I ordered several tests from Tap Score / SimpleLab, and I was thoroughly impressed. The kits are easy to use, shipping was fast, and the results were comprehensive. The best part of the experience is the customer service, though. I got in touch with the folks at SimpleLab through the online chat feature a few times with tons of questions, and they were always very responsive, friendly, knowledgable, and willing to help. Robin and Kelly are awesome!

I was very alarmed and concerned when I got my results and needed them explained to me in more laymen’s terms. I was connected right away with Robin through the chat who broke everything down for me and answered every question that I had. I felt much better after I spoke with her and she was very reassuring. I would suggest that when someone gets their results that there is a summary (in simpler terms) and what intervention needs to be taken, if any. It can cause a lot of panic and anxiety and if you don’t know how to make heads or tails of your results and see a lot of alarming numbers / unfamiliar chemicals in your water. Overall, it was a good testing system and I would recommend it to others.

In September we used Simple Lab to test our well water to see if it contained chemicals related to Parkinson's disease The results of the test were incredibly comprehensive and the explanation of the hazards for each contaminant were detailed, specific and useful. They discovered a contaminant that needed to be treated for our health aside from my original concerns and informed us about how to do so. The process of testing was easily done with helpful instructions and my follow up questions were answered swiftly and specifically. I highly recommend them.

Easy collection and return with clear results. My daughter did a urine test which showed high levels of Tungsten and Uranium so I am trying to find the source. Our Uranium level at the main kitchen faucet seems to be in "legal" range so more research to be done, but this is super helpful.

Drinking Water Testing is literally the most important easy test you can perform. We cannot test the quality and safety of our food in the same way we can test the water we drink everyday to stay alive. We are our 70's and have lived on farms and drunk primarily well water we thought was good tasting for over 50 years. Our current farm is in SoCal and the water districts in the LA basin 2 hours away have been quietly cloud seeding the last two years to increase rain due to drought conditions in many areas, but that activity has caused rainfall to double for us at higher elevations which has caused ponding on adjacent properties and our well water to become polluted with sediment and Coliform and Ecoli bacteria. As soon as we saw the sediment, we tested our well water with our usual testing lab and even had our well pump guy test it as well and were not satisfied that the results were complete and comprehensive. While trying to solve the well water problem, we were forced to go on bottled water for months and as we checked out every aspect of our well, one scientist referred us to Tap Source water testing operating as Simple Lab as the best testing lab in the country.
We tested our well water with Simple Lab and they tested for and found pollutants that we have never tested for before. This forced us to tap into the local water district main line located in the area. Then, we separated the barn and livestock well water line from our home service line and installed a whole house filter system and tested that "city water" both unfiltered and filtered to make sure our whole house filter was working as advertised. Those two Simple Lab tests confirmed that the WHF was working well for filtering out the water treatment chemicals but not some of the more toxic organic chemicals in all groundwater. Simple Lab (particularly Kelly in customer care) helped us identify and work out resolutions for everything that the WHF was not filtering out, in two detailed email responses which were received by us within 24 hours of our reaching out to Kelly. Great company and service. I will never go back to the "hit and miss" labs we have used in the past. Blessings, John

MyTap Score experience was excellent. They were one of the few labs which could provide testing of 13 PFOS/PFAS forever chemicals and included in the test report the potential dangers of the these forever chemicals and the best recommendations on how these chemicals can be removed from city water sources. I have already recommended this test to my family and friends because of my belief that these chemicals are truly a harm to humans when consumed through drinking water and potentially through the absorption human skin.

SimpleLab is phenomenal! Their testing process is easy to understand and results were available in a timely manner. The results dashboard was extremely impressive in detailing each individual contaminant and comparing it to levels deemed satisfactory by multiple government guidelines/health goals. This helps put into perspective the severity of your water contamination. I highly recommend this company to any consumer, as I also discovered they provide more comprehensive testing options than what can be performed by other labs.

So as a former environmental engineer one thing should be understood with any laboratory data. There is variability. When working a particularly complex site all of the samples would be split between two labs to insure confirmation for any future litigation. At times there would be differences that would be reconciled with further analysis. Your water well sample is a snapshot in time. If there is an out of range contaminant additional testing is required before developing a treatment system. I have found that the data provided by tapscore is reliable. While one does wish to be economical getting a second test for the monthly cost of your cable/internet service makes sense. We are after all talking about your drinking water.

Simple process. Prompt delivery of kit and updates as to timing on results (some test’s evaluation timelines are longer than others) and notification of when test results are published.

We live in an old logging town in a rural area where most of the homes are old and the infrastructure isn’t great. Testing our water gave me a lot of peace of mind that our pipes aren’t leaching anything harmful. This test cost about the same as it would have cost me to test it through the county, but it was more comprehensive and more convenient (because I live somewhere rural I am an hour and a half from where I would have had to drop off my sample to the county, mailing it in was much simpler). Collecting the sample was simple and the results were returned within the advertised window. I will definitely use this service again when we move next.

As human beings on this planet, and water being the most pivotal resource we have, I’m constantly surprised about how little attention is put on water quality.
Human beings seem to just accept blindly what they’re told by their water regulatory agencies around the planet. One of my favorite reoccurring experiences is when I visit a friend in another town or city, and 95% of the time they’re drinking the tapwater, claiming that it is one of the “best waters in the country”, with of course, no efficacious evidence to support their claims.
For those of you who are thinking, oh well, that’s another country that won’t happen to us here in the United States. Think again. I went to visit my aunt in kerrsville Texas this year, and her water was noticeably foul, straight from the tap, we tested it with tap score, and the results were worse than Costa Rica.
I was visiting my aunt at the time, because my uncle was in his last few days of his life, dying from bone cancer. Shockingly, one of the heavy metals found in her tapwater, contributes To the development of bone cancer.
As global citizens on this planet, no matter what country you reside, you need to demand that clean water is being provided to you and your homes. The starting place to determine whether or not you are receiving clean water is to scientifically analyze your water. Don’t trust what your water company or government is telling you. Test yourself. I ordered and received the kit quickly and even got results back a day sooner than they estimated! The results ratings and explanations were easy to understand and each line had information on what kind of water treatment system would take care of that particular item. Very helpful.
I also reached out for some clarification and Robin was quick to respond and gave detailed explaination and comparisons to help understand the results and options going forward.
Will be using them again in the future to monitor the quality of our water, especially after we put in a treatment system to make sure that system does what we need it to do.
