EU Roaming Fail!
I am using Lyca Mobile’s Ireland Plus 12M plan, but cannot access roaming data while I am now in Hungary. I had to spend additional money to get the EU Roaming Pass S for the data to work on my phone. What a ripoff!

Overall, acceptable
Overall, I’m satisfied with the performance of my LycaMobile plan, which I bought on a recent trip to the Republic of Ireland. It provided the coverage I was looking for at a low price, with the disappointing exception of dropping out completely when I crossed into Northern Ireland for one day, forcing me to resort to analog navigation instead with no access to data.
Upon my return home, I was able to cancel my plan with relative ease. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it through Lycamobile’s App or website. Still, LycaMobile’s support staff answered my email request within a couple of days, and followed through with my cancellation after we exchanged a couple of messages. The support staff were rotating, meaning that a different staff member answered each of my messages. I find this support setup disorienting. For an improved customer experience, I’d recommend that each staff member be kept on the same client ticket until it’s resolved, after which a new ticket can replace it.
