Don't Love Rugs.
I purchased a rug from this Company in January but I never got it out of the packaging until my room was finished in March..
I noticed the next day after laying it that it had quite a big snag on it and there were defects in the stitching around the edges.
I emailed Love Rugs and sent pictures but was confronted with the wonderful Eddie Reid who apparently is the Customer Service and Operations person..
Immediately he was on the defence saying that there was some debri on the rug trying to imply that I had had the rug down longer than I had said..
Eddie said that it was too late to do anything as it was past 28 days of owning the rug but I reminded him of my Consumer Rights of Repair or Replace..
Eddie was rude and passive aggressive throughout our emails which made me feel he must be short in Stature..
Eventually Eddie agreed to replace the rug but wanted to collect the faulty rug first then order a replacement and then deliver it..
I said that that was unacceptable for me as I have quarry tiles throughout my cottage and couldn't be left with bare floors for all of that time..
I asked if the faulty rug could be picked up at the same time as delivering the replacement rug..
But no Eddie believed that I would steel the faulty rug by keeping it aswell as the new replacement rug..
Really..
I told Eddie in the end to forget it and I will keep the faulty rug as I would rather be able to leave this review about his disgraceful behaviour for other would be customers to see..
It seems if you buy a rug from this Company and you have no issues it's fine but if there are any issues that's when Customer Service towards the buyer breaks down..
I have never dealt with a company or a Customer Service representative like this before..
Shocking..
Eddie certainly seems to need an extensive training course to become more Customer Centered..
This is the first time I've ordered from this company and most definitely the last..
So just to reiterate Love Rugs is absolutely abysmal if there is an issue with rug..
Buyers beware.

Easy ordering system and fully kept up to date about delivery etc. Due to being away the item wasn’t sent until we’d returned, so full marks for excellent customer service. The rug ordered is great quality and as described, would certainly recommend.

Received rug a month later than indicated at time of order
Ordered a rug that said new stock expected in 5 days time. 3 weeks later, with no sign of the rug and no communication from the company I sent an email to follow up. I was advised that the stock had been delayed. I eventually received the rug a month after expected. The rug itself is great quality and good value for money. However the communication should have been better.

Returning an itme is a hassle
The rug was delivered promptly and in good condition. However the color was different to the online image, and I decided to return it. Just be warned that Love-Rugs does not provide collection and that the cost of the courier is between £20-30 or more depending on size and location. I think the company need to highlight what exactly a return entails on their website

Great Company to deal with & 5 star customer service
Great selection of rugs at competitive prices. What sets this company apart is their level of customer service and the fact you can liaise, (either by phone or email), with an actual human being!! I had an issue with the courier company regarding delivery of one of my rugs - Eddie at Love-Rugs stepped in and helped facilitate so all resolved satisfactorily. Brilliant.....and Eddie is a star!

I have ordered a rug on 27 the December…
I have ordered a rug on 27 the December from the Love-Rugs website and it supposed to arrive within 5 working days but unfortunately I still waiting for it. I was needed for my son birthday party but I haven’t received it yet which really disappointed.
I have tried to contact them but no response

Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful . My rug has been on the floor for three months and become extremely baggy. Asked for help got zero, I was told it was just a cheap rug for its size and to contact my “beloved” trading standards (whom I’d already contacted) I actually can’t believe it. Would never recommend this company; the customer service advisor was shocking and the way he spoke to me was awful!!!!
RESPONSE TO THE TRADERS RESPONSE TO THE BELOW
On the 5th email photographs were requested from me . Had they been requested at the beginning they would have been sent.
A repair was never offered because you would not pay the shipping costs and I was told by yourselves that the supplier said “it was not worth their time” to inspect it and at that point a replacement or refund was offered. This was on the second to last email sent.I accepted the refund. Had the customer service been appropriate, I would have accepted a replacement.
The rug had been in use for three months and in a non high traffic area. I would not call it a “gesture of good will”. Is that what consumers can expect? To buy a rug for £150 and then you can only use it for three months?
As I say it’s a faulty rug it’s gone all baggy on one side but is perfect on the other. The rug has only ever been hoovered the same as every other rug and I’ve had no issues with them.
As I say you can have the rug back it will only be going in the bin, but you won’t pay the shipping costs so what else can I do?
I wanted the rug inspected and trading standards advised that should you say you would pay the costs to send it back (which you never did!) I should get my own independent inspection. Which I was more than prepared to do because I knew that I was right. You on the other hand were not prepared to do this which you made clear when you said that the suppliers had said “it wasn’t worth their time”. That’s when the refund/replacement was offered.
Once again I did state in the emails that I did not wish to hear from you again, and here we are . This will be the last edit I make I have better things to do with my time.
I had every right to leave a review and hope that consumers will use this along with other reviews to make an informed decision about whether or not love rugs is a company they wish to use.

I’ve returned 3 rugs lately to another…
I’ve returned 3 rugs lately to another supplier as they were poor quality, this was my last try until I had to trudge round the shops which I hate. My rug arrived yesterday and it’s beautiful in my opinion, very good quality/price and exactly how it looks online.

After being let down by one of your competitors we tried Love Rugs.We asked you to check the stock availability which you did and then phoned me back. We paid for it and the 2 rugs were delivered within a week. The rugs were very well packaged and we are delighted with them. A great service and hassle free. Well done and thanks.
