I have many years of experience in using the services of Estate agents and generally they have been very positive. We recently purchased a property through Oakfields, Hastings after a while away from the market and they have certainly taken service to another level.

Oakfields are a dynamic and professional team who are knowledgeable, courteous and highly competent. What particularly impressed me was their speed of response to my enquiries and general manner of composure and calmness during a tricky exchange.

Adam, Scott and David are highly skilled in the diplomatic arena dealing superbly well with both us the purchaser and I’m sure the seller, it is always a fine balancing act in getting it right and they did extraordinary well communicating between both sides.

So a big heartfelt thank you to Adam, Scott and David for smoothing the pathway in facilitating the purchasing of our beautiful new home and ensuring it as stress free as possible. I give an unconditional and genuine recommendation to the Oakfield Team and the excellent service provided, you will not be disappointed if you decide to use their services.

Had a wonderful experience changing the tenancy agreement over to my new partner and my names, big thank you to Larn (of the Hastings branch) who was very helpful and patient with getting it all changed over, will highly recommend this awesome team any day.

I was considering using Oakfield Hastings office for the sale of my seafront property.

I always do a few test phone calls as a buyer and as a seller before making a choice of agent. They failed miserably sadly each time. Never came back to me with the requested information at all, despite promising to do so. Twice I was assured the sales agent would call me back that afternoon - NOTHING. On the final call the person answering the call said she worked in lettings but would pass my message on and I would be called back that day. To be fair to her although she fell at the last hurdle, she was friendly, polite and professional. I complained to her that I had already left two messages with no response. She assured me I would get a call back that afternoon from a sales agent, she then added that if he didn't call me back SHE WOULD. I'M STILL WAITING for someone/anyone to come back to me with the requested information. Needless to say they will not be getting any of my properties to sell now or anytime in the foreseable future.

Zero deposit scheme - the tenants I had were offered this. They gave an address in England but were living abroad and came for a short term contract. I had a problem getting paid for damage. Oakfield gave no support and said they would charge a hefty fee to submit a claim on my behalf. I did the claim myself and got paid out but it was stressful. I will not use them again. Their contract stipulates annual rises in rent too.

Just like to say a Big Thanks to Tony and Sam for all there hard work it has taken a long time to sell because of the current situation we are all in But now we have sold we can go on and live our Dream thanks again I will recommend you to all my friends

If I could give them no star, I would. Rented property from oakfield, felt as if I was being caught. They refused to refund my deposit in full, as the said they were entitled to keep one hundred pounds as end of contract check out. I felt this to be unfair along with other points, and complained to the people how hold the deposits, and they agreed they had acted incorrectly, and refunded the full amount.
