Hardwood cill lengths
I ordered 2 X 2.1m lengths of hardwood cill to repair a porch, price was very good,only concern was delivery time when I checked out! I emailed to see what they could do,I had a phone call the following morning which said they would deliver within 2 days, amazing service,arrived well packaged. When your order was placed on 2nd September, it looks as though there was an error made when entering your email address which is why you didn't receive your automated order confirmation email from us. When you emailed us on Tuesday 5th September, a member of our Sales Team recognised this and updated your email address immediately.
We then responded to your enquiry straight away and confirmed the delivery date for your order.

The current lead time on all orders is from 3-18 working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Your order is being ready within 3 working days.

We can see that your order was placed on 20th July and then dispatched on 27th July ready for delivery with our courier. When orders are dispatched an automated email is sent straight away and depending on which courier is used, the tracking information is provided within the email. In your case, your tracking number was included within your dispatch email.
We apologise sincerely that delivery was attempted before the scheduled delivery date, but as nobody was available at the property at the time of delivery, the courier delivered your goods to a neighbour and a proof of delivery image was provided.
Another email has been sent to yourself since to confirm which neighbour your goods have been left with. If you experience any issues with locating your goods, please contact our Sales Team so that we can look into this.

When the items eventually arrived they were fine. It’s just a shame it was well outside their delivery window (3-18 working days), after they ignored my email asking when they would despatch and only once I opened a PayPal dispute.

I have used them a few times
I have used them a few times, for simple beading mostly. The product has been OK, and far better then what can be found in the big diy sheds. Price was reasonable for what I was after, oak. Delivery cost was also OK, not cheap, but given the length, 3M, to be expected. Not had any contact with customer service, so I can’t comment. The reason for one star is the time for delivery, always a month. No idea as to why, either the actual company behind the web site is one man and a dog, or, when they get an order some bloke, or these days a lady, goes looking for a tree. The other option is that they are a re seller, buying in the product as required, and are on pro form invoicing by their suppliers. I aways pay by CC, just in case. My account says we have received payment and will action your order shortly, yeh, right.

Additionally, after looking into your previous orders with us, these have also always been delivered within our stated lead time.
We do strongly advise that if orders are required urgently, that customers should contact us straight away so that we can schedule the earliest available delivery date.
