Went into the Brisbane mall today to price match a Google mobile phone. Price matched from another genuine retail shop on the gold coast but office works would not honour the price matching. Find that to advertise type of sales and then give this option is absolutely wrong.

Very poor quality customer service.
I had multiple enquires that ended up with closed chat. They asked to wait to check on their hands for an answer and then ask if I’m still in the chat, followed with a closed chat after few seconds, I did not even have the time to type in that chat I closed.
The enquiry was about my order being late of 2 weeks.

Stock availability is inaccurate on website.
Checkout doesn't even process payment - tried several times with different payment methods and cards.
Even called the main number to place the order, but it was still auto-cancelled.
Tried calling individual stores but did not pick up, and when they did, it was just to hang up instantly.

I have been going officework gregory hills from 4 years. But my last visit is 17th september thursday at 2:50 pm. I just went to printout my documents for 2 minutes.but what i see is break my heart.one young mom was printing copies in self checkout.and she has a kids. Kids drop sth like a sim card package on the floor .and staff member talk so rudely unproffessional way to the mom saying “puck it up and put it up byyourself” there is nk please,excuse me, sorry like that words.that young mom got so embarrashed infront of everyone and leff the store in so hurry. I try to read the staff name but she has no Name in her uniform. Look like kind of philipinoes. But she really need to learn some manner and patient. Such a so called staff. Please if anyone reviewing this review please check your cctv for thursday 17th september around 2:50 pm near the cash counter self printout area. If you need any assistance i can come to the officework and show you the staff.

I had a very gd woman try to locate my order but she cld not find it in the system and that was yesterday- today i saw online it cld of been delivered to Brisbane instead of Ferry Meadow NSW but that was with a tracking number that had one more letter in it then the one I gave Ferry Meadow office but if this one is the correct one then it has gone to Brissy but I believe the original one i gave them was correct so I went onto my laptop today to check on it and it still has not been deliverd to this address- I am so upset by this because the lass i spoke to today was very off-putting when i said I guess it is lost and I have lost the money I spent on it - her professional reply was Yes- so of this is not resolved by the Wed the latest by Tues next week and I have no cavas to show for the money i spent i will put this into my friends hands who is a solicitor and let her deal with this-office works can see on their site thst it hasn't been delivered to me yet offered no refund or how to resolve this-so cld someone from office works plsss get back to me and resolve this for me urgently or as I said I will put this into the hands of Salenger and Biddulph solicitors . I dont usually take this route but I have recieved little support re this issue-but when that lass just agreed i would prob lose my money to the loss of this order thst really got to me- Regards. a staff member was so rude, she said yep to call me over, did not acknowledge me, said yep to tell me she's ready for me to pay, and said yep when the payment went through, did not say bye or anything, just pushed my items towards me and started at me with a dead straight face. i didn't get her name but he had a gap tooth and brown hair, worst experience ever.

Visited the Wentworthville store today ! I had a heap of photos I wanted copied and enlarged to A1 size to make wrapping paper for a special family anniversary! A young man Luca served me and completely understood what I wanted ! He was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional! He explained everything and I got the exact result I wanted … I was so happy and wanted to make sure he is recognised as a very valued employee…. Luca is a valued member of your Wentworthville team…..

Order 1832446359 we only received some items, tried to call office works and it takes long queue and disconnected. Sounded like outsourced to overseas CS with poor connections. No way to contact again and lost $120 with no reason and nowhere we can chase it back.

I tried to return Apple AirPods Max that failed after approx. 3.5 years, and the manager of the Trinity Gardens store told me there was nothing he could do for me and made it clear he considered the discussion over without actually listening to what I was saying.

His attitude became openly hostile when I said that I did not believe a $1000 pair of headphones suffering a major failure after 3.5 years would meet the acceptable quality required by Australian consumer law.

After that, he repeatedly dismissed and misrepresented what I was saying. The headphones are practically five years old NOW because I have spent the last year trying to get Officeworks or Apple to provide a remedy. His attitude was not respectful at all, which is disappointing and hypocritical, given staff expect customers to be (and rightfully so). I left angry and humiliated, and out of pocket with a completely unusable $1000 pair of headphones.

If you're buying expensive electronics and expect Officeworks to take its responsibilities under Australian consumer law seriously, my advice is to look elsewhere. I would also avoid this particular store based on the way I was treated.

