket in bathroom and said it was safe so he attempted to reconnect it to the socket in the bedroom and discovered the electrician had cut the wire so he took the time to repair it and everything is fine there was no fuss no hassle I would give this company 10/10 every time 100% five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ quality highly recommend them.

Experience with optimal bathrooms was amazing start to finish. Scott and Anton fitted my bathroom to a excellent standard. Had a few minor issues after installation but Andy came out and rectified these. If you are looking for a quality bathroom and a reasonable price this is the company to go to.

Love our new bathroom. Feel more like a hotel than a house. Everything went to plan. We went for the new composite wetwall so did cost significantly more. But the results are amazing.
Every company has jobs where they can’t please everyone. So don’t believe all the negative. Our experience was great.

Got a new bathroom installed last week. Looks amazing. Would recommend. My package cost £4,250 as i added some extra stuff on. I dealt withh an Andrew who explained all my options. They roughly took under 1 week. They did not leave a mess and they young men that fitted the bathroom were very respectful.

I had my bathroom done in Feb and it is still not repaired yet on 20th June. The bath was chipped, the floor in front of the pan was scratched by pulling the pan out to fix the leak in the water supply pipe. The old multiquick drain connector was re-used and was left leaking for many weeks before Andy came and fitted a new one. The shower pipes are on the surface of the wetwall and the holes drilled through the wetwall to secure the pipes were too large and showed outside of the wall fitting. Andy (the boss) eventually turned up many weeks later and stuck 2 chrome covers over them to hide the poor quality workmanship. It is still a poor job. The shower screen had 2 shelves and 1 of them hit the shower pipes so Andy had a new corner shelf made but it is cut to the wrong angle and is a different thickness from the one that did fit under the pipes. The shower screen has never been sealed to the wall trim or bath as there is a 200mm part that doesn't move that should be sealed. The silicone sealant throughout the bathroom is wiped with a tool that skwidges it out to the side and is invisible when they leave the job, but as soon as you get dust on it or wipe it, it all goes ragged on the edge. The sink lies backward so that any water around the taps does not run into the sink. The wet wall is far too open in several places, and this is after I had them remove and refit some. The angle beads around the window have big gaps at the mitres. The fitters did not seal where the bath meets the wall. The flooring is short at the door threshold and the grooved edge has broken off where it has been stood on. The job was done on 5th Feb and many of these items are still not resolved by 20th June. All in all, a pretty shocking job. I have not posted until now because I have foolishly believed all the promises but now I am ready to take this to a small claims court. Most of these things Andy knows about and the sink and silicone have been noticed more recently. If I could give less that 1 star, I would.

What can I say Ian the sales man absolutely terrific guy. Explained everything in plain English. The design turned put fabulous I'm more than pleased and would obviously recommend highly. Very competitive price too

2 weeks now since our new bathroom was fitted. Couldn’t be more delighted with the results. Should have done it years ago but you are always a bit wary of cowboys but no such worry’s here. From the initial visit from alistair, Louise and Andy in the office,and finally fitters extraordinaire Scott and Anton all went smoothly. I have no hesitation in recommending Optimal bathrooms.

Would I recommend this company? 100% NO! And what’s interesting is that I get blocked on Facebook after posting an honest review!
Had 2 bathrooms fitted in the last week of January - 16 weeks later and STILL big issues that I have to constantly chase up, with little acknowledgment from the owner , or workmen failing to show- it appears that once they have your money, they are not interested. Upstairs bathroom has now TWICE leaked through the kitchen ceiling, and the owner is still arguing over the repairs to that. Toilet and radiator also leaking, recess shelves odd sizes/shapes, flooring needed replaced due to large gaps, wrong sealant used on the wetpanels causing water soaking through my adjoining wall … Even minor issues such as no attention to detail for the finishing touches- white silicone over black shelf fittings, then workmen using black biro in an attempt to cover it, chrome fittings when I paid extra for black fittings, when fitting out my en-suite in the bedroom, the workmen laid tools and mastic on my bed covers, and now despite numerous washings I am unable to remove the mastic, the owner with his work boots on standing on my velvet covered bar stools to check the kitchen ceiling leaks …Andy (the owner) is not at all helpful and acts put upon when called to rectify these issues. I could go on and on, however I have kept photos that speak for themselves… happy for anyone to pm me!

Completely got what I paid for, there was no issue with minor changes either I had to ask Ian before the renovation works began.

Turned up as they said they would with van already completely full as it was an upstairs full bathroom refit and a complete refit of the downstairs shower room.

The 2 man team Led by Alex were super organised and especially clean and tidy when it came to tidying up after themselves.

Would 100 % recommend

Fantastic work done couldn't be anymore happier excellent work done a couple of things needed tweeking but was done straight away boys only took 2 days for a complete new bathroom top.to bottom friendly boys cleaned up after themselves all.rubbish was taken away next day well.done I would recommend you to anyone so MY BATHROOM WAS FITTED ON APRIL12 UP TILL.3 WEEKS AGO ALL GOOD 1 OF THE LIGHTS IN BATHROOM HAS STATRED FLICKERING TELEPHONED ANDY LEFT A MESSAGE ASKING HOW TO GET REPLACEMENT AND STILL NO ANSWER NOBODY SEEMS TO HAVE THESE UNITS SICK AND TIRED TRYING TO CONTACT THE MAN GOT THE MONEY NOW DOESN'T GIVE A ***** EVEN RECOMMENDED THEM THAT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN

Can’t fault this company at all tam has done an excellent job and when when we had a little problem he came right out the next day to fix it, great service from start to finish

Can’t fault the whole process! Wife messaged about a quote on a Sunday afternoon and someone out on Monday to provide a quote. When we decided to go for it and paid the deposit it was only 2 weeks until install. Everything arrived on the Friday before work began so the job could start first thing on the Monday. Installation was seamless, Sam worked from half 8 till 4 each day and never stopped! Took 5 days to complete and the difference is unreal! Even when we discovered the wrong shower screen had been delivered this was sorted straight away! Genuinely worth every penny!

Right from the visit to plan my bathroom through to completion Optimal Bathrooms were professional & the job was done with 2 great fitters who took only 2 days for a total rip out & replacement of my Bathroom ... I would recommend this company to anyone ... Well done guys on a 1st class job!

Got my bathroom updated to high standard with an affordable price. Great finish and the guy were quick and efficient in fitting it.

What can I say absolutely delighted with my old tired bathrooms new look. Scott and Anton done a fabulous job, they are very polite and hard working (although taste in music is a bit dubious 😀. ) They cleaned up all the mess when leaving and within half an hour of them leaving somebody came to remove old bathroom suite and rubbish. Would definitely recommend to other people looking to update their bathroom.

My old outdated bathroom, has been transformed. We did have small issue, but Andy dealt with this immediately and all good.
The bath suite shower and cabinets are of good quality. Would highly recommend Optimal Bathrooms.
