I am writing regarding the air duct cleaning service performed at my home on yesterday Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the work. The technicians did not use any vacuum equipment during the cleaning process, which I understand is necessary for effective removal of dust and debris. Additionally, the washing machine duct was not cleaned at all, despite this being an important part of proper duct maintenance.As a result, I am concerned that the service did not meet professional standards or address the issues I needed fixed. I respectfully request that you review the cleaning process used and arrange for a more thorough cleaning, including vacuuming and attention to all ducts in the home.Please respond as soon as possible so we can resolve this matter.

Our technicians did use our standard professional equipment during your service, including a truck-mounted negative air system and high-pressure air tools, which operate from outside the home. This can make it seem like no vacuum was used indoors, even though the system is running.

The washer/dryer vent is a separate service and was not included in the original work order, but we’re happy to help with that if needed.

It's a scam, don't fall in trap of low cost or 50% off

After seeing the response I tried calling you at 866-716-2836 from my wife’s number this morning. Someone named William answered but immediately disconnected the call as soon as I mentioned that I was calling about the issue with the job that was done.

Now, it seems my wife’s number is also blocked, just like mine.

This is definitely a scam, and I suspect that many of the positive reviews you see here may be fake. Please be cautious if you’re considering using their services.

I am planning to file a formal complaint with the FTC and the Consumer Protection Division to help ensure that no one else falls into this trap

I decided to go with them based on all the positive reviews here. However, my experience turned out to be a scam. Please stay away from them.

The service was very poor. None of the vents were properly opened; they only vacuumed from outside over the flap. The dryer vent was barely touched with the brush at the exit point. When I asked a couple of times, the technician told me it wasn't necessary because lint only gets stuck at the exit end.

After the technician left, I cleaned the dryer vent myself, and I was shocked at how much lint came out. I sent them a picture of the lint, but received no response. I realize it's a scam when tried calling them, no one picked up the phone later found the they blocked my number.

Never pay them in cash, always use a credit card so you can block or dispute the transaction if needed. My advice to stay away at all costs

Excellent experience from start to finish. The technicians wore shoe covers, protected my floors, and left everything spotless when they finished. My dryer vent works better now, and the airflow in my home has definitely improved.

They’re scammers. Don’t fall for it.

Update: in response to Maven’s reply of being unable to locate any appointment or service history under my name - I have multiple text messages and an extensive call history from 866-716-2836. You guys blocked my number after I followed up on the missing before & after video, the mold inspection report, AC quality check report, and the other concerns I addressed - so obviously I can’t call you directly for you to address my concerns - if you’re blatantly ignoring my concerns.

The last call I had I recorded my conversation with Mark and he’s calling me a b!t&? and a who!e asking me if I want to come over and please him. This company is FAKE it’s FRAUD THEYRE INDIAN SCAMMERS AND PUT A BAD REPUTATION TO INDIAN PEOPLE.

They’ll send “technicians” to your house to blow air through your vents and pretend that they’re doing something - It should be a 4 hour job but they’re done in 30 minutes and rush for cash or a Zelle payment in an urgency to leave. They tell you they’ll email you the videos, pictures, and reports the next day, and when you don’t hear from them and follow up, they ignore you, tell you they’ll call you back, make up a bunch of BS stories and then block your number so you can’t reach them.

Their company is based out of someone’s home in Kentucky but somehow they sent a random stranger to my home in VA.

Very dangerous and strange behavior. These guys need to get exposed.

I would not recommend Maven AirCare

The appointment was scheduled on Facebook and was confirmed through text at 866-716-2836. They arrived 3 hours late. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received from Maven AirCare. Maven AirCare advertised a local company based in Boston, MA, but the team that arrived was from Gondal HVAC LLC in Derry, NH, and this discrepancy was not made clear to me. Not only did they fail to clean the return vents as promised, but they also claimed to have done so. Their hasty exit, leaving behind their vacuum in my basement, and they asked me for a tip (money). They contacted me at 11 p.m. to retrieve their vacuum.

