Delivery at own risk to property damages
The ordering online was easy. The quality of sectional was very nice for the cost. The guy to schedule delivery was super nice. Those are the pros.
The cons, the delivery guys barely spoke english but where polite & assembled everything as expected...however the damaged the corner of our 1800s barn with their truck & just drove off. I contacted Bob & filed a claim for property damages. Few weeks later,barn still not repaired & they just offered $200 to settle even though it's likely thousands of dollars in damages. So yeah, not happy with this experience & hard to recommend them to friends & family. Im in the process of getting an estimate for repairs from a builder so I can submit to the claims. They said they might need to do a comparative estimate. I just wrote back that they'd need to then find an A rated better business bureau rated builder to do the work for the comparative quote then. Which is fine, they just seem unprofessional & why am I having to get the estimate done on my own in the first place. Just a weird process with the claim so far. Use this company at your own risk. Maybe pickup furniture on your own with a truck. The white glove service I paid hundreds of dollars for the delivery...is in fact a joke.

Purchasing furniture at Bob’s Discount Furniture
Our experience purchasing furniture at Bob’s Discount Furniture was outstanding. Our salesperson, Bernie, was exceptional—he took the time to truly listen to my wish list, walked us through the store, and showed us options that perfectly matched my vision. He was incredibly patient as we tested different pieces and never once made us feel pressured. He wasn’t just trying to make a sale; he genuinely wanted to help us find furniture we loved.
The delivery arrived on time and went very smoothly. The delivery team set everything up perfectly and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving.
After having the furniture in our living room for a few hours, I realized that while I absolutely loved our new couches, I wasn’t thrilled with the coffee table I had chosen. After reading the return policy, I assumed an exchange wouldn’t be possible—but I decided to reach out to Bernie anyway. He went above and beyond by authorizing the exchange and scheduling a new delivery for a different coffee table.
I can’t say enough good things about this experience and would absolutely recommend this store to others.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
All I have to say is 3 words if you insist buying furniture from Bobs Discount Furniture. GET GOOF PROOF. My actual recommendation is just drive buy it and DO NOT go in. If you go inside you will be suckered in by how nice the furniture looks and feels in the store. Once you get it at home you will then realize how cheaply made their stuff is. I guess I'm a fool because you think I would have learned my lesson from the first sectional we bought there and barely 4 years later the faux leather started peeling away like crazy. But i didn't learn my lesson so instead of shopping for quality I was suckered in by their prices which btw is not cheap. I bought another sectional for 3000 dollars. Within months the back piece of one of the recliners completely snapped only to realize it was cheap particle board. Goof Proof replaced that piece with a new one. Now here I am 4 months later and now the corner section of the sectional also snapped in the back and it basically is flopping around. So here we go again with Goof Proof. Never ever again will I go there for furniture. This is definitely one of those times where "YOU TRULY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR"!!!!!!!! You have been warned. Take it for what you want.

I do not know what has happened to…
I do not know what has happened to them. But they are horrible now. They didn't show up for 1st scheduled delivery, when I took off work to be home. They also didn't notify me that they wouldn't be coming. When I called them, their solution was to reschedule the delivery for a week out. When the delivery finally arrived, a piece of furniture was broken. I rescheduled to have a replacement sent. It arrived a week later, also broken. Don't try calling the store, because as I was told by a Bob's employee, they don't answer the store phone. I was told I would get a deduction from my bill but can't get a response now. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

Second time I purchase from Bob’s and the prices and quality of furniture is definitely so important to me. I didn’t feel pressured to buy something. Found a beautiful sectional and definitely recommend Bob’s. Will be returning for some other great pieces I had my eye on.
Don't let the delivery guys rush you!
I had a recliner delivered on 01/16. I was told by the store i would receive delivery confirmation 48 to 24 hrs in advance. That didn't happen. It was more like 12 hours. Then I got a call at 7am telling me they would be there in 15 minutes. Mind you there delivery times starts at 7:30am. Then they called me twice about 7:20 to tell me they were there. I was not home and explained that my wife and son were getting ready to have them come in. Then when delivering chair they rushed my wife and son to sign so they can get out of dodge. We'll low and behold the chair was dirty. So I called and complained. They are gonna replace it and gave me money back. But now I have a dirty chair that I covered. And have a chair taki g up space sitting I my living room till the 01/21. Which I have not received a delivery time for. So I used there chat option who couldn't find anything of my delivery. Then I chatted with a person who had told me the same thing. I sent them a copy of the invoice and low and behold they found it. Now mind you I was reading all the info off the invoice when they were asking me question to find my pick up and return. So they gave me a delivery window of 3 hrs Starting at 11am. So it is now 01/21 and the attempt to deliver me a chair. But the guys inspected the new chair before bringing it in. Guess what it was damaged. The seem was ripped. I thanked the guys for showing me outside. So I still have original chair sitting in my living room covered. And I was told my redelivery date is gonna be next Friday 01/30. I had to choose that day because I am home from work during the day to receive. I had taken 01/21 off. Which I don't get paid days off. They did credit me money again. But you know what it isn't worth the headache. So lets hope things go good next week when now a 3rd chair comes. I keep my fingers crossed.
