Nylah is the first product that has…changed the way I feel about my hair

Nylah is the first product that has worked for me since my hair started thinning and shedding. I've still got a way to go, but the results have made me feel a lot more confident, and will continue on my journey to good hair growth using these fabulous products. I would also like to add that my eyebrows hae started growing back too; something I suffered with when I was losing my hair. So, thank you so much for giving me this lifeline. The best product yet 👌🏾 also I'm very pleased with the shipping company; always on time, with notifications each month as a reminder. Thank you 😊

I discovered Nylah products on socia media

I discovered Nylah products on social media and have been using them for about 5 months now.
I mostly use the Nourish product as I felt that's what my hair needed at the time.
I love how you can quickly apply the product to your hair and that it disperse quickly. My hair has seen less breakage and is more moisturised.
I love the natural ingredients in the products and so happy to finally find a product that suits my hair.

A great discovery of Nylah's products…

I have just discovered Nylah's products and bought the Superseed Hair Balm which I absolutely love. It's very effective for my 3C-4A hair. It contains great ingredients like jojoba & grapefruit peel oil. Lovely light smell from the grapefruit peel oil (I think) and you don't need to apply too much of the product for the desired effects of soft moisturised hair

Happy customer

My hair journey with Nylah's started when I was browsing Facebook and saw their products, then had a read of the comments.
To be honest, at first I was a bit apprehensive, but then decided that it would be best to give the products a chance to see if they would work for me. Also, I was, at that time, experiencing a bald patch in the middle of my head which was causing me some degree of distress.
My first products were the shampoo, conditioner, leave in creme and hair oil. Shortly after receiving my first order, I decided to purchase the Thrive, Flourish and both day and night tablets.
I can now honestly say that having used these products correctly, by following the instructions, my hair has seen such great improvements, something that had never happened before when using other hair products.
Happily 😊 😊 for me, the bald patches no longer exist, my hair is growing beautifully and has become much thicker.
Finally, I would not hesitate to recommend their products and as long as they remain in business, they've got a genuine and valued customer.

Beware of the Subscription Service

I want to be able to give Nylah's my full support because they are doing lots of great work with expanding product options for natural hair, but whilst Nylah’s products are okay, their customer service is not. I've brought a number of things from them and it's not the products letting them down, it's the customer service.

Responses are consistently slow, there seems to be very little urgency to resolve problems, and communication often feels dismissive rather than solution-focused.

I would especially strongly advise against signing up for their subscription service. I’ve had an ongoing issue with my account where I’m unable to view or amend my orders. Because of this unresolved issue, they sent out and charged me for an order that I did not want.

Despite repeatedly chasing them for support, they still have not fixed my account, offered any meaningful solution, or properly addressed the issue. Instead, their attitude has essentially been: “You can just send it back,” while expecting me to cover the postage costs — even though the issue exists because their system/account access isn’t working correctly.

I also explained that I have a disability, which can make it difficult for me to simply make an unnecessary trip to the post office, but this was met with little understanding or effort to reasonably resolve the situation.

To make matters worse, they continue to ignore my emails. At this point, after being left with no resolution and no support, I will now need to look into raising a case with my credit card company regarding the unauthorised charge.

It is also extremely concerning that this is what can happen once a company has your card details through a subscription service — particularly when customers are then unable to properly manage or amend their own orders due to account issues on the company’s side.

It’s all well and good when things are running smoothly, but when something goes wrong, they don’t seem to possess the customer service or problem-solving skills needed to put things right. Overall, the customer service has been extremely poor and disappointing. It makes me sad to write this, because as I said, I want to be able to give them my full support, but they're not doing their part.

This is an investment

This is an investment. I am a baby faced matured soon 51 year that has gone from hormonal changes to hair and body. Plus life experiences of different hair styles which has added a lot pressure to be my hair line and hair. The products I have used especially the thrive serum I am seeing changes, small but gradual. I need to remember to buy the other serum Florish and work together with my hair. I have hope now!!

Fantastic products which are suitable…

Fantastic products which are suitable for my whole family. The game changer is the knowledge and information shared about how to use the products. Also loved being able to purchase the products according to my particular need - i needed the moisture bundle.

Not good

I've just read the previous email and I feel even worse. Trusting a new brand is a hard thing to do, so placing my order after seeing all the ad's plastered everywhere I went along with it instead of checking these reviews. I place the order and within hours got a message to say that due to a high volume of orders, there'd be a delay. If a company does not have an item in stock it should say that and then perhaps have an option to be notified when it's back in stock. To take the payment and then come with a message is a very bad customer experience. I responded to that email asking when I could expect my item, they've ignored it. I emailed asking for a refund, no response.
As a new small business this is so bad and I wish that I had just stuck with my normal instead of trying to support the small independent business trying to do something positive (or so I thought) I will never order anything again, I will not be recommending, I will actively discourage people to avoid this company at all costs

We’ve carefully reviewed our systems and have not been able to locate any prior emails from you, nor have we been able to match your details to an order at this stage. We respond to all customer enquiries, so this suggests there may be missing information needed for us to assist you.