When I sent Maven AirCare this message on Facebook, Maven AirCare blocked my Facebook.

When I messaged Maven AirCare at 866-716-2836, Maven AirCare blocked my phone number.

I don't understand why a business keeps blocking customers when they don't do a good job, instead of resolving the issue.

You charged me $250 for cleaning the supply vents and returns vents, $100 for cleaning the AC furnace, and $75 for cleaning the dryer vent. They demanded tips, so obligated to leave them $10 tips. I paid a total of $435.

I have a total of 8 vents. They cleaned 6 of the 8 vents. They did not clean the 2 return vents. I would like to have a partial refund on this service charge due to the incomplete service provided.

They did not clean the AC furnace. What they did was circle the air compressor around my furnace, and all the dust was flying over my basement. After they left all the dust settled on the floor. No vacuum afterward. My furnace and the area around the furnace are full of dust right now. I would like to have a full refund for this service which is $100. There is no cleaning service provided there.

Awesome crew of two . Very kind to explain things to us (twice). Very fast … courteous . Gave us couple of options to consider for a later time . Explained how things work which was very helpfull.
That pokeman card he pulled out of the vent and kept on the table for me … was so weird looking that I asked what is it . That’s going in my personal journal .

Maven Air Care sent a reply and said someone would be in contact. As of today, (5 days later) I have not heard from anyone.
I had Maven Air Care come out to my house and clean two of our systems and they taught me into installing UV lights in both systems with a guarantee to replace bulbs.Should anything happen to them. In less than 2 weeks when Bob went out.I've been contacting the company by phone and email.They will not return calls or emails. I've contacted the installers by phone and email, they will not return calls.Or emails. Beware of using this company.It seems that they only do the sales and no service and no follow up after the sale.

Upcharge warning

They came out and cleaned my ducts and did a good job with that. Found mold in my furnace and AC unit during the inspection. Told me they would take care of it for $750 more and install and UV system. Very unhappy to find out most others quoted me about $400 less to do the service. Lesson learned for me but when you consider using them, please keep this in mind for yourself!!

Employee try to sell me product I don't need, I told him, do your work, I don't need extra product, walk out in my house without finish what l call him to do. Terrible job.

Scammers!! Fraudsters!

Total fraudsters!! Scammers!! Stay Away!! Extremely disappointed and feeling robbed. Do not fall for their false internet Ads and offers. Ivan and Anthony showed up and took my hard earned $900 cash. Did not do any duct cleaning for which I called them. Instead talked me into installing UV light, useless crap, and for doing some paint work. Left the job in between, took full payment promising a follow up to finish the paint work, which never happened. More than a month have passed and someone named Brian, who picks up at (866) 716-2836 have even blocked all my phone numbers - now I am unable to call (866) 716-2836. You will be far better off paying a bit more and getting work done by a proper local US company. None of them are from US, and do not deliver even 10% of what they commit. Stay Away!!

If you want to pay more...

My wife and I hired Maven Air Care to clean our vents after replacing our roof. While the service was on the expensive side, we were willing to pay for peace of mind. Unfortunately, the experience has been anything but that.

During the cleaning, they ripped up our ducting, causing significant damage. Since then, we’ve made multiple calls and sent messages asking them to come out and at least look at the issue, but we’ve been completely ignored.

To understand the extent of the damage, we had three other reputable companies inspect our system, and all of them estimated the repairs to cost between $2,500–$3,000.

It’s incredibly disappointing to have to write this review. Had Maven Air Care been willing to work with us, I believe we could have found a solution. Instead, we’ve been left with damaged ductwork, ignored messages, and a hefty repair bill. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

Does not honor any warranty

When it came time to turn on A/C one of my ducts would not blow air. I contacted the company numerous times and they never contacted me. I filed a complaint with BBB, which they disputed instead of trying to work it out with their customer. I would not recommend this company as they do not honor any warranty of their work. I have waited all this time hoping that they would provide good customer service. They have not.

