I attend 2 or 3 of their auctions a year. Sometimes I buy and sometimes sell. Very professional and fair company that is why I only deal with them. I have never had a problem. For someone to say they did not know there was a 10% fee to sell with a reserve is either not truthful or totally in a brain fog. Everything they do is thoroughly explained weeks before and even that day prior to the sale or purchase.

Mecum has best Customer Service in the industry, Debbie Rowan is absolutely amazing with her personal touch of professionalism, and her way with each and every person she encounters. Want to thank Dana Meum for putting together such a fine team for such a fine event each and every year at Indy you’re the best in the business.the Auto memorabilia are some of the finest in the industry, The excitement and experience is a must go to event every year. I want to warn individuals for selling cars at Mecum. In my case, my father passed and I had seven cars in a collection to sell. Everything with Mecum as far as writing up an editorial about my father, convincing me to run them through as a collection, and photography and transportation all went very well. Where things got bad and then even worse was when it came to the money and title. All my pink slips with the required documents they requested were in Mecum's hands roughly four weeks before the auction. So I assumed everything was fine. The auction comes, each car sells, but 2 1/2 weeks after the auction I started to wonder when I would get paid. I was told by the rep that I would be paid within four weeks. When I inquired with the title department of Mecum, they didn't know who I was or where my cars were in the system. Finally after 10 minutes she comes back and says she found 3 out of the 7. There was an issue with all the titles so they said they could not pay me until they got the pink slips in my name rather than my father's. So this will delay my payments for the cars for several additional weeks. I was the worst is I found out that what Mecum does is when you see the auction price, once they hit the hammer and they're sold, they add their 10% buyers' fee which means you are not getting what shows on the screen. If you have a 10% reserve, they add a back door fee of 10% on top of that for the buyer buying your car so they are essentially getting 20% off the selling price. They never told me about the additional 10% that comes off my price. I had reserves on 4 of my cars but had I known they were going to take 20% I would never have dropped the reserves. You feel like you got ripped off righteously, so buyer and seller beware. Horrible experience and they don't tell you about the hidden fees. In my case, they waived the entry fees, the transportation fees, but now I know why they would do that because at the end, they made about 18% on some of the cars. I can't believe how sick I feel and how ripped off I feel.

I've been a buyer and a seller since 2013 and have always had an exciting and entertaining experience. It's difficult to imagine how such large events are so organized and personal. Debbie Rowan and her staff are amazing.

I have been attending Mecum auction since 2015. Debbie Rowan is my go to person for any and all information on up the coming auctions. Mecum is a family owned business. The auctions are most professional and also entertaining. They love families to attend. Dana Mecum will even let your children get involved by placing SOLD stickers on cars. For a great family experience take your family to a Mecum Auction. If you cannot attend watch on Motor Trend TV.

Mecum auction in Kissimmee is an exciting and entertaining event. The cars being auctioned are great quality.The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Kim always has a smile and is extremely knowledgeable. She handles questions in a clear concise manner.

Honestly, having dealt with Mecum Auctions for over 15 years, Debbie Rowan has been, hands down, the best concierge, customer service, and great friend ever!! She is always ensuring our complete satisfaction and makes sure every visit to the auction is a pleasurable experience. From seating, guest badges, to bidding registration, and beyond, Debbie does it right!

I have attended many auctions with the goal of being a Buyer (occasionally), a Seller (once) and a Watcher (mostly). Regardless of my purpose for attending I have ALWAYS had a most excellent experience when at a Mecum Auction, and this is predominately due to the Mecum staff. They go out of their way to be helpful, and are always friendly when so doing.

The auctions have a wide range of cars which are available in a wide range of collectability and of condition, which of course means a wide range of prices... and while it is up to us Bidders to inspect or have inspected the vehicles the Mecum people work hard to make all of the other aspects about buying/selling as easy as possible (e.g. transport; finance).

Debbie Rohan and the team at Mecum are like family. One couldn’t ask for a better classic car auction team or experience! Away to go Mecum!

Another excellent auction at Statefarm Stadium! I have never had any problems of any kind when I come to the auctions in Glendale or any others I attend. The staff is always friendly & great to visit with. I have been attending Mecum's Auctions since about 2012, in many locations around the USA, I have never had any issues at any of them. So for me, all has been a pleasure to be at. I have bought & sold a few cars, along with purchasing various roadart items thru the years with no issues at all.

I have going to Mecum auctions for a number of years. I have found all the staff to be very down to earth, professional, yet friendly, willing to help as much as possible and trying their best to either sell or help buy a car, motorcycle or a piece of Road Art. A special shout out to Debbie Rowan and her staff, as well as, the bidding assistants. This group of folks have the main contact with bidders and really do an outstanding job.

I love Mecum and what the company stands for. I often think about how such a large company can put such a personal touch on every transaction. I’m a regular customer and auction attendee. I sold a group of vehicles last year at Kissimmee. Mecum is the best venue to sell a collection and is hands-down the subject matter expert in the industry of collector cars, trucks, motorcycles or anything else related. It made things a little bit easier, and Mecum does everything it can to make you feel comfortable about letting such things live another life in the hands of someone else.

Marlene and I have been enjoying the Mecum experience for the past 10 years.we have bought or sold 34 vehicles plus a bit of road art.This is a hobby that has given me projects to keep me occupied since retirement.It started out to be a source to buy and sell my projects but has expanded into an enjoyable social experience..We have made so many friends from other bidders/sellers and the Mecum staff.whether I buy or sell doesn’t always matter. I will always enjoy reviewing the inventory ..There have been some issue regarding bought or sold vehicles but I have always been satisfied with the resolutions. The Mecum staff have ALL been friendly and helpful in many ways. The auction itself is a show of its own right..just sit back and watch the interactions among the staff and customers.Buying and selling cars is a hobby for me,I buy a memory and complete restoration then sell. About a break even point not counting my labor but I don’t have to haggle to buy or sell.simple sell with no reserve and win the bid when correct

Check in was smoth, shuttle service to front door, comfortable atmosphere, people where all friendly and helpful

All 5 Days! All event staff as well as Mecum staff seemed focused on my enjoyment!
TV fan forever.
Both experiences great.

Extremely easy process friendly staff

I have been coming to Mecum Auctions since the first one in Kisissimee, Florida in the 90’s.
Have always enjoyed them! I became a Bidder in the early 2000’s and then upgraded to a Gold bidder!
Along the way I have met so many good people that work for Mecum, starting in the administration offices to the floor people, to the auctioneers themselves!
They all make you feel you are part of the Mecum family!
But, I have to give extra accolades to two awesome helpful people!
One particular lady is Becky Delzell who works in the office! She is always helpful and just a fun person!
And the one employee who always has gone the extra mile to help my wife Donna and I is Debbie Rowan!!!
I can’t say enough about her! Helpful, understanding and truly tries to make you comfortable and satisfied with your Mecum experience!
She is a great listener and does her utmost to satisfy your requests.
I would recommend Mecum auctions over any other auction companies!!

I bought a 1951 Sunbeam motorcycle on Sept.8 2023 still have not received the title as of 3/16/24 they refunded a $1000.00 the first month for title delay I been contacting Tracy Green and Craig Mallory in the title dept. and still have not received the title its been over six months and I cant use the bike.
