I was scammed for £5000, it was gone. Police Scotland failed to investigate, said it was a civil matter, not a criminal matter. My bank washed there hands of it and wouldn’t refund it. In stepped Mr Beach from National fraud helpline, he prepared a case to my bank and I was refunded nearly £3000 less there fee. I was delighted as I had thought I wouldn’t see a penny. At least I got something back. I would definitely recommend them. It was a complex case but they were very meticulous in preparing things in great detail. Thank you, national fraud helpline.

After losing a good amount of money to a fraudulent 'company'
I decided to contact the national fraud helpline. The first person that I came into contact with was Skye. She was very helpful and reassuring with a difficult case.

I dealt with Charlie after I was a victim of a crypto scam and lost around 24k. After speaking to the banks myself to try get some of my money back unsuccessfully I contacted NFH. Charlie was so professional, understanding and helpful and kept me updated throughout the whole process and managed to get some of my money back for me. I cannot recommend her enough. She took all of the stress out of a very distressing situation.

Earlier this year, I lost nearly £2000 to a tradesman for a new boiler and phoned NFH. Adam was easy to talk to & gave me very helpful advice. The tradesman eventually gave me a full refund before the claim went to the bank. I'm sure that Adam's advice & the presence of a law firm ensured my refund, but I also think their help would have been invaluable if the claim had been filed. Adam and the other adviors that I spoke to were friendly, polite & always helpful. It made a difficult situation much easier to deal with. I would definitely recommend them!

Very professional

I had lost £15,000 in an online employment fraud in May 2025 and pretty much resigned myself as money lost as the bank (will not mention names) after their investigation told me they could not recall the money as it was paid abroad.
Weeks later I came across National Fraud Line and contacted them. A very professional and good listener in Leo McGowan, gathered all the information including the exchange made on both WhatsApp and Telegram. He then contacted the Bank representing me. He kept me updated with any news. Later the bank rejected the claim and Leo went back to clarify that their reason was based on wrong facts.
Yesterday, Leo calls me with the good news and whats more, the full amount was deposited back. National Fraud Line was paid after invoicing.
I would recommend whole heartedly National Fraud Line as they are good at what they do and no promises made with no pressure whatsoever. Felt relaxed through the whole experience.

They helped me during a difficult time after I was scammed for nearly £10,000 they did all the legal side I just provided dates and email and the rest was absolutely fantastic how they got my bank to reimburse my account. I have been scammed by a company called Xtrademax and I realised that I am not going to get any money back from my investment in this company. When I was looking for options to recover my investment I came across this company (National fraud help line). I contacted them and the person I got in touch with is Lena. I contacted National Fraud Helpline and spoke to Leo explained my Scam to him straight away they could help, I passed all the information to him, within a couple of weeks they had a successful conclusion. I have had the money in my account today many thanks for your help.
