Booked a bouncy castle two weeks ahead of a birthday party. Texted 'Mr Cool' two days prior the event (no answer), then again a day before the event, to finally be told he did not remember the booking and that no bouncy castle was available... thank you 'Mr Reliable'

Booked Barry a few months ago for communion on Saturday. Got the famous text on Tuesday evening that he couldn't deliver to the area. All other bouncy castles are now booked out. Rang him last week to confirm booking and he even told me he'd be here the Thursday.
How dare he treat Children like this. Should not be in business!

This man is an absolute disgrace! Not one bit trustworthy. Cancelled the bouncy castle I ordered for a communion this Saturday. I made the booking months ago and he cancelled Tuesday with only a few days notice. Excuse was he was really busy and couldn't deliver to where I lived. What a joke. He knew where I lived when booking was made. He should be ashamed of himself. All the children he has let down and broken their hearts and also should be reported to revenue! I doubt this cowboy declares his taxes. Do not book from this man!!

Booked my daughters boucing castle on the 17th of june for her communion got a text last night cancelling booking 4 days before her communion disgrace of a company do not ever book with these cowboys..he is now ignoring all my messages

Woeful service. Booked in May for a communion in September and was let down via text message at 10pm 4 days before the event. Absolute cowboy

Got kids slide delivered in plenty of time. My grandchild is nearly 2 so we wanted something safe. My god the little man had a bawl on it. Couldnt reccomend Mr Cool enough.

Do not make a booking with this company had booked from last year for my daughter communion been ringing and texting since last week to confirm booking of time he will be calling ignored me and blocked me on Facebook used him for years very unprofessional to leave me hanging 4 days before communion after the last year and half kids had and communion cancelled he do this to kids a disgrace of a man

We booked a bouncing castle 3 months in advance and Barry cancelled it with 4 days to go.
When questioned Barry couldn't care less and explained that he had got a booking closer to home which was better money for him then than traveling to our house

Been getting castles off this company a while and I wouldn’t go anywhere else such great friendly services. I would highly recommend Barry is a gent! 10/10

This man should not be in business.. had my son's 7th birthday booked with him last Sunday which I booked in April. On to him to confirm numerous times . Never arrived rang him no answer only texts saying he'll be 20 mins late . I had all my son's friends waiting with nothing for them . I am beyond shocked and disappointed with this service. DO NOT USE MR COOL

Ordered the bouncy castle with the slide came early and the kids were delighted will definitely be dealing with this company in the future very professional and friendly thank you

Booked a bouncy castle from Mr Cool Events for my daughter's birthday party last weekend. It was due to be delivered at ten o clock on Saturday morning, so the night before, my wife contacted Mr Cool himself to double check that all would go to plan and that it would be delivered on time.

Informing us that he was very busy, he asked what time the party was due to start (12 o clock), and assured us that he would be there at half eleven.

He eventually showed up at twenty to two and set up the bouncy castle (which was different to the one we ordered). He made sure to let us know, again, that he was very busy (why take the booking then?). I guess we should be grateful that he was kind enough to grace us with his presence at all.

Half an hour after he left, the motor stopped working and the bouncy castle, much like the kids enjoyment, deflated.

I tried several times to call him, to no avail. I eventually got through, and was told that that shouldn't have happened, and that I should check the electricity in the house.

That obviously wasn't the cause of the deflation. More likely, it had something to do with the fact that the cables were held together with duct tape, but I'm not an expert.

This was at quarter past three, and I had to leave to go to work. He told me that he could come back to fix the problem at five.

He did not show up at five.

He eventually arrived at ten to six and told my wife that the motor cut out because she was using a fryer at the same time.

He offered to leave the castle with us for an extra day, which my wife declined. There's not much enjoyment to be gained from having a deflated 40 foot crocodile in your garden.

My wife requested a full refund, but Mr Cool deemed that his tardiness and subpar equipment didn't necessitate doing the decent thing, instead giving only half of the €200 price tag back because "he could have rented it out to someone else".

So, for half an hour's bouncing, we paid €100.

To be honest, from the sheer amount of bad reviews I've read online (and the fact that he has disabled the review feature on Facebook), I don't understand how he's still in business. Hopefully, in reading this, someone might avoid the displeasure of dealing with him.

Avoid like the plague.

Absolute disgrace of a company. Booked this for my sons birthday for this weekend. Got a text at 10.45 last night to say they could not take my booking as they are too busy. I booked them nearly 2 months ago. I rang before I booked to confirm that they had availability and they delivered to my area as I live in a rural area and he said that they had availability and delivered to my area and would take my booking. I was absolutely raging after I got the text message late last night to cancel. My son was hysterical at the top of the stairs this morning after I told him that the bouncy castle he was looking forward to for the last 2 months was after being cancelled. I rang and I said I got a text off him late last night to cancel my booking for the weekend and he said which one naming 3 or 4 different other places he obviously let down last minute aswell. He said he was too busy to take my booking he was very busy with calls the last couple of weeks to which I replied that is no good to me or my son who had booked 2 months ago. He said everywhere was very busy over the schools closing and everyone had been looking for bouncy castles (this was the reason I booked 2 months on advance as I knew this would be the case). He said he text me last night to give me plenty of notice to get another supplier after just telling me everyone are looking for bouncy castles 3 days is definitely not enough notice to get another obstacle course booked and an absolute disgrace. They should not be in business if they can do this to little children and not even give it a second thought. Absolutely fuming

Did not honour a booking for a communion. Didnt answer the phone when late. Text saying he coyldn5 make it. Turns out he was letting down many parents all day yesterday. No show. No apology. Disappointed children. A total disgrace.

It was my son's conformation he was expecting a slushie machine and a popcorn machine Barry canceled night before my son's conformation shocking

Absolutely shocking service booked this company twice , once for a birthday party& the second time for a communion & both times they didn’t show up, like who doesn’t show up nowadays disgraceful! Never again would I book these guys I rang on the communion day 4times to make sure they wouldn’t let me down again after birthday party & they never bothered to return my calls like what the hell !

What can I say only that 'Mr. Cool' , Macroom is the best Ice-cream truck in Munster. Care-a-lot Childcare, Upton has been dealing with Barry for the past number of years. We find him to be very professional, happy go lucky and very pleasant. The children love to see him call to give them their 99's with sprinkles. And as we say here ' heavy on the miracle, Mr. Cool', aka strawberry sauce. Value for money is exceptional, which is always a bonus too. We are looking forward to seeing Mr. Cool again real soon.
