They get 1 star because I can't give 0…

They get 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. We got delivered our sofa on September 2025 and right away sofa cushing start sinking and we called them, a service rep come and told "production issues and weed to replace foam cushings". This was on November 2025 and according to them we should receive the cushings foams December. I called them every single month since December and they say the same "in end of the month they arrive" but now we are in April and still nothing arrived. Stay away from this "scammers" and spend your money somewhere else.

Unreliable Delivery and Customer Service

Was told a delivery date that wasn't even possible to begin with. (When I ordered March 26th, it said it would be delivered March 29th, when I talked to the agent, I was told the delivery team doesn't even work on Sundays.)

I asked the agent for shipping confirmation and all that was sent was a copy of my receipt. Not a single section of the delivery date. I was told April 2nd, then got an email two days ago, the delivery would be April 1st, only to be sent another email that it would be April 2nd, 10:30-2:50 and just minutes ago, the update was moved to 530-730PM. I have now had to cancel three plans because of this. One was a train trip. I cannot risk not being here for the delivery. This is absolutely unfathomable how it's affecting my life so dramatically.

I am not even getting the mattress topper at the same time! That is coming, apparently, on April 6th, but I am going to assume that date is incorrect as well.

I would ultimately cancel it, but that would mean further interacting with Bob's Discount Furniture. This is the first and last time I ever do business at this company.

Beautiful furniture at a great price!

This place is so great, I don’t even think of going anywhere else. They have great furniture and the prices are so reasonable! I’ve referred my friends to Bob’s Discount Furniture and they bought a beautiful couch for their living room. I’m back for the 3rd time and I’m so in love with the chairs I bought to go with my couch ( bought at Bobs) . I won’t shop anywhere else! Also the staff are so so nice, they treat you like family. Thanks Bob’s for being such a great furniture store!!

Welcoming shopping experience

James saved the day!!!

I would have given a five if the following didn't happen.
When I walked in the store there were two sales people (women) sitting in the middle area where they sit waiting on customers to come in. Neither of them greeted me or asked if I needed help. To make sure they saw me I walked in their direction and still nothing. They watched me walk around indecisive and a little confused. I started to leave but James Wong came out of nowhere, greeted me and asked if I needed help, that made me stay and make my purchase. James was very helpful, he answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable about my purchase. I left a Happy Customer. Thank you James

Very happy 😊

We recently purchased a full living room set from Bob’s Furniture—end tables, lamps, a couch with a chaise lounge, an ottoman, the whole package—and we absolutely love it. The quality, comfort, and style exceeded our expectations.

Our sales associate, Erin, made the entire experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. What we appreciated most was that she never pressured us. She took her time, answered every question we had, and made sure we felt confident in our choices. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with such a relaxed, friendly approach.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with both our purchase and the service. Highly recommend Bob’s, and especially Erin, for anyone shopping for new furniture for their home.

Rude Customer Service

The original salesman said if the furniture came in early, we could get it earlier than the anticipated delivery date. I called Customer Service regarding delivery and the man on the phone was so rude and sarcastic, explaining the delivery was "locked". I asked to speak with the salesman and was told, with an attitude, "I don't even know if he's here". Completely inappropriate Customer Service.

Andrew & Carlos Went Above and Beyond — This Is What Great Service Looks Like

Shoutout to Andrew and Carlos for an outstanding delivery experience in Brooklyn! These two guys were absolutely amazing from start to finish.

The delivery did not include carrying the couch up to the third floor, and they did it anyway, without hesitation, without complaint, just with a smile. That kind of effort is rare, and it honestly made my day.

That is the type of service that turns a one-time customer into a loyal one. Big thanks to both of them. If you get Andrew and Carlos on your delivery, consider yourself lucky!

Never ever order furniture from Bob's…

Never ever order furniture from Bob's Furniture ! They delivered broken furniture and I had to wait almost a week for it to be exchanged and was set for tomorrow am. I just got a notice they are delivering it now tomorrow afternoon and there is "nothing that can be done" . So.now I have to rearrange my entire day!! Never again!

Damage to Corner of Table…

The table was damaged in one corner and we contacted an agent who said they would reach out by text regarding the damage and we never received a text or call regarding our damaged table.

Forget about customer service

I have no problem with the product or delivery, but the customer service is a bad joke. It took me four phone calls and a chat line to get my receipt and any info on their warranty. Sales never explained the warranty with the goof-proof feature, but implied that it was a 5-year warranty covering everything. I finally got a receipt from the chat line, plus a link to the warranty. I would caution anyone to make sure they get this info at the store. You may not even be able to understand the people in customer service.

Mark was a great salesperson

Mark was a great salesperson and helped us with our spare bedroom mattress purchase. No pressure sales and it was a very relaxing experience. The store was extremely clean and organized well.

DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH BOB’S

DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH BOB’S, UNLESS YOU HAVE A GOOD LAWYER!
This company is an absolute nightmare to do business with. They sell subpar (junk) furniture and engage in deceptive practices to frustrate, stall and keep your hand earned money. They owe me a refund of $1,085.17 for return of a recliner chair that was falling apart within 60 days of purchase. This is the second defective chair in 90 days. Chair was returned after their own repair technician refused to repair it because he claimed it was poor quality & would “fail again”. When I explained that I spent over $1,000 for the chair, he replied “well, you did purchase it at Bob’s Discount Furniture”! He then went on to explain that he had been doing furniture repair for almost 40 years, works on Lazy Boy and other quality furniture, and knows junk when he sees it! Although their chair has already been picked up, I have yet to receive a dime back from them. Instead, they issued a partial refund for only $225 to my bank card, then cancelled it. I have now had multiple phone conversations with their customer support team, which by the way is in Guatemala, have been put on hold for extensive periods, hung up on, insulted, and after 40 minutes on the phone today, they now have the records so screwed up that I feel a lawsuit might be the only way to recover my money! I just wanted a comfortable chair to enjoy my retirement in.I did not sign-up for all this drama, frustration, & Bob’s false & deceptive business practices, which appear to be designed to cheat hard working folks out of their money!
