Mont had what I needed in stock and were able to ship promptly, so I would rate their service as excellent.

Great bad weather coat. Longer length is perfect for really wet conditions. Very breathable, but keeps the wind out beautifully.
Only concern for me was the shaping of the hood. Would have preferred a naturally smaller and shaped hood rather than have to operate draw strings and a velcro tag to adjust it when the hood is being used.
That being said, a top quality coat and I am very happy with it.

After recently completing my Advanced Hiking Course with Australian Alps Trek Support (AATS) in Mansfield, I was really impressed with the demonstration and performance review offered by the instructors of the Moondance Tent ( especially that part of the snow gum trunk damage!). I decided to invest in a Moondance 1P for my hike with friends on the AAWT supported by AATS ( same guys who do Larapinta Trail Trek Support) and it was the perfect tent. I also used it on the Larapinta last few weeks. The service at Mont was great. They were knowledgeable and really into the Mont gear (as they should!). And that's the thing. Mont is an Australian company making exceptional great products and yet so many hikers don't know about them. I only knew about the Moondance tent and other gear only after seeing the AATS instructors using it on the course. If you can go to the Canberra store, its well worth the effort.

My jacket has a nice soft feel and is well made. I particularly like the extra length which comes down to my thighs. I am a big man and in between sizes and, I found the staff very helpful in finding the right fit. I would buy again and recommend it to others

I bought a large size Ultralight bushwalking jacket to replace a Paddy Pallin 1990's goretex weighing twice the new one. I'm a medium but the large fits a thick fibrepile and puffer under, for Tassie winters. Sleeves are big enough to fit ski gloves in.

Lost my 8 year old tent fly on the weekend. Even though the design has changed, Mont found a spare and shipped it the same day I made the enquiry.
The gear is excellent quality and so is the after sales service.

I purchased a Mont tent a couple of years ago. A section of the pole broke in extreme conditions. The pole section was replaced promptly free of charge. The service to replace the correct pole section was excellent and the free of cost was unexpected. I was therefore very pleased with the outcome.
