We are a team of Menopause Specialist Doctors passionate about providing evidence based, holistic perimenopause, PMS, weight management and menopause care. We see patients via both online appointments and we have a face to face in clinic in London locations, plus Sheffield, Glasgow, Colchester, Wilmslow and Durham. Excellent care and advice

Excellent care and advice. Nothing too much trouble even with 3 follow up emails, all responded to with further support and guidance. The on the day appt availability was crucial for me and I would highly recommend.

A costly service for NHS pace

The Dr I met with was perfectly pleasant and had an excellent manner. I did, however, have to wait four days for the electronic prescription to come through which I didn’t expect to have to wait so long having paid to go privately. Part of the prescription was emailed later than that and meant I didn’t have it for three weeks as I was leaving for a holiday, something the Dr was aware of. Whilst away, I had severe reactions to the medications which I emailed the Dr about but didn’t hear back for five days and then offering a 15 appointment call for £115. By that time I received a response, I had stopped the medication as the side effects/reaction was too painful. Not a service I’d recommend or will be returning too. If paying to have private health care, patients should not face such delays.

As the prescription wasn’t one we routinely issue, we needed to arrange it through an external pharmacy, which resulted in it taking longer than usual. We completely understand how frustrating that must have been, and we are sorry it didn't arrive before your holiday.

In terms of follow-up to queries, we aim to provide a full reply to emails within 48 business hours which we did in this case, though we appreciate that it may still have felt slow given how you were feeling at the time. We try and do this as fast as we can and hope to speed this up further moving forwards.

I had an online appt this time, and it was good, Doc Kelly is always very helpful and listens to what I have to say. I would recommend anyone with Peri/Menopause to use this service.

They really know how to take advantage of women who are feeling their lowest!

I turned to this service as a last resort, hoping to finally feel like myself again after receiving little support from my GP. I chose the All-in-One plan, which initially seemed like a great option, especially since it included up to £90 worth of medication every three months for a monthly fee of £89.

My initial consultation with the doctor was positive, and I was optimistic about the three medications she prescribed. However, my total prescription cost exceeded the £90 allowance, and I had to pay an additional £63 upfront. I was told this would be a one-time payment.

Two weeks into using the prescribed patches, I started experiencing persistent headaches. After emailing the doctor, she recommended increasing the dose, which involved cutting and using additional patches. This led me to run out of the medication much sooner—just a month and a half in.

When I contacted the clinic to request more patches, I was shocked to be asked for an additional £75 because the request was considered outside of my initial appointment. This felt unfair, as I was simply following the doctor’s guidance due to worsening symptoms.

In just two months, I’ve spent a total of £405—far more than I had anticipated. Unfortunately, I won’t be continuing my subscription. I would urge others to be cautious and to ask detailed questions about hidden costs before signing up. What seems like a convenient, all-inclusive service can end up being much more expensive than expected.

They just don't care...


Extremely Disappointed – Poor Communication and Lack of Support

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Menopause Care. The communication has been truly appalling. Repeatedly, my calls go unanswered. Emails are either ignored or—worse—lost altogether. On multiple occasions, I’ve asked for help arranging blood tests and received absolutely no response. It feels like I'm constantly chasing them, only to be met with silence.

What’s most upsetting is that despite taking my monthly subscription payment, they have failed to deliver the promised care. I'm left in limbo—frustrated, unsupported, and no further forward in managing my menopause symptoms.

This has taken a real toll on my mental health. At a time when support is most needed, I’ve felt ignored and completely let down. I expected professional care and communication, but instead I’ve experienced avoidant, disorganised service that has only added to my stress and anxiety.

Women seek out menopause support because we need help. Unfortunately, I have found none here.
Still waiting for the admin team to close my account 3 weeks after asking and calling and emailing.

This is absolutely not the experience we want any of our patients to have, especially at such an important time. You deserved timely, compassionate, and consistent support, and I’m sorry we didn’t meet that standard for you.

We know that navigating menopause can be challenging, and accessing care should never add to that stress. I’m particularly sorry that communication from our admin team fell short. We’ve recently been updating our systems and managing some unexpected staff absences, which unfortunately impacted our ability to respond as quickly as we should have, and I take full responsibility for that. I’m pleased to say though that these issues are now fixed.

I’m pleased to hear that you found your consultation with our specialist nurse helpful, and I completely understand how her departure may have left you feeling disappointed and without continuity. Our aim is always to provide seamless care, and I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience. Our other nurses and doctors are also exceptional and would be more than happy to see you should you wish.

Following your conversation earlier this week, I hope the steps we took to resolve your concerns, cancelling your subscription, processing your refund, and offering support from our specialist team, went some way to reassuring you. Fabulous support and care- Sheffield

Fabulous support from the central team and Dr Cawley who is based in Sheffield. Very easy process to book my initial in person appointment, prices were transparent and my consultation was extremely thorough. Dr Cawley was very knowledgable and was quickly able to provide advice on several options available to me. Follow up letters and appointments were prompt and shared with my GP who took on the advice and prescribed my treatment. I can’t recommend them enough, truly excellent menopause care!

Excellent care

I first had my appointment in February with Dr Robertson. To finally have someone join the dots for my symptoms that GPs and hospital consultants hadn’t was such a relief and made me feel heard at last. I am still navigating what is the best dose and frequency for me with hrt and I know through Menopause Care I will get that help which I wouldn’t get from my GP so easily. I also today have had a menopause coach appointment with Jane James and oh my, what a lovely lady who listened and shared her experiences and made me feel like I am not going nuts, this appointment today was the icing on the cake and adds even more to what a benefit Menopause Care has been to me.

I was nearly at my wits end but after…

I was nearly at my wits end but after an online consultation with Dr Munro I felt so much better. I can’t remember the date of the consultation. A plan was made and I’m hoping soon my hormones can settle down so that I can be a normal human being again. Everyone I’ve come into contact with at menopause care ltd was helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly, reassuring and professional service for my PMDD.

I came to the clinic for help and advice for my PMDD symptoms and saw Dr Hannah Short as she specialises in this area. I was immediately impressed by the friendly personable and professional service I received on the telephone when making the call. The options for appointments and payments we clearly discussed with me and the staff have made a daunting process very manageable. I have always had prompt responses from the staff and my first consultation with Dr Short was fantastic. She really took the time to listen to and helped me navigate how best to work with my GP moving forward. Her advice was brilliant and she gave me real tools for moving forward with my diagnosis. For anyone unsure whether this is the right step for them I would strongly recommend you pick up the phone and make an appointment! You won't regret it.
