Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service.
They sold me a skincare product that was due to expire one month after they sold it to me. Two template emails later, I lodged a formal complaint two weeks ago with absolutely no response. I used to love this brand for their service, but it's taken a huge dive and they've lost a loyal customer.

Never had a problem with Mecca until now I had 3 orders one turned up and they cancelled the other two without telling me and when asked they said they had permission I’m not entirely sure who by but I’m actually gutted as were in lockdown I can’t get what I need else where but to scared to order online from here again so I definitely won’t be.
keep cancelling my online order
3 times i ordered a cream online only to have my order be cancelled and no notification of it. need to wait 20mins on the phone for the customer service help to tell me that i need to spend probably an hour and send my ID to prove the order is not fradulent. i always order online and never have issues. guess you have enough business to care about new customers

I recently purchased a mascara from this company. When it arrived it was ridiculously over packaged in paper and a box 230x 170 x120.
You would imagine that if a company takes the time to do this then they would possibly take the time to make sure that the product is not faulty.
My mascara was bone dry!
When I telephoned to complain I got told to take the parcel to the post office with the reply paid label they would send. Also could I take a picture of the product to email to them. When I pointed out that a picture would tell the. Nothing, I was asked if I could take a video.I had already explained that I am a senior pensioner and that the post office is not close but it
Seems to me that in this day and age the customer had to do all the work for the company that has sent out faulty goods.
Now I have to get someone to run me to the post office and wait another 12 days at least before they get it and then process a refund.

Happy with customer service
received an order of skin care products. In a Kiehls duo set I purchased the eye cream was missing. I sent a few emails and called customer service asking for my missing item or a refund. Reading the reviews on mecca's customer service I did not think the matter was going to be resolved. Whilst it took around 4 days, I did receive a reply offering for my missing item to be sent to me or a full refund. Within 5 minutes or less of my reply with my request they sent an email confirming the product was being sent to me attached with a tracking number. I'm happy with the outcome. I'm definitely confident to order with mecca again.

The worst online brand ever
The worst online brand ever. They only want your money. I would rather buy things from Sephora or their vendors directly any day. These guys took my money and never delivered the package. Took me 12 calls and counting to get them to look at my package and no resolution from them. They took 14 days and counting for a package on express delivery and when I asked for compensation of my time, effort and calling, they shut me out. Spend your money on better brands and people not incompetent services like Mecca. Shame on you.

I have been a customer at mecca for years and unfortunately got sick and couldn’t make an appointment I called and called no answer then the day came I didn’t arrive (after calling more) and spoke to someone I had cold flu symptoms and had to get a covid test so couldn’t come in to get my products by law. A manager said she rescheduled my appointment due to the circumstances but there’s no appointment anywhere I am beyond upset and pls contact me if this is the outcome I will never be returning to Mecca . Disgusting customer service to say the least

Pretty disgusted by my treatment at Mecca Bondi Junc. Having explained what I was looking for, and having spent time with Indy, who seemed very helpful, another customer arrived and demanded Indy. Instead of asking her to wait, I was fobbed off to another sales person whilst Indy disappeared to her new customer! Rather than embark on another long winded explanation, I left and spent my money elsewhere. I won't go there again as they are clearly operating a two tier system, some customers are more important than others. BIG mistake Mecca!

Really fast and easy
Really fast and easy. They are quick at suggesting the correct items on their online chat. Only fault i can suggest is that they have a better voucher system. I was given a voucher but could not find it under my purchase history or email so it was a struggle to find for a while
A terrible experience
A terrible experience. Ordering from the UK, I wanted to amend the delivery packaging as the item was a gift, switching from sustainable to signature packaging. Transacting as a guest there was no way to cancel and reorder until Mecca's customer service came online, by which point the order had been shipped. Like I say, a terrible experience. I'd actively encourage you to look elsewhere.

This is an absolute joke! i made an order and after confirmation saw the address was set to the wrong state. Called them immediately & did everything they told me to do to ensure i’ll get the order & it still went to the wrong person. They said there’s nothing they can do even though the customer service team said this happens often & will be resolved often. NOW THEY WONT REFUND ME AND ARE SAYING ITS MY FAULT !
