It was agreed to purchase a bike on the…

It was agreed to purchase a bike on the phone with agreed delivery within a week or so, after several phone calls to Kevin in sales and still no delivery summer was passing and I was still without a bike, was not until I was pulling out of the sale I had a delivery date.
I was informed the screen was badly scratched and a new was on order, 2 month have passed, I still have not received my screen.

We would, however, like to clarify that our after-sales support has been available throughout. When you contacted us regarding the batteries, we promptly provided step-by-step instructions to assist with their removal, as new battery systems can sometimes be tight-fitting when first used.

Regarding the brake and gear concerns, these issues can occasionally arise following transportation and may require minor adjustments during the initial setup period. We have always been willing to assist with troubleshooting and resolving any issues reported to us.

We understand that experiencing problems with two new e-bikes is frustrating, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our intention has always been to provide support and work towards a resolution whenever concerns have been raised.

We value all customer feedback and remain available to assist with any outstanding issues.

My experience was 5 stars at the Gt Dunmow branch Alex looked after me from the word go nothing was to much trouble very polite and very knowledgeable.
Where the Ipswich branch where I live was terrible 0 stars I am in a fb biker group with 30,000 members and no one has a good word to say but I thought I would see for myself and yep totally agree didn’t give me the time of day. So took my business to Alex.

Great experience

Having had a bad experience at Watton a few years ago I was really apprehensive about using Lings again.
Arron at the Norwich branch has put that all right. He has gone the extra mile even on his day off whilst waiting for a part he was still in touch.

Great lad, great service and faith restored (well done).

I ran in to a fantastic Dealership

I found the whole process very enjoyable.
I was in car sales for 33 years so I understand the way things work but I found your process so relaxing and not under pressure it was perfect.
James was super helpfull and a dream to deal with.
The bike was also presented in perfect condition for it's age.

Be careful when ordering from lings…

Be careful when ordering from lings they show parts in stock but there not even in the country 3 weeks later still nothing I was promised a phone call to tell me an ETA nothing so rang them again asked for a refund it could take up to 5 days. Myself personally will never use these again. As it’s the second time that lings have done this….

The part you ordered was not held in UK stock and had to be specially ordered from our supplier in Austria. Unfortunately, since Brexit, parts coming into the UK are subject to customs clearance, which can add additional delays that are outside of our control.

As we supply parts for thousands of different motorcycle models across many manufacturers, it simply isn’t possible for us to hold every part in stock at our UK warehouse. For this reason, our website does not state that this item is in stock. During checkout, we provide an estimated lead time and advise customers that delivery times are calculated from the point of dispatch, not the point of order. We also encourage customers to contact our team before ordering if a part is required urgently so we can confirm current availability and expected lead times.

With regard to your refund request, this was processed immediately by our team. The 3–5 working day timescale relates to the banking system and the time it takes for funds to be transferred between banks, rather than any delay on our part.

We understand your frustration and appreciate that waiting for parts is never ideal. However, we process thousands of orders every week across a wide range of manufacturers, and the vast majority of our customers are extremely happy with the service we provide. We always strive to communicate as clearly as possible and support our customers throughout the ordering process.

I dealt with Christian who was so helpful and i never thought for one minute that I would be buying a new motorcycle from 260 miles away without seeing it but from enquiring about the bike to receiving it was 2 days. Service department need to start commuicating to customers

Been using Lings for a while now. Had a couple of Bikes from them and cant complain about the sales side. However todays experince with the service department was less than satifying. Ordered a new front tyre for my wifes Speed twin as this was advised to change at the last service. Lings was not the cheapist for this but I chose them out of loyalty. Got to Lings for the alloted time and was told, sorry your tyre will be here tomorrow. No phone call to tell me not to come and just told sorry I am new here!So a wasted 75 mile round trip in the rain and the loss of half a days pay. Not good enough Lings!

Unfortunately, the tyre did not arrive from our supplier as confirmed ahead of your booking. While the majority of deliveries arrive as expected, on this occasion this specific tyre was missing from the consignment despite the rest of the order arriving.

Due to the timing of the booking and delivery schedule, we were unfortunately unable to contact you before you had already begun travelling. In hindsight, allowing a larger buffer between delivery and booking would have been the better approach and is something we will review internally.

We completely understand your frustration regarding the wasted journey and time lost, and we were equally disappointed that the tyre had not arrived as expected. Since then, the tyre has arrived and we have attempted to contact you to discuss rebooking and how we may be able to put things right, however we have unfortunately been unable to reach you so far.

We do appreciate your loyalty to Lings over the years and thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
