Disgusting wait times from the warehouse dispatching can’t even cancel your order.
I ordered July 13th it’s now July 24th no items.
I can’t even change it to click and collect which would’ve been the best solution because these products are not something we want, It’s something that we use and need so if I order moisturiser I don’t wanna wait three weeks for it because I’ve run out so now I should go to the store buy the items and also still wait for the product to come in the mail ridiculous you should’ve organise this to go to the stores for click and collect end of story it’s ridiculous or let us cancel. Not happy
They Messed Up with my Shipping Address…
They messed up with my shipping address - my order got sent to a same street address but in a different suburb - this has never happened to me before. Contacted the customer service - they wanted me to prove that I have entered the correct address myself, I forwarded them the order confirmation email with the receipt that's got my correct address on. I have not heard back from them. Tried contacting customer service again, waited for 20min, no one answered.

Absolutely disappointed with the customer service of this company. Due to a warehouse upgrade all orders are delayed by a further 10 business days. Not only can you not cancel the order after not being told there is a delay but you also can’t change it to click and collect either. For an order that hasn’t even been dispatched. That I was told won’t be dispatched for another 10 business days. Literally spent so much money on products that won’t arrive in more than 3 weeks. Something that should have arrived in 4-5 days and there’s absolutely itching customer service can do. Do not waste your time with this company. Once an order is placed that’s it! Who knows when you’ll get what you ordered and there’s no way of cancelling it

Store is so focused on being inclusive they have lost site they are a beauty industry and don’t train staff like they use to.

I usually enjoy shopping at Mecca online. Great products, fast delivery. Perfect...but..
Placed two orders in June. The site mentioned a longer wait for dispatch than usual. As I have always enjoyed speedy delivery I mentally calculated an extra week until my goodies would be in hand.
Weeks later ( today) I received an email saying they are sorry but they don't even have my items in stock and here's a refund ( and only sent back half the money thus far).
Weeks after the order!
The other order has been sent- finally.
I now find myself out of products, out of pocket and out of trust in regards to Mecca.
( oh, they offered a $20 voucher- on goods they possibly can't deliver)

Not only did they demand an unusually invasive proof of purchase (driver's license and a utilities bill? Why? The items weren't being delivered to my house but to a family member's), they eventually cancelled the order - one week after ordering - because the items I'd ordered were 'out of stock' - despite them being listed as very much in stock at the time of purchase.
Definitely avoid buying from this company.

I ordered an eyeshadow and eye-liner. based on fast shipping for an event. Eye shadow was $94. It has now been more than two weeks and the product hasn't even been packed ready for shipping. The event has passed. I contacted Mecca for a refund and although they still cannot tell me when the item will be dispatched, they have flat out refused a refund, instead said I will get an email "when it is ready for shipping". They said if I am not happy I can ship it back to them (at my cost) for a credit when recieved, despite it not leaving the warehouse yet. There was nothing about delayed shipping during the checkout process or in the order confirmation email. Unacceptable. Will shop direct with suppliers in future.
Disappointing Customer Service
I ordered few Charlotte Tilbury products, which i usually order through Charlotte’ official website. Mecca allowed me to click and collect and Eastland store, but going there i got to know they are out of stock and i can only pick up half stock. They manager said she is unable to contact customer service team by phone, and that i will definitely receive the email about the refund of my items not received. I waited for a day and didn’t receive any email. I am now on call to see whats happening with my paid order and am on phone for last 35 mins and haven’t been picked.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE RECEIVED FAULTY ITEM
I ordered the RMS brow powder only to receive it in faulty condition, the packaging of the product was cracked in many places and when contacting customer service about this issue they were NOT helpful and so careless — refusing to help me and instead making me return it to a store or to send it back in order to get a refund. I am not going to go out of my way and waste an entire trip to a store or post office etc just to get a refund for an error made on Mecca’s side — they sent me a faulty item that wasn’t in good brand new condition and should’ve found a mutual way to properly and easily reconcile the issue without causing more inconveniences for their customer to deal with. Especially when mentioning to them that I needed this item urgently for my wedding and the last thing I need is to waste my time to fix something caused by Mecca only to have them not be helpful whatsoever and just copying and pasting the same response back to me each time and the lack of care in each response was just extremely poor. Mecca use to provide the highest customer service and care many years ago, now they’re just unprofessional and careless. Terrible experience from beginning to end.