It’s also possible that your reply was sent to a no-reply address, which would prevent it from reaching our customer service team. If that’s the case, I completely understand how it may have felt like you were being ignored. Could you kindly confirm which email address you contacted so we can look into this properly?

In addition, we clearly display extended lead times on our website and at checkout during periods of high demand. This is to ensure customers can make an informed decision prior to purchase, rather than being misled about availability.

I understand delays can be frustrating. However, actively discouraging others from engaging with the brand, without giving us the opportunity to investigate or resolve the matter, doesn’t reflect the full picture of the service we work hard to deliver.

Terrible customer service!!!

Terrible customer service!!!! I did not receive my order! I reported this and they were so unhelpful! The worst customer service I ever received! They ignoredd emails, took my miney and did not fulfil their own side of the deal. I had to go through my bank to get my money back. I will never ever buy from them again!!

I’ve looked into this for you and can see that you’ve placed five previous orders with us, four of which were delivered successfully with no issues. That’s why I’m especially keen to get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.

At present, we haven’t been able to locate any previous emails from you regarding this. It’s possible your message may have been sent to a no-reply address , which would explain why you didn’t receive a response. Could you kindly confirm which email address you contacted so we can look into this further?

According to the tracking information from Royal Mail, your order was dispatched on 23rd February and was due for delivery on 25th February . While rare, delivery issues can occasionally occur once parcels are with the courier. If we’re not notified via our customer service email or social media channels, we won’t be aware that there’s an issue and therefore unable to step in and resolve it promptly.
I also wanted to let you know that I personally tried to call you at 10:09 this morning to resolve this directly and will be following up with an email as well.

Received delivery, couldnt wait to start using product!

Placed an order 5th Feb & received a notification of a delay. Received my delivery today, 18th Feb by Royal mail. Great choice of courier. It was wonderfully presented in a great little gift box & couldn't wait to start using the product straight away. Smells lush, looking forward to seeing the results. I Will update progess! Thank you

My favourite hair products

I have been using Nylahs Natural since December 2024 and love the way my hair looks and feels now. The products smell wonderful. I recently bought the sleep set and I am pleased with the difference it has made to my hair in the mornings. Thank you for bringing your products to the black hair market. They are my favourite.

I am very disappointed that I have had…

I am very disappointed that I have had to write this review, but I want others to be aware of my experience.
Over several months, I sent numerous emails raising concerns about my hair while using the company’s products. Despite using the full range, nothing worked for me. I also asked for advice, including support in speaking to a trichologist, but received no meaningful response.
I strongly believe in supporting Black-owned businesses, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this has been the worst customer service experience I have had, due to the lack of communication and concern for customer wellbeing.
I hope this review encourages the business to take customer concerns more seriously and respond appropriately when hair-related issues are raised.

Suits my locs and leaves them feeling soft

Like other reviews, i discovered Nylah Naturals from Dragon's Den. I chose Nylah Naturals as I want to support black business. I find their products care for my hair and smell beautiful. After a couple of teething problems (incorrect product and lost prpduct) in the beginning, I did try another company however quickly returned to Nylah Naturals. To be fair to the company they resolved each of my issues satisfactorily which is a credit to their customer services depth. I would recommend to others

None responsive customer…

Poor and none responsive customer service.

I informed them the bottle was faulty and was happy with the quick response offering a replacement pump. I emailed again but no reply, I waited nearly 3 weeks and it finally arrived. It was over Christmas/new year so I can give some grace for holidays etc.

But they sent the wrong pump and I have no response to multiple emails asking for the correct replacement... Maybe they're reply to a poor review, I hope.

It's a shame I got a 3 month subscription. Once that's done I will be cancelling.

For my grandchildren’s hair and health

Many years ago I wrote an article for my union, as I was Equality, Diversity and Inclusion rep, on black peoples hair and how it was being politicalised. During my research I discovered what toxic chemicals are present in some products for use on black hair.
These included carcinogens- cancer forming. I thought as a black scientist, my grandchildren deserved better, the best in life, including hair products. I made enquiries and came across, Nyelasnaturals hair products. I buy the bundle and have it delivered to my son, his wife and our grandchildren’s home for their use. The entire family love this product, especially my teenage granddaughter. Thank you so much. May your legacy continue to thrive.
