Mint London 

The returns policy is completely misleading. The dress that arrived was terrible quality. I am now on my 3rd response to my request for a return . The emails I have received are identical to ones I have seen on Facebook supposedly from different agents. Initially I was offered 10% not to return, then 20% and now 30%. Otherwise the option is to ship back to China. These people are making a lot of money.

Like everyone else I can see on here, the very pretty blouse I ordered took ages to arrive and when it did was made of really think polyester. It didn’t even have a front opening but has to be put on over the head.

As I could find no clear way to return and refund, I decided to keep it only to avoid losing my money. I will never again be taken in my ads on FB but will follow that inner voice which has always told me to steer clear. I just wanted something pretty for my long awaited holiday!!

I have to jump on the band wagon and say this is truly the worst company I’ve ever bought anything from. Clothes took weeks to arrive and when they did, they looked nothing like the images and the material was so cheap and awful. Don’t thinking about trying to return the items, the ‘company’ is based in China! Postage plus custom charges apply to return anything which is really expensive. Honesty, I didn’t think such bad companies existed these days. No wonder they’ve changed their name. Never ever buy from this place! You will never like anything that is delivered. Trust me

ZERO STAR RATING...SCAMMERS!
I'm absolutely fuming with myself for being stupid enough to buy from this company...just as every other person is who have commented on here. Do not buy from Mint London or Unity London, they're both the same cr@ppy company. I'm going to report them to Trading standards tomorrow and everyone else should do so too!
My 'dress' and I use the term lightly is probably the worst quality I've ever seen and even worse is the thought someone has probably been paid 10p an hour in China to make this. It didn't even have a label in it, never seen anything like it in my life 🤦‍♀️
Please steer clear from these scammers who are taking people's money for a load of rubbish!

This is my second review of this company simply because in the last few weeks I have made no progress getting my money refunded. I ordered 2 blouses in July, size 18 (go up a size they said!) they arrived almost 4 weeks later and I would guess they are about a size 12, really bad quality and stand no chance of even going over my head! I am now 4 weeks in to the returns process. They jump up from 10% back to 50% back and I get to keep these lovely items. This is a UK registered business shipping rubbish in from Asia, I’m going to try and get a refund through my credit card next, but please don’t be tempted to buy from them. I’m cross with myself for not doing the research 😟

Very poor communication wanted to return items that did not fit and very poor quality. I Replied with in 14 day limit for returns. 5 emails to get a reply. Then said they did not want returns as it’s bad for the environment and expensive to return. Offered 20% refund!! I accepted this in absence of anything else NO REPLY! They have now changed their name to Unity London and selling the same items. Illegal to not advertise their returns policy is it not! Appalled

I discussed this ‘company’🤣with friends.
All of us had the same experience: goods arrive weeks later from China and are absolutely awful. Everything made from cheap, shoddy, thin polyester despite claims to be cotton/linen. No sizing and no washing instructions. Refunds almost impossible and you’d have to pay to send back to China. Clearly, a scam but now we all know to read the small print with a magnifying glass and look at Trustpilot reviews before buying goods from anyone who pops up on Facebook with a ‘pretty’ names that seduces you into thinking they are UK based and decent.

If I could put zero I would. Unfortunately like all previous reviews I thought they were Mint Velvet. The offer of 14 day returns for refund is rubbish. All you get is an offer of 10, 20 or 30% I was digging my heels in and planned to return but then I didn’t trust them to say it had been received or if they would then charge customs duty as the returns were to China. They’ve now rebranded to Unity London to hide.

I foolishly thought I was buying from Mint Velvet. I bought items totalling over £120 and I’ve probably lost the lot. The garments are awful, nothing like the photographs. Cheap material, badly made and unwearable. I tried to cancel the order but kept being told it had been dispatched. It took forever to come so not sure it had actually been dispatched when they said. Not even worth one star!

