Absolute joke survey site

Absolute joke survey site, like many others I have had the same problems, being screened out of numerous surveys, not getting paid for ones I have completed. No point in contacting them, even though on many of the posts on here, they state to contact them, and 'we would like to help'. They DO not help, and you will not get paid for these, so don't waste your time, contacting them!

Riktiga skojare

Riktiga skojare! Deltog i ett produkttest av nikotinpåsar och gjorde min del, däremot fick jag aldrig något presentkort som utlovat. Svarar ej på mejl. Riktigt oseriöst och blev blåst på 1000kr 👎

It's a scam

It's a scam. I've completed 3 surveys, and each time they give a "you've been screened out of this survey" and don't pay. This is after the survey has been completed, or after a lot of information has been provided and time spent on it.

Don't waste your time. Prolific pays more, and is actually trustworthy.

Be warned, you may end up doing long surveys for free

Signed up and did some fairly long surveys with lots of questions, only to be told right at the end that I didn't qualify. Basically did the surveys for free, so be warned.

Too many screen fails

It's Ok but there are better survey sites out there. Biggest frustration is answering questions for say 5 minutes (for a 20 minute survey) and then getting screened out after they have obtained a lot of data for free.....unacceptable. I had this experience this am but it is sadly quite common

** Update ** not getting any better. The screening process is an absolute shambles. The latest was asking 6-7 questions before getting to the 1 that would rule out the vast majority of users....."in your job do you work with people who have XXX medical condition". This clearly should have been the very first question.....all this for a potential "reward" of £0.65 !!

Not the same anymore

panelbase was very good long time ago , i decided to come back after few years but 80% of the surveys i have been invited i been screened out , yes i completed my full profile, yes i sent a message to the support team , but still very poor . i think i am going to give it up.

my experience so far

I’ve been on Panelbase for 3-4 months now and I’ve currently got £63 in my account. I do every panel I’m invited to and I’d say I get screened out of 60% of them, which isn’t to bad and you find out within a minute if you’re applicable or not.
I had an issue where I was kicked out of a panel after spending 40 mins completing and they credited my account after I contacted them.

There are a few things I would say would massively help the experience - it’s a little pointless to have to fill in your information on your profile to then have to fill it in twice during a survey. I understand they may need specifics but having to select my gender and pay etc 3 times seems pretty silly.
I also find some of the ‘durations’ to be totally off. I understand sometimes it’s going to take longer to complete if you’re giving detailed answers but for example yesterday I took part in a survey which was listed as an 8 minute survey and actually took nearly 20, which wasn’t worth the 0.80p provided, should’ve been double.

Also, this is just personal preference but it would be cool to have a minimum and maximum payout depending on how much information you provide them with. Sometimes I’m giving super lengthy responses to questions and I get paid the same if I ‘N/A’d’ everything.

Ideally this would be a 4.5 stars but you can’t do that on TP!

Scam

Scam. They get you to try to the survey and then say you dont quality after you've answered about 10-20 questions so lots of free data with no reward for the person taking it. AVOID.

Brilliant

I've been doing Panelbase a good few years now and my total earnings have been £702. I get to withdraw 2 or 3 times a year. It's pretty good just for doing surveys and product tests. The product tests are good fun and there have been community surveys where you get to earn money and vouchers. I did one last month and got a £60 amazon voucher. Payouts are quick and stress free

I took part in market research 8 working days ago. I haven't received payment and the status of my market research is still pending. I have sent emails and messages and no one replies. It isn't fair to ask people to take part and not pay them

Not impressed

I have just been accepted by panelbase and was excited to be a member. So far I've been sent about 10 surveys and I've only been a member about three days !
So far I've also been "screened out" of every single one of those surveys so it's not really a survey site I can recommend so far.
I've completed the WHOLE of the profile section so goodness knows why I'm being sent surveys that are no good.
Not a great start really for a site that came recommended .

TOO MUCH SCREENING

Yet again 10 minutes into interview - screened out.
This happens constantly.
As a ' reward' entered into a prize drawer I'll never win.
The only panel that takes you so far into surveys then screens out - without the promised reward.
They also apply quota fails or quality fails(there was nothing wrong quality wise. I take these surveys very seriously) AFTER completing and before payment.
Sad really because the surveys can be varied and interesting but the time spent navigating screening AND refusal to pay after completion just doesn't make it worthwhile.
I'd avoid these.
There are better sites who honour payment and frankly actually seem to care about decent recompense for panel members.
** April update.
I've just checked my account for cleared rewards.
I'm absolutely shocked.
Out of 5 completed surveys - that is ones I completed FULLY and expected a reward:
3 marked as QF(Quota fail)
1 marked as DNQ( Did not qualify)
1 completed and paid.
Thank you for your offer to look at this but there's little point.
You are not going to rectify the issue which is that you can decide not to pay on the basis the quota is full at any time.
It's not acceptable to punish the panel member because you cannot control quotas. You should honour the payment. It isnt the panel members fault. I actually find this shocking.
The plus point of Panelbase is the variety of studies.
The downsides sadly are many. Some of which I've included in the early part of this review. Not honouring payments is the last straw.
I hope you take on the constructive criticism.
I will try again at a later date in the hope the massive issues are resolved.
