A memorable day on a memorable train with superb staff. It was a perfect journey with many extras that were not expected. The food was excellent and perfectly served and presented. Our comfortable chairs gave us a great view of the passing countryside. The route map helped to tell us where we were on our journey. I will return for more trips. Well done British Pullman!!

An absolutely wonderful experience, taking the Pullman train and then having a gorgeous few hours at Gusbourne Winery, exploring the vineyard and with wine tasting (and cheese!). Lucy at Luxury Train Tickets couldn't have been more helpful. A wonderful day, would thoroughly recommend!

The Pullman experience was amazing. The cars were beautiful, the service was outstanding and the food and champagne were excellent. It was a great full day experience where you could relax and have a great time throughout. The booking process was also very smooth.

Wow. What an amazing service from Carol at Luxury Train tickets. We had the British Pullman day trip experience and she supported us throughout even after payment so did not just disappear once we paid which was a relief as never dealt with them before.

From the very beginning until we pulled back into London, this was an experience we will never forget. Even booking was easy! But the best part was arriving at the station and being greeted and from that moment on, the train, the food - everything was top notch. We took our train to Highclere Castle where Downton Abbey is filmed and everything was timed perfectly and enjoyable beyond our expectations. We are hoping to do this again sometime. Thank you!

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. It was a present from our children for our birthdays.
We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived at the Pullman reception at Victoria Station until we arrived home that night. In the luxury train we were sitting with our friends which was very important as we were able to chat with each other on the journey. They too had the most amazing day.
The staff were very friendly and polite at all times and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The food to and from Highclere was absolutely delicious.
Our visit to the castle was breathtaking. We were shown around all the main rooms and it was finished off with a visit to the garden shop and complimentary tea/coffee and cookies on the lawn.
We couldn’t recommend the whole experience enough and we would like to thank Carol for all her attention to detail and also for making sure everything was in place.

A day out we will certainly remember forever.
From the arrival at Victoria station to our return the journey to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) and tour was absolutely wonderful. The booking was easy and seamless, all my questions answered fully and in a timely fashion. We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday and on the day our carriage (Perseus) was luxury personified. Beautiful marquetry panels and mosaics on the walls and impeccable service from Thomas throughout the day.
The transfers from the train to Highclere and the tours were well organised with great attention to detail.
A possible improvement could be the meeting area at Victoria station it can be very busy early morning with regular commuters and holiday makers. The train itself was stunningly beautiful with excellent food and service. A truly special day for my wife’s birthday.

The whole process from booking through to the actual trip, which was beyond amazing, was totally seamless. Lucy was so helpful and on the day all the staff at Belmond Pullman were simply wonderful. I would recoemmend Luxury Train Tickets and this trip unreservedly.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, during the trip they were quick to answer questions and always on hand to help with anything, nothing was to much trouble. The carriages we travelled in were spotless and tables all layed out as a 1st class travel experience should be. The food was excellent no issues with quality or service, everything well presented.

The only negative wasn't really with the Train experience itself but with the transfer from coach back onto the train at Victoria Station, London. As it was so busy at the station our group got somewhat broken up as we all walked to what we thought was our platform, The group at the front got the correct platform but around 30 of the group went to the wrong platform and was lost, it took about 10 minutes to find the correct platform as the Company Reps were at the correct platform...a representative should have stayed at the back guiding us in the right direction...it was a minor blip though and did not detract or ruin the experience. I would recommend to anybody to go on one of these experiences you won't be disappointed, it is a long day but very worthwhile and pleasant...hats off to all the Team!!..💜

We were on the Phil Howard culinary train journey on 22/5/25 and from the moment we stepped on the train the whole thing was an utter delight . Setting , staff, service , quality of the food , live jazz band - ALL absolutely excellent . The only thing that lacked a little atmosphere was the Reception room where everyone gathered before boarding .. hard to pin down but something additional to a welcome drink required to bring it to life.

We booked the train to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and it did not disappoint. We were greeted on the platform as we approached with smiles and directions. I was impressed that they learnt and remembered our names. The food and accompanying wines were delicious. Initially, this was supposed to be a once in a lifetime booking, however we had such a wonderful and thinking of making another booking in the future.

A day out we’ll remember forever.
From start to finish the Moving Mystery was wonderful. The booking was easy and seamless, all my questions answered fully and in a timely fashion. On the day we arrived at Victoria Station in plenty of time though were unsure where to go. My only suggestion would be signage of some description or details on the tickets of where to go, it’s a big station. Anyway, once we got to the right place we were looked after impeccably. The train itself was beyond words, stunningly beautiful and being able to travel on it was a privilege. The food was wonderful, acting flawless and attention to detail by train staff perfect. Trying to solve the mystery was fun and just added to an already perfect day.

The booking was easy and the person I spoke to was very helpful and informative. Even helping with dietary requirements. The ladies singing on the platforms and in the team was lovely, an added bonus. Would definitely recommend others to use The Luxury Train company
