A young girl in our group went for a pedicure and was left unable to walk. She has blisters the width of each foot from brushes applied to feet that had been left soaking in hot water. The hotel's response has been appalling. She received no apology and they even charged her for the treatment blaming her for having soft feet. Stay away from treatments and if anything happens at the Manor don't expect any help or customer service.

I have stayed at the resort twice to play tennis and am familiar with its chaotic layout and slightly grubby, homespun charm. On this occasion Jan 31st 2025 I did not get to enjoy a stay.

So I returned home on a three-hour journey.
The chaos now extends to the front desk.

Great place on edge of Dartmoor, so much to do will be going back. Good value for the amount of activities you can do particularly loved the hydrotherapy pools, swimming pool as all lovely and warm. First night entertainment not so good but better on second night but everywhere was clean and comfortable a bit dated but it is an old Manor so can be expected. Staff helpful and polite, food was great catered for everyone's tastes. Will be visiting again. Also is not weather dependent for many of the activities.

After our 14th year visiting Asbury minus 2 for the pandemic our recent stay earlier this month was the first time i have needed to wright a bad review. This year as usual the accommodation and food standards were as always good. Unfortunately the golf courses were not up to their usual standards. The first cut of rough was too long and the rough on each course was left with grass cuttings all over which rotted and made it difficult to find balls. Grass cuttings should not be left to rot