Officeworks, I hope the way this was handled has been worth it. I have no intention of trusting you with a significant purchase ever again.

If I could give no stars I would. I needed a phone that day so ordered the 2 hour window. It didn’t come so I called customer support and they told me to call the store so I called the store that had an answering machine to say call customer support. I called customer support to say I just needed a refund so I could buy one elsewhere. They wouldn’t do that. I still didn’t have my phone the next day and customer support didn’t care at all. The worst service ever. I had to go across town to an Officeworks that was very far from where I live to pick up the phone in person. No one apologised at all. Nearly a week later I get a reply to my enquiry…just hopeless. NEVER AGAIN

Call Centre in the Phillipines, staff don't give a hoot about customer service.
Had problem with an order for Norton Anti-Virus, Officeworks didn't send the download link. Rang customer service twice in the same day, was promised someone from their IT team would contact me to sort it out.
Pure lies, I think the CS staff decided not to bother passing it on. Has now been days, still no response from anyone at OW.
That's what happens when big Corporates take over the market - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS ANYMORE. We're just grist for their mill, to line their pockets.

Don't use their Trade in Moorup for your old phone. They issue you with gift vouchers so you buy a new phone then drastically reduce the amount they are willing to pay you. Finding anything and everything wrong with your old phone so they don't have to pay. It's a trap. Go elsewhere for your trade in.

Usually happy with small in store purchases but found today getting a new phone their PRICE BEAT guarantee is 99% marketing and 1% substance. Wouldn't match D#ck Smith, Kogan or Big W since while they are online Australian businesses (which is OK according to Officeworks website) they don't match any 'third party' seller listings (which is virtually all listings on any of these websites). Hence Officeworks are only going to level peg with other overpriced retailers like Telstra shops ... not good for bricks and mortar traders in the long run, as fake "price beats" are worse than none.

We purchased an Acer laptop from Officeworks Epping and it needed to be returned for repairs multiple times. The last time it was returned to the store due to the screen no longer working. Officeworks sent the laptop back to the manufacturer who has incorrectly claimed that liquid damage caused the screen to stop working, however they failed to provide any photographic evidence of this damage after multiple repeated requests. We collected the still faulty laptop from Officeworks Epping and have had it looked at by a professional who agrees that there is no evidence of liquid damage to the laptop.
Officeworks Epping is in breach of their obligations under Australian Consumer Law and is hiding behind false findings from a manufacturer who has a documented history of claiming ‘liquid damage’ to avoid legitimate warranty claims.

Spent 54$ for a movie poster frame came to me dented and cracked wood with no screws
I almost put my 70$ worth limted edition iron lung poster in it

I live in a country town and now I have to drive to BUNBURY just to refund it because they do ZERO online refunds

Follow up to my first review and the never to be seen office chair. Chair was ordered June 29th. 19 different delivery dates in total. No message to let me know it had changed. You are required to click the tracking update in the initial email. Messaged their online chat, and that failed miserably. Rang the phone number to cancel 4 times, got the same scripted bs runabout everytime I asked for a refund. Spoke with Consumer Affairs- twice. Contacted the bank for reversal. It took a seriously scripted email based on Consumer Affairs advice, giving them notification and a time limit to refund my money, then also forwarded that email to the managing director with the same deadline to finally get my money back. 6 weeks after my purchase. All calls to cancel go to an overseas call centre. All responses are scripted and patronising to the point they will speak over the top of you in order to read their required response. Will Never, Ever purchase from them again.

I visit Officeworks often and last night i visited Officeworks Marion - i was picking up some printing and there was a bit of a line up but the staff were very good at the line going down, above and beyond, the Young guy that served us was so friendly, apologized for the wait and knew what he was doing, keep up the good work Marion, customers could see last night everyone was running around. Would definitely recommend, my invites looked 100% and the team member who served me was awesome

I see from the other reviews that I am not alone. Should have checked these first. I placed an order on Friday 14/8 and paid for delivery between 1 & 5 same day. Arrived the following Tuesday and was only half of my order, no email no apology etc. Can't find a phone number to ring anyone and their chat service tells me 48 hours before someone gets around to me. So much for any customer service.

#21832022155 order number , I receivedit minus 8 Black heavy duty containers which i needed by the weekend for moving, had to go buy more containers, now have to wait another 24-48 hrs under investigation. I WOULDNEVER USE THERE DELIVERY SERVICE AGAIN, GO to Bunnings and buy directy. -1 star
