Good bed
Shipment came a day earlier, which was nice.
As a back/side sleeper, the mattress has been working well for me this past month. It is just slightly less firm than my needs, but once I lie down for a minute or so the memory foam makes that irrelevant.
The cooling is good, but not exceptional. I live in a particularly poorly air conditioned, ventilated and insulated room, and I have not noticed any strong rise in temperature during sleep. However, I have also noticed that the matress does not maintain lower cold temperatures during sleep for my room circumstance.

We are sorry to hear that it isn't as firm as you wanted and that the cooling features aren't as prominent in your room. As you mentioned, the temperature of your room could be a factor in your mattress feeling soft (warm temperatures soften foam). It can also play a part in the performance of the cooling features of the mattress, such as cooling gel foam. Firmness options
Bought a Novosbed 4 yrs ago and was sent a mattress topper for free. Hoped Octave bed and service would be as good. The only bed option as mid firm and no mattress topper was disappointing. Good delivery, good bed. Ditch the bundle and add the option for a mattress topper to adjust firmness

Based on hours of customer feedback analysis and research on the latest advancements in mattress-making, we found that medium-firm mattresses are suitable for all sleep styles. While our Novosbed mattress came in three firmness options, all Octave mattresses are medium-firm.
Further, Novosbed has previously offered a free Comfort+ adjustment kit to customers during their trial period. However, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue this offering, and our mattress is now sold "as is" with no modification option. We found that our medium-firm mattress supports your body and performs better in terms of factors such as motion isolation and edge support without adding a topper.

Comfortable Mattress
Our purchase experience for the Octave Mirage King mattress was very straightforward. There were no surprises as the mattress was delivered in about 10 days from order and was easy to set up. It took about 3 weeks to get adjusted to the mattress, but it was about the right firmness and we are quite satisfied with it. We based our purchase on independent reviews which were very positive overall.

Good customer service
Me and my wife bought both a single XL mattress for our electric bed. Unfortunately they sleep too hot for us and proceeded to return them. Their policy of one mattress per household was not clear for us when we bought them, otherwise we would not have bought two but only one to try before ordering a second one. The customer service manager was very understanding and made available the return for the second mattress.

It is truly a cooler sleep surface & that is exactly what I was looking for the most. I previously had a very expensive mattress but really noticed how hot it was when I would get up & how much I tended to perspire in the night. This was amazingly better so a higher price isn't always the best answer. It was also very comfortable from the first night - no issues at all. However, I will replace the mattress cover with 2 white fitted cotton sheets as I have noticed it is even cooler than with the mattress cover supplied. It was a very smart purchase - thank you for the good price as well!

This is a very weĺl made mattress
This is a very weĺl made mattress, but I am still finding it too firm after sleeping on it for 6 months. I thought this would be a good match for me. I am a side sleeper and need pressure point relief. I will continue to try and sleep on it for a few more months. Maybe it is because I only weigh 120 lbs.

Delivery done very fast, bought king Horizon, mattress performs as described, has no issues at all. I,m 210 lbs and wife 162, mattress is soft yet suportive, we really like it, waiting for the summer to see the keep you cool claim, we do recommend this product

Absolutely False Claims
My original 14 inch medium firm foam mattress was no longer able to support my weight after five years. Considering it only cost $350.00 I was happy it lasted that long.
I then purchased a $1,500.00 Octave Horizon 14 inch medium firm foam mattress after being assured by customer service that the mattress would support up to 250 pounds.
Nothing could be further from the truth and within a week I was sinking into the mattress 3 or 4 inches causing hip and back pain. First of all it had a very soft quilted top layer which of course made it worse because it can not support the weight and you are already sagging.
The foam layers beneath the quilted top are no way firm enough to support up to 250 pounds so they should not claim that kind of support. It is false and misleading and caused me to waste my time.
When a mattress at a quarter of the cost can hold up for 5 years compared to a new mattress that failed after 5 days there is a problem. I don't know what the actual weight this mattress can support but it is nowhere near 250 pounds.

Matress was delivered promptly. It expanded quickly and after dealing with a minor side dent was ready to be used pretty much within a day.
Almost half a year later it performs very well. Provides excellent support, very comfortable.
