NEGATIVE STARS (if this were possible!!) Worst experience.....steer well clear!!
Maxxia has been an absolute disgrace throughout the entire process of "managing" our 6 month lease extension. It took three months for them to start taking deductions, despite our multiple phone calls to have this investigated. We then needed to increase the deductions to cover the missed ones, and they took months again to start taking the correct increased deductions.
Then, just one month before the lease extension ended, we received an aggressive phone call from some random Maxxia employee we’d never spoken to before, demanding we increase deductions even further to pay the arrears off over only 4 weeks, threatening us with internal debt collectors, even though their delays caused the issue and we notified Maxxia many times (via e-mail and phone calls) that this was a concern.
We finally lodged a complaint with AFCA. This got Maxxia moving a little, but still not efficiently enough to amend the problems. Their "Resolutions Specialist", was completely unhelpful, uninformed, and gave us further wrong information. Maxxia even took out another deduction despite claiming the previous one was the last, then claimed we were still in arrears - when in reality, Maxxia now owes us money!! We won’t hold our breath waiting for the refund, and we will take it further if they don’t.
Their “Customer Advocate” was equally useless. He promised to complete a full investigation but never followed up on our concerns at all and was uncontactable via phone and returned only one e-mail, telling us we just had to increase the deductions to cover the arrears (this after telling him already that we had asked Maxxia already to do this and pay after pay the increase in deductions were not occurring!)
The Maxxia “consultants” involved in the initial lease extension would not give us the time of day nor would they assist when it became clear there were issues when the initial setup occurred (we later found out, through US having to investigate ourselves, that our salary packing provider through our employer was never notified by Maxxia......hence the no deductions!), and would just palm us off to other departments. Clearly, they want nothing more to do with you once they have got you to sign the dotted line.
Maxxia takes no ownership of their mistakes whatsoever, lacks any ability to manage situations and requests competently, and shows no respect for their customers. Zero integrity by any of their staff.
We’ve cancelled our new car order with them and bought out our vehicle (selling it with a great profit mind you, so they actually did us a favour in the long run!) and switched to Smart Salary, even though it means waiting longer for the new vehicle. Purely to avoid the constant stress, frustration and anxiety of dealing with Maxxia.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear of Maxxia. They are hopeless, disrespectful, and frankly, incompetent.
