Fantastic movers and very reliable!
We moved our items to my new apartment. The movers were very sensitive to our belongings. They were kind, thoughtful and very attentive to their work.

They came exactly when we needed them to come as per schedule.
We all were impressed. And we will use them again.

From scheduling to moving day, everything was great. Khoren and the team were fantastic - efficient, professional, and careful. Great Movers came highly recommended to me by several friends, and I can see why. I hope to not have to move again for a long, long time, but I would hire them again!

Suddenly my job was relocated to NYC, and I had to move in two days. I called them and told them my urgency. The next day, they sent three gentlemen to my apartment early in the morning. They were polite, friendly, professional, and hardworking. The move was completed within two and half an hour. I really appreciate their effort and recommending them to anyone.

John and his guys did an amazing job and were fast and efficient. Definitely will be recommending it to my friends.

What a great experience! NYC Great Movers Company made my moving experience actually easy which is saying a lot! I especially enjoyed working with Danny. He was not only very friendly, but he was very generous with his time. He was thorough and made sure that all of my concerns were addressed.

My recent review on YELP got taken down for public. This is a scam company using unprofessional movers and in honest review for their poor services，charging for high fees hourly ,but not giving you the same service they charging you for. They broke and damaged my entrance door bars and currently disappeared with no response back from my follow up. My first review last month about the experience was purposely removed from yelp. After that, they stop responding again. They pretend to be responsible after several calls with me ONLY care about asking me to first remove the reviews!!!! After I refuse to do so, somehow they made my first review unseen. So this is an trustworthy company. Not reliable when it comes to damages are done because their unprofessional workers. My 800 dollar marble table was broke into pieces, they didn't care to refund any money. I am wondering how many ppl here trusted their review but went through same situation like me. Their 5 star review totally not telling the true story. Their movers threatened me for big tips ( see the photo of quick pay ) and also not willing to start the move when they showed up late already !!!!!! Threatened me that my elevator was reserved for limitied hours, if I don't give them the tip, my move will not be done. Complaining I have to many stuff?????!!!!! This is a hourly service not flat rate !!!!!!!!!! But I had no choice paid $610 just for the tip, and not including the services charge was above $2700!!!!!!!! Also they damage they did to the building is going to be over $1000-$2000 to replace the door bar!!!!!! So you do the calculation if this is a worth to hire them for all these headaches and Finacial doubles you are going to experience. I felt went to hell and being robbed by bunch of scam makers and thieves. Pls read and stop consider trusting their reviews.

NYC Great Movers was the best moving company! I found their review online and attracted me to make the decision! The customer care rep was very patient with all my questions and answered everything with ease. Movers came on time, were polite, kind, and professional.

Hardworking, efficient and capable of doing tasks perfectly. The moving went on smooth with their help. Their service is great, anyone can try them without hesitation.

The guys from the Great Movers were awesome. We have a lot of solid oak furniture, and they took good care of it. They reassembled and placed everything where I wanted it without a scratch on my floor or the furniture.

John, Tim, and Kamol helped us out today with our quick move. They were really great in their job and highly qualified. I HIGHLY recommend NYC Great Movers for any of your moving needs.

I am giving this service 1 star because, i was ripped off extra money from them.
I saw many 5 star reviews about asked them to move me.
Now i know for sure, all those reviews down there are PAID REVIEWS,
don't go for them, there are so many good movers out there.

The movers were on time and professional, the best experienced movers I had the pleasure to work with and most of all the price was reasonable no complaints on my end.... I would recommend this company again

We hired these guys after getting back dozens of quotes from other companies. Other movers that we contacted weren't able to unmount our TV or disassemble/reassemble our sofa but these guys said they could definitely do it all with the same hourly price.

The move was phenomenal, all of the staff and the work they did was really impressive. Moving is incredibly stressful but these movers were extremely professional, but more importantly, calm, quiet, careful, and friendly. Everyone handled our belongings with great care: They took our couch apart, un-mounted our TV, wrapped up our fragile stuff, and they did it all without us needing to ask them anything at all. They had zero issues navigating our dark, extremely narrow staircases (we moved out of a 4th floor walk-up), despite carrying intensely heavy boxes and bags, as well as our couches and TV. Nothing was lost or damaged. Those guys were incredible. They also showed up early and best of all, you won't find a better deal price-wise. Compared to flat rate movers, who would've easily doubled our moving costs, these guys were fairly priced and even got done about one hour early! Total gems.

If I ever need to move within NYC again, I will choose Great Movers every single time, without question.

If you are looking for nothing but perfect, go with Great Movers. If there was an option of 10 stars, I would have gone for it. They were speedy and efficient, all synced up! The team leader was such a nice guy, polite and powerful people!

Very fast movers. And cheap! Mostly polite. At one point I asked a man to move a piece of furniture to a different corner and he muttered something quiet. (Maybe the B word). I would use them all over again just to save all the money I saved! Just bubble wrap everything fragile because they don't pay attention to the fragile on the boxes.

The guys were on-time, friendly and quick. And they were accurate with their quote. We went a little over time but that was due to the distance of my move and I anticipated it since I make the drive regularly.
They were really quick to get me a quote and very responsive when I emailed.
I'd recommend them.

Great Movers was amazing. We were moving from a studio to a 1 bedroom. Although they showed up about 15 minutes late, it was due to traffic which was expected in NYC and I received a courtesy call informing me that they will be a bit late. Once they got there, they assessed the room and got straight to work, wrapping items, taping items, and moving everything carefully. They even disassembled the bed and reassembled it for us! Once they got to the new apartment, they asked where each item should be placed and they were incredibly careful not to damage the new flooring. Overall, incredibly satisfied and will be using them again for future moves and will come highly recommended to friends.
