I’ve attended a lot of professional development courses over the years, but I can honestly say that Live and Learn are the best I’ve experienced.
Yesterday I attended an Insights Discovery training day with Lisa Kitchen, who is also a part-owner of the business, and it was brilliant. Lisa has such a natural way of leading a room. She creates a space where people feel comfortable, engaged, and genuinely curious about the material. The day was thoughtful, energising, and incredibly practical. The way she brought the Insights framework to life made it feel relevant to real working relationships, not just theory on a slide. I left with a much clearer understanding of how people think, communicate, and work together.
Over the years I’ve also attended several courses delivered by Mark Simpson, and I can genuinely say the knowledge he shared changed my career in meaningful ways. Mark has a rare ability to challenge how you think while making complex ideas feel clear and accessible. His sessions don’t just teach you something for the day. They shift your perspective in ways that stay with you long afterwards.

We went on the management skills training and Lucas delivered the course. Really friendly and informative. We have been given loads of ideas to take back to our buisness and we have been given the tools to implement them. Management Training
We hired Mark to run the Management training for hospitality staff and it was structered in a way that not only engaged managers in the content but didn't overwhelm. I requested the main focus to be on having difficult conversations and he tailored the training to this in a very constructive way - using real life examples to get the best out of the staff. Most of the managers are new to managing and he approached this in a way so that they could come to decisions on their own in line with his guidance.
