MTVH IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AS A HOUSING ASSOCIATION but today I have given a 5 star for ONE REASON and that is the gentleman I spoke to named Crisean, he was very professional and understanding he allowed me to explain which most of the customer service team don't do they like to speak over you and never truly listen to what's wrong. This gentleman should be commended for his customer service skills. If all the team members had such good manners and excellent customer care skills MTVH would be a better company.

The person I spoke with was really good at his job. Customer service is really important now a days, as not many services actually give you that proper customer care experience. Crisean was very reassuring, very empathetic; mainly he listened to my problems without any hesitation or stopping me. Which I honestly really appreciated.

I spoke to Shane re tree uprooting the walk way and causing people to stumble in the dark and also affecting the floors in my flat. I asked for the tree to be cut down. This has been ongoing for years. He trialled the new video system and he was able to see the problem. The same as the bin house. He raised repairs for both and gave me the refs numbers.
He was super efficient, professional and so lovely to speak to. I was very impressed with the whole thing.

Trust until it goes wrong
Don't take accountability when their Contractors Sure Serve failed in every way leaving me with no Heating or Hot water in Winter. Left me with incredibly Complex
issues to deal with whilst my world has been turned upside down by the impact their negligence has caused. They need to hire their own Contractors and to reconfigure all of their reporting systems which are awful.

I am very disappointed with Thames…
I am very disappointed with Thames Valley Housing Association (TVHA). They do not seem to care about the people living in the building or about basic services being provided.
Our building has not been cleaned since 11 February 2026. I reported this issue, and the response I received was simply that they had informed the cleaning contractor. Unfortunately, nothing has changed and the building is still not being cleaned.
Residents should not have to keep chasing for something as basic as regular cleaning. It feels like neither TVHA nor the cleaning contractor are taking responsibility for maintaining the building.
I hope TVHA starts taking these issues seriously and ensures contractors actually do the work they are paid to do.

3-floor shelter accommodation with a lift not working for 6 weeks
Good morning, Lee. Thank you for your reply. I was not in contact with MTHW. It's not nice looking that each lift user knows the lift has a problem with its door opening and closing. Each user knows but not subcontractors. Check MTHW records, then you will know how many times the local manager in 2025 informed about these issues. Probably no one from MTHW control subcontractors, just pay without verification, wasting the taxpayer's money. Regards. User

We pay service charge to this company…
We pay service charge to this company and when they send correspondence they don't provide an email address so we cannot contact them by email if we have a query. They provide a phone number but no one answers the call. When we have a question we have to go on their website, fill a form and send it via their website but because they don't provide a record of what we have sent we are not able to use the query for future reference whereas with an email we would be able to do it. They send a reply after a few days asking so many questions that we regret contacting them.
We recently received the service charge demand but there was no account number and sort code and when we asked them to provide those they came back with so many questions. We were really surprised as all we asked for was their account number and sort code.

Awful I’ve owned a leasehold property…
Awful I’ve owned a leasehold property with this hideous company for over 20 years. Roof leak intermittently for 20 years . Last leak reported June 2025 - bunch of incompetents send round lots of people who promise me will be fixed . They all disappear in a puff of smoke never hear from them again As of now February 2026 everytime it rains in London it also rains s in my house . Shortly my ceilings will come down & electrics will blow MTVHA do not care . All they care about is collecting service charge . 1 day late they email you, text you & continually harass you . I know I need to pay or I’m in breach of my leasehold - theyve breached their leasehold responsibility for 20+ years .. yes I now have a lawyer I’m fox e with this horrible company . They owe me huge compensation & apology . The people you deal with when you call are lovely the companies incompetence is not their fault . MTVHA FIX MY ROOF STOP IT RAINING I NSIDE MY HOUSE … TOO MUCH TO ASK ????? Really you are just shocking . DO NOT BUY A PROPERTY WHERE MTVHA ARE FREEHOLDERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARMED THEY ARE TERRIBLE .

communal lights issues for partially sighted resident addressed
Chris A talked me through a communal repair and then sent a link for a visual recording of the repair issue raised and was brilliant at explaining it all. I am partially sighted so appreciated his quick emergency responce to lighting issue in hallway for safety reasons he was very reassuring Thankyou to Mtvh for your urgent assistance with this matter.
