As before the website is horrendous. However got through by phone to ask foe withdrawal. The process was convoluted the the operatives helpful. One more bond to mature and I’m dreading it

My experience
Easy access to app, simple processes to add or withdraw money. Only a couple of days to receive cash in bank account.
Obviously it is not for everyone but I like the chance to win.

Slow transfer and poor rates
The online banking portal is well designed and simple to use, and resists the temptations of other banks to bombard a user with products that are of no interest.
BUT making transactions like transferring money out of NS&I is incredibly slow. Mo why disappears from your account instantly but takes days to appear in your named transfer account.
AND premium bonds have a TERRIBLE returns rate. Yes it’s a safe home for money but so is a shoe box under the floorboards but the later at-least gives you a pair of shoes.
