I've never used a hotel agent before, but started just this year. I phoned MICE just because they were the last agency to contact me for a show hotel booking. I was extremely impresssed with the way they handled my enquiry. They turned out to be very slightly cheaper than I could have got by booking independently, including the fact that I belong to the hotel's "club".
Then the hotel made a mistake in the number of occupants.
(I cannot stand people who make mistakes!)
MICE got on to them and they corrected it immediately
Very pleased.
If all goes well I shall leave this excellent review.
Otherwise I'll be back, but my contact with MICE to date is extremely good!

The website MICE made for our meeting attendees to book their accommodation through was slightly difficult to navigate and seemed to include a lot of information that wasn't really necessary to the booking process. However, the contact I have had with the MICE staff has been exceptional.