As mentioned by other reviewers I thought I was ordering from Mint Velvet! Total con artists! I can see that the website has now closed down and they are “rebranded” as Unity London (unitylondon.com) - just an attempt to con more people under another name. At least no-one will now think they are Mint Velvet!! I would say avoid but under the old name if you thought you were ordering from Mint Velvet you wouldn’t have done any research and under the new name there are not any reviews yet! Facebook need to take some responsibility and not allow these companies to advertise! I have lost £200 and feel completely fed up that I was so stupid to believe taken in by them! Attempting a claim via my bank as I attempted to cancel within 4 days without success!!

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. I received my order which is of extremely poor quality and bares no resemblance to the advertised dress. I have been emailing Mint, now rebranded as Unity, with no response. There is also no telephone number. At best they provide poor quality items, at worse, they are a scam company.

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. I foolishly bought a dress from a FB ad as I thought I was buying from Mint Velvet. As soon as the conformation email landed I realized my mistake and tried to cancel. There was no option to cancel, so I emailed them immediately. They came back after 48 hrs stating as the order had already been shipped they could not cancel it, but that I could return it when It arrived.
Asked for a returns label, told they could not provide this.
Item arrived, totally not as described, different style and colour and horrible quality.
Asked for a full refund and address of their London offices so I could return it.
Told I would have to return to China at the cost of £30.
Asked again for full refund and shipping label, also accused them of not being based in UK.
Same email about returning to China, but stating they are a UK based company. Offered 20% refund.
Emails went back and forth, I repeatedly asked for name of CEO and address of London offices, they claim they can't provide them as that info is private ( hilarious!)
Finally offered a 50% refund and keep the dress, have decided to cut my losses and accept. ( as much as it galls me).
This is clearly a company based in China, fraudulently trading as UK based.

II wouldn’t even give a one star it would a negative star! Absolute rubbish nothing like the slick online photos of garments. Obviously run up in some back street sweat shop in China. Foolishly thought I was ordering from Mint Velvet. I notice now they have been renamed Unity….hardly think so🥵

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! I’d give Mint-London a ZERO rating if I could! Appalling quality of item purchases, no resemblance to image advertised. Took ages to deliver, I was on holiday when they did, now I’m racing to get a refund request in and all roads of contact lead nowhere! I feel totally scammed! (I stupidly thought I was buying from Mint Velvet!) How/where can I report them? They need to be investigated and shut down.

Why oh why did I not listen to my inner voice and not buy from a company advertising on Facebook.Subconsciously I think I thought I was buying from Mintvelvet..my bad.Crap garment,refund policy non existent,website uncontactable…same old story.Somebody shut them down please

goods have not arrived. Have subsequently been advised to STEER CLEAR of this company as it is a scam. Wish I'd checked sooner...

I kept looking at a dress I saw on Facebook and when the price was reduced, I ordered it. The dress took 11 days to arrive. When it arrived, there was no packing and returns details and the dress was placed in a clear plastic bag. There is no brand label and only L for the size. When I took the dress out of the packaging, the fabric felt so cheap and disgusting that I didn't even bother trying it on. I then looked at the returns policy and saw that the buyer has to pay the shipping and postal costs back to Asia. I discovered all the negative reviews on Trust Pilot after I had received the item. I contacted Mint London and they offered me 20% refund to avoid the expense of sending the dress back. I replied that I wanted to return the dress and obtain a full refund and informed them that I have contacted my credit card company. I have today visited Mint London website and see that the company has closed down but they are still processing returns and refunds!!

Terrible Company. They do everything to avoid letting you return unwanted goods. Now I have to pay postage to China.
What a con calling themselves Mint London.

Nothing like images on web site. Took three weeks to arrive, poor workmanship, awful cheap fabric. Unable to return or get refund website says ‘closed’ and the email given on that post doesn’t work. Total scam avoid and try and cancel any payment you have made.

I wish I had read the reviews! Took ages to arrive and then is very poor quality. When you go to their “14 day quarante” it says they are sadly having to close the shop! Total scam.
