Just bought a new car from here, dealt with Tom really genuine bloke. Absolutely made up with it thanks Tom.

OMG, were do I start? Bought an I pace Jaguar last year. After 2 weeks the car had faulty air con (common fault on this model). Dropped off the car for 2 weeks while I went on holiday, was promised that the car would be repaired on my return. Phone them up when I got off holiday only to find that they didn't know anything about it. When I told them the car reg it was then they they said "oh it that what it's parked up for". Apparently the sales man who sold me the vehicle had left the business and they had no clue why it was there. I was then told that the car would have to go onto a specialist to be repaired. I then told them that I needed a car for work, they gave a clapped out Ford Focus that had just been traded in, I wouldn't keep a dog in there it was that dirty. 6 weeks later still no car. 72 phone calls later and being fobbed off saying they will phone me back, not once after 72 calls did they phone me back. Mark & Gregg, shame on you. What sort of business are you running? I then received the car back after 7 weeks, I was promised a full valet on return of the vehicle, Did I get one, NO. Baring in mind I still had the Ford Focus at my work premises, sat doing nothing for month, they did not contact me for me to return the Focus. In fact, I had to ring them to remind them that I still had the car. Conversation went something like this... Me "Hiya, can I speak to Mark?" Them "He's not available at the moment, can I get him to ring you back?" (Like he would?). ". Me "Well tell him that I still have the Ford Focus I borrowed". Them " Oh is that were it is", we've been looking around the premises for that for 2 weeks". Sure enough within 30 minutes I got a phone back to arrange collection.
In my humble opinion, very poor customer relations, they do not realise that buying a car is big thing in some peoples lives, this had a massive effect on my mental health. I didn't receive any kind of compensation nor even an apology.
My daughter also bought a car off them the same day, between us we spent best part of £40000. After 6 months the car broke down and needed substantial repair, we were that disappointed in the company that we paid privately to get the car repaired, £480 down. This is all because we could not face putting up with dealing them again. I hope this all makes sense. Onwards & upwards people in your search for car.

Came to look at the new dealer Came across a lovely salesman called Adam had a amazing experience with him he treated us so well we even left same day with a car on finance would definitely recommend to everyone

My daughter traded her car in and it was agreed they would pay remainder of finance off. Her new purchase went through dvla informed of change of ownership for old car yet 3 months on they still haven't paid off her finance. Greg,Andy and Chris won't take any calls from us they just hang up!! Chris has blocked us. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour!!! The finance company are always contacting my daughter to pay but she's cancelled direct debit as Motortrust own the car! Her last call to them she spoke to Andy who was very rude and nasty towards her!! Avoid this company!!!

Dealt with Adam at Motortrust who was very friendly, polite and helpful throughout this transaction. I pointed out a couple of minor scratches on the car which were put right and I was kept up to date on progress. Very happy and would shop at Motortrust again.

Adam was great getting car sorted and answered questions we had, he also could of got price cheaper if had finance done with them but was first time doing finance, would recommend to any looking for next car.

Aftersales is very poor. We brought a car in April 2025 a Tesla sold by Jason. We had issues with the car ever since, they said they would fix it as a "goodwill gesture". Didn't give any invoice or paperwork to show they did work on the car. We had taken out an extended warranty with yourself (autoguard platinum). We rang them and they said it is not covered which left us with a hefty bill on the car. When the salesman describes the warranty, he doesnt go through it in detail on what is covered. His response is "everything". Would not go here again. Apoorling.

We found that Tesla found the fault for the car's software not updating and were going to charge us £2000. We got it fixed from them. Initally, Jason arranged the car to be taken to somewhere in a workshop and they said they fixed it. There was no paperwork given just a promise.

Staff friendly and knowledgeable especially Adam who dealt with me, the wife and kids.
Bought a Citroen Berlingo and impressed with their stock of vehicles.bwould highly recommend Adam and Motortrustuk Bury.
