MEL Science has been great for my kids. But only are the kits well put together, but there is a ton of cool suplemental material online that provides additional explanation and activities to try. We had a blast with MEL!

MEL Science was a godsend during the pandemic. We could still provide a science class the kids enjoyed while being at home. All 3 kids (ranging from 8-12) all enjoyed it!

Our family had a great time with the Mel Chemistry kits! It was an awesome opportunity for dad to connect and bond with kids while teaching something that everyone enjoyed. The kids looked forward to a new experiment each month!

Mel science is amazing! My kids (ages 9 and 11) look forward to getting the kit each month. We talk about what processes are happening and it gets them thinking about other reactions we can make.

We were homeschooling up until now but since my son is going to public school they will have the labs at school. The material and labs were really great with MEL!

It was a great program, the science kits are well organized and ready to go. It was a great year and we can’t wait to do it again in a few years with our growing children.

The monthly science experiments really helped my 8 year old grandson during the year away from school during covid! He really looked forward to them! Thanks so much for helping him keep up with science during home schooling!

During the pandemic we had to homeschool 2 children (10 and 13) - for both of them the science curriculum was weak, my wife and I have both a scientific background and the MEL science kits REALLY helped us to keep the lessons interesting and interactive. The kids loved the experiments and have acquired knowledge and methodology not otherwise taught in the classroom. Very effective. Thank you!

The MEL science kits were informative and easy to use. My granddaughter was able to complete the experiments with no problem by following the provided instructions. She looked forward to her new kits each month and they certainly help her interest.

We’ve been subscribed to Mel Chemistry for a couple years now and our 12 year old daughter absolutely loves it!! It’s a great value, especially because it includes EVERYTHING you need, including a tonne of stuff to get you started, the coolest, complete experiment kits with many things you can’t just get at the store, extras (to repeat the experiment) and lots of resources to keep your kid engaged in learning. The instructions are detailed and easy to read and the videos are a great additional resource. The Mel chemistry subscription is a great value for any child (or adult!) looking to learn more about chemistry- highly recommend!

My kids loved the projects, enjoyed the time to do and learn with the kits.

My girls loved these kits! They were all different and fun ways to learn something new!

We have really enjoyed the kits, but are months behind on finishing them due to significant life changes. One thing that would be helpful with the kits is a childlike explanation of the science topics. Sometimes I’m not even sure how to explain to my kids how the science applies to life in a simple manner. Otherwise they have loved them even if we don’t always understand what’s going on. They love the wonder they experience when discovering something new.

I used MEL Science kits as part of my daughter’s homeschool science curriculum. The kits were great—everything we needed was included and the instruction cards were generally very clear. There were a couple of frustrating glitches—an electric component with a faulty connector, one leaky bottle (out of dozens and dozens)—but nothing major.

We dropped the program after a couple of years, because my daughter never got super interested and we ended up with kits piling up. I still pull the kits out once in a while, but our backlog of unused kits will probably last a year.

The kits were very enjoyed, by both kids ages 8 and 12 but with the nice weather here now, and still
being in lockdown we will be spending all free time outside.

We loved these kits and my daughter had a wonderful time completing these experiments over the past year. She is entering a school that features a rigorous STEM program and these experiments were an awesome way for her to become familiar with many materials and processes beforehand. Thanks so much for all the fun and we will definitely recommend to our friends!

So happy with this subscription! I ordered for my 12 year old and it’s a great enrichment activity and an opportunity to bond - as some of the experiments do require a bit of adult assistance/supervision. Would highly recommend it and think it is great value for the $.

Great gift idea for tweens. Our daughter is a budding scientist and these are the real deal — many levels above the baking soda and vinegar experiments. She really looks forward to them each month and it’s a nice way for her to bond with her dad (who travels a lot for work).

Great bonding experience with my 10year old. He loved it.
