If I could give zero stars I would. Don't order from this company!! SCAM to say the least. Transmission lasted only a week, and they will not do anything about it except have us pay to send it back and pay for new parts that have to go in.

Brand new transmission failed now to do the warranty after sending pictures has taken weeks and weeks and weeks and I'm out the cost of new fluid and labor and I run a repair shop and there were several things that they forgot to do when they built this transmission.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had involving getting parts, and any responses from one company.
The only saving grace through this whole thing was an amazing woman named Susan. She was so much help to me. I think she’s a saint! The company should promote her to president. If they do that the company would run a lot better believe me. Thanks for all your help Sue. I really appreciate everything you did for me.
I sent a transmission to them because Scott the salesman told me they didn’t have any that they could sell me, I had a leak I could not detect, so I decided to have a full rebuild done and service to find any damage to the case. When I got back my “Rebuilt 700r4”transmission still had all the gasket seal that I put on it and it was still leaking when I put it back in. They painted it and painted over the gasket seal and Told me that was from somebody else. Yeah!
It was me trying to stop the leak. The warranty department will not respond to me whatsoever. It’s been a month and a half and I still haven’t had them contact me with any kind of resolution. I spent $3200 to get a leaky transmission. Does it make sense to anyone?!!!!
The warranty department service is horrible. Don’t buy from these people.

Ordered a 4l65e built to 650hp spec. They sent me updates every step of the way so i knew where things were at, and worked with me on the shipping. Put it in a year ago and have easily put over 10k miles on it. I do autocross, and lots of long distance driving. It's in my 99 Camaro SS which is mildly tuned (400hp). I put a 3500 stall converter on when I installed it. The Transmission has performed flawlessly to date, good firm shifts. Shipping was really pricy, but that's what I get for living in Hawaii so i cant put that on them. I saw the bad reviews when I was shopping around, and some of the YouTube videos left me with the impression that the customer either didn't know what they asked for when they ordered it, or didn't have much of a mechanical background and user error was the problem. Sure there might be negative reviews, but you can find negative reviews on anything if that's all you're looking for. I believe they sold me a solid product, and it has performed well in the year that I've had it in. Thank you MONSTER

This company is nothing but a joke they still your money and lie to you repeatedly when you try to get answers from them they took my money over a month ago and keep giving me the run around about how it's has parts on back order and they will try to make it happen but it is bull they are just jerk offs don't trust the salesman named Sam he a puppet for the suit company

What a flipping joke! We bought a yukon transmission from monster transmission about 1 year to 1 1/2 ago. The 3rd and 4th gear started slipping again even after we have been on top of the transmission flushes. My husband tried to reach out multiple times to get the warranty going so we could get it fixed. It took them about 8months to actually reach back out to us. Then Chris told us that it was because they had a large turnover of employees that's why it took them so long to get back to us. Okay I can be understanding of that if they were willing to take steps to rush a new transmission to us (we are in the middle of moving states). Not our fault that their part and their employees were incompetent. But no, it's going to take another 3-4 weeks before we are going to get a transmission even delivered and this is all while we have to have our vehicle torn apart and rush our old transmission to them. It's funny that we have to rush and bend over backwards to give them our business but they aren't doing much to earn ours. PLEASE IF YOU CAN, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I ordered a 4l60e transmissin from monster I got to reading there reviews an changed my mind. I canceled the order the next day. They charged me 800 dollars for a restocking fee. Idk why because they hadn't even took it off shelf yet! They did give me store credit for the 800. I went ahead an used store credit to get a 3200 stall converter. I bought a trasmission from a diffent place 3700 hundred. I put transmission in with monsters torque converter. I drove car for about 30 miles an pulled in to car wash an car wouldn't move at all. I had to get car tower home 250 dollars. I took transmission back out thinking it was transmission. I shipped transmission back to were I got it from 250 dollars along with the torque coverter I got from monster so they could test it all for me 300 dollars. Transmission tested out good with the place I got transmission from torque coverter. When they tested it with monsters torque coverter it wouldn't do anythang. So they asked me if it was OK if they could cut it open an c what was wrong with it 100 dollars. They cut it open an found out when monster put it together they welded threw the outside to the inside an welded everything together. So I called monster an the told me to send pics so I did. Michelle told me she would get pics to techs an the would get back with me no later than 4 business days. I call after a week an sue says she would get them get on it. A week later I call an they say they were backed up but they were looking at it now an get back with me by end of day. It's been 3 more days an nothing. Now I got to pay 250 dollars for shipping back on transmission an torque converter. Sooooooooo don't buy from monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't buy from monster!!!!!

Thanks Monster for the opinion of your Chevy 350 combo package with 700R4 for my 1986 Chevy Silverado k10. I’m waiting for it to arrive at my house which is all so really nice. I have everything ready to go and starting tomorrow I’ll be taking out the original transmission and the original 305 and putting your 350 package in it. Dealing with John Blair one of your reps was all good and he was very helpful answering my questions. And putting things in place and getting everything going. I hope that it lasts me a lifetime and I can pass it on to one of my sons. Thanks for everything so far.

I would rate a minus 1 since there rip offs and do not give you the $500.00 core return!!! It's been months!!! 40 calls to them!!! Company is not reliabe!!!!

David is great with his customers very knowledgeable only will sell you what you need. Doesn't try to sell you something you don't need. All around great experience. I will only be dealing with him in the future.

I got the black beast, 750 hp and 1000 ft lbs. 90 day warranty. It made 500 of the easiest miles and reverse went out. No help from monster, waste of 4000 thousand dollars. Yes it was 8 months old. 90 day warranty means it won't last. Truck was never in the mud or hooked to a trailer. It couldn't handle running the dogs. Junk!

I would like to gave Dorothy Montiny five stars due to the fact she help me a lot. Unfortunatelly the Monster’s checkout page did not work well and she spent a lot of time and did her best efforts trying to find a solution. I was inquiring on how to get my core charge money refunded to me. I called Monster and got in touch with Susan.. She sent me the form to fill out and called back the next morning to confirm she was mailing me a check for my core. She was very knowledgeable and helpful!

Fantastic customer service! Scott was very helpful and knowledgeable helping me with the rebuild of my turbo 350 transmission. This is the third transmission I have purchased from Monster Transmission for different hot Rod projects. Definitely a quality company with quality staff members.

Scam alert!! Don't buy from these guys, I canceled a transmission order within an hour of ordering because I realized the transmission I ordered wasn't going to be strong enough. Now they won't refund me my money or return my calls or answer the phone .

The first 48re they sent me burned up within 2k miles. The replacement never made it out of the driveway. Started a claim took it to transmission shop and paid to have it diagnosed sent paperwork to monster and Covid hit. I never heard from them again. They claim a shipment email was sent to me. Ended up buying a new truck so just put that one on the back burner. Thought of it a few months ago and after several emails finally got a response. Basically telling me to kick rocks. They will not provide me with a copy of the email that was sent to me. Stay away from them! You would be better off buying a transmission off of Facebook market place and rolling the dice.

Scam alert. Purchased a transmission for $3700, canceled the order within 24 hours and they didn't want to refund me at all. After calling everyday they eventually refunded $2700 and kept $1000 of my money saying it was a restocking fee. So it cost me $1000 just to call them and cancel a day later. Horrible, horrible business.