It's amazing how a review will get a company's attention (below). Their response, however, is insulting. On my receipt I was given an email address that I could contact for any warranty issues. I sent multiple emails over a 1 month period with no reply (maybe they don't like to put things in writing?). I have no record of any texts or phone calls from this company. You would think that if there was no response maybe verifying the number or trying a different (email) contact method? I also put a review on their facebook page which the took down immediately after my post instead of reaching out to me.

What is interesting is that I was finally contacted by the technician 12/8 by text (so they DID have the right number) to schedule. And this response of theirs just came 12/16. So obviously one hand has no idea what the other is doing.

It is sad that after emails, voice mails, Facebook posts, and reviews over an 8 month period, they finally contacted me. But thanks to Trustpilot they will come out this week and address my issues. I will update this review then.

Impressive Service with a Personal Touch

We had jason king and another gentleman come today to clean our air ducts. we have never had this done at any house we have owned. jason was timely and professional with his communication. he was punctual. they were neat and very considerate polite and pleasant. they took their work very seriously, explaining things. they could see my mom is elderly and went above and beyond to make thing easy to work around her. my husband and i were both thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and especially their kindness

Maven Air Care's Outstanding Duct Cleaning and Dryer Vent Service

This company was referred to us for duct cleaning as we recently moved into this home. anthony and isaiah worked the entire time they were here. they were efficient, took great care with everything they touched in our home, very professional, and did an amazing job. we also had our dryer vent cleaned at the same time. it was obvious the previous owner never had this done-it was very dirty. they went above and beyond in working with the riser for the dryer so the job would be done right. they also cleaned up everything before they left. all this was done at a very fair price. this wasn't our first experience with duct cleaning (previous home), and we happily recommend Maven Air Care for your duct cleaning and dry vent needs

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service! These guys asked us what time we wanted service done. Told them 11am. They said not a problem and they could do that. They actually couldn't do 11am but could do 1pm. My wife agreed but told them we had obligations and service needed to be completed by 2pm. They guaranteed service to be completed by 2pm. Day of service no one showed up at 1pm. When I called to ask where the techs were they had no idea. At 130pm the techs called and said they wouldn't be there until 2pm. We had to cancel the service. When I called the office to find out what happened Ryan just argued with me that they couldn't actually guarantee anything even though we have text messages of him doing just that. Not a sorry this happened. No attempt to reschedule us. Ryan just argued that he was right regardless of what his texts said. When I told him I would be placing a review about his customer service he said 1 out of 500 reviews won't hurt us and hung up.

When you initially scheduled your appointment, you requested a morning time slot. We informed you that we confirm specific appointment times the day before the scheduled service, as we did in this case. The day before your appointment, we provided a service window between 1 PM and 3 PM, and your wife mentioned that you needed to leave by 3 PM. We assured you that our technicians would do their best to arrive as early as possible.

Unfortunately, on the day of your appointment, our technicians were delayed at a previous customer’s home due to an unexpected issue with the customer's payment, which caused our team to be delayed. We understand that our technicians contacted you around 1:30 PM to inform you of their anticipated arrival at 2 PM. At that time, you requested to cancel the appointment as you needed the service to be completed by 2 PM.

Regarding the call with our manager, Ryan, it’s important to note that the conversation escalated due to the use of inappropriate language by Tim. While we strive to handle all customer concerns professionally, our company policy requires our team members to maintain a respectful dialogue. Ryan did his best to explain that while we aim to meet our customers' expectations, unforeseen circumstances can occur, particularly when human beings are involved, such as delays on the road or issues with the equipment.

Ryan apologized multiple times during the call and reminded you that leaving a review is your right, just as it is our responsibility to provide our perspective on the matter. We also informed you that all calls are recorded, and we are transparent about our interactions.

We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out to us.