I ordered some perfume and eyebrow gel (also getting my beauty box with it) it should of been here on the 2/5/23. It is now lost/stolen and they are excepting me to wait until its located or confirmed as lost.
I have asked if they can just cancel that order resend me a new one but they cant do this, I have to wait for it be be confirmed (and if it is they will honour my beauty box). The online chat service has been terrible, not interested in helping and I have asked for a call back from a Manager and no one does.
I have been a loyal customer for years but after this I think I might shop somewhere else.

DDG aha/bha peels so far so good. I noticed tiny changes on my pigments & I was impressed. I have so much pigments that it will be awhile till I c results.
As for the beauty loop, mecca is expensive, so pls mecca keep it @ the level without resetting if not used within that year, IMO it should'nt be like that.
Faulty PERFUME with no assistance
I feel horrible that I’m leaving this review as I am an avid Mecca shopper. I have faulty perfume (does not spritz) that only exclusively Mecca stocks I spoke to online customer service who had advised I come into store and staff will replace or fix. I did just that whilst also buying another $270 fragrance and I have left with little to no help or explanation on how I can use or fix my fragrance. The lady assisting could acknowledge the fragrance was faulty and it wasn’t good enough but some how her hands were tied on assisting any further. I don’t even want a replacement just for my product to be used as I intended I was happy with any solution that could have been offered but there was none. Only that I should break the bottle and place in plastic travel bottle. Super disappointed and left sad.
MECCA Scam or just plain bad customer service?
I hav been purchasing skin care and make up products form Mecca for some time now and have always had a great instore service.However, this past week I did an online order for my regular makeup items as due to work commitments I was unable to visit in store. My order went through and was on it's way. Then I received an email from Mecca stating my order was flagged as possible fraudulent I they needed me to send through a copy of my Photo ID and electricity and Gas Bill. Needless to say this flagged me as being suspicious and I was certainly not sending these details through. A few day later I check on my order and it was in transit. By the next day it was cancelled. When I tried to call Mecca I could not speak to any one and had to do an online chat, which I was told I would receive a refund but this shall take up to 10 Business days to go through. NOT good enough MECCA and certainly not a great way to get customers! you have lost me!

Went to Mecca in Sorrento today. All staff where welcoming and happy. Service was great. The product that I was after was explained perfectly. I always thought Mecca was a younger girls store ( I am 53) but I will definitely be back. Andrea
Great customer service
Today I tag along with some friends to visit Mecca store at Eastgardens where they want to try out new products, we were welcome by a friendly and professional staff member by the name Maire. She is very helpful and patience with us explaining the difference with your skincare and make up range. At the end, I ended up spending $200 on make up with no intention of buying in the first place.. Maire is very good salesperson :-) I'm a first time user of Mecca products.

Utterly senseless customer service !
Utterly senseless customer service. Bought a gift on click and collect but as I live overseas arranged for a courier to collect it as knew their service would deliver in time (if at all). While their website states if you have someone to collect on your behalf they have to have a copy of the confirmation email with the reference number and ID. Naturally, in 2023 courier companies booked online as they require don't have a 'send us your email confirmation which we will print out and call in our driver to collect so he can pick your gift from Mecca- or any store for that matter!! - service!! So while the driver did have the booking reference number the store manager not only didn't ask for it, or his ID - she simply turned him away!! It then cost me over £100 in phone calls to the manager, courier company and Mecca customer service to then get the gift collected and delivered for the Valentines Day surprise.
What I would like to know MECCA is... HOW MANY COURIER COMPANIES DO YOU KNOW OF THAT INTERCEPT PEOPLE'S ONLINE BOOKINGS TO KNOW WHEN AND WHAT TO COLLECT ON OTHER PEOPLE'S BEHALF.
To improve your customer service why not hire some people who 1. have a brain and can think strategically and logically 2.understand all types of logical customer journey's. #itsnotrocketscience !
I use to love Mecca
I use to love Mecca, their products and in store customer service. Now I don’t feel the same way. Last couple of times I entered the store to purchase something, staff aren’t as friendly or helpful. Over a week ago I applied for their Talent Acquisition Manager role and was rejected with an email stating
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have put recruitment for this role on hold for now” meaning no thanks we don’t need you. Looking at their website just now and the role is still available. Why can’t you just be honest and state you weren’t going further with my application like any other organisation. No thanks. Won’t bother with the entire company ever again.

I recieve it in the mail today 16 Feb. I didn't get any e-mail from them after I'd ordered the produce so I thought I'd list my money. Thank you MECCA. I haven tried the scrub yet.
