Online purchase of Haibike Alltrail 8 2025

Customer service was very good, Sid was helpful and answered my queries. Sale price of the bike was excellent value and free carriage was a bonus. It would have been helpful to have user manuals but I was able to find these online. And the bike is great, I am enjoying riding it.

Doing the deal was flawless with great communication and excellent personal skills. I as the customer was left feeling cared for and looked after in a safe pair of hands. Couldn't say there are any negative points to make at all.

Bit concerned

It went ok, my pickup was delayed which lost me a days wage at work, since picking the bike up I've noticed a scuff that looking back was there on pick up. I've emailed asking if there's anything that can be done and had no response so I'm concerned that they only care about selling and not helping after uts sold and they've got there commission.

Bike arrived damaged

Bike arrived damaged. While I appreciate that's not really down to the shop they should have used more packaging to protect the bike and used a decent courier. Then they tried to say that its only cosmetic and made excuses for other defects. I had to do all the running around and chasing them constantly. Finally got a replacement that has also got paint coming of parts of the bike. The tyres are not as described in the description. The bike was listed as a 2025 model but the receipt states 2024 but the bike and parts have 2003 stamped on them. For a £4000 bike the service is diabolical.

When you reported damage to the original bike, we arranged for it to be exchanged and supplied a replacement bike. While we appreciate the frustration caused by the initial issue, we worked to resolve the matter by providing a fresh replacement as quickly as possible.

Regarding the specification concerns, manufacturers occasionally substitute components when the originally specified parts are unavailable due to supply chain constraints. This is common across the cycling industry and is permitted by most manufacturers' specifications, provided the alternative components are of equivalent quality and performance.

In relation to the model year, the bike was sold as a current model-year carryover bike. It is not unusual for manufacturers to continue producing or selling a model across multiple years without changing the frame design, and individual frame or component date stamps often reflect the production date rather than the model year designation.

We regret that you remain dissatisfied and apologise for any inconvenience caused throughout the process. We always aim to provide a high level of service and appreciate your comments, as they help us review and improve our customers' experience.

1st of all I will state that I am happy…

1st of all I will state that I am happy with the bike it goes well and is a pleasure to ride. The big disappointment for me was the fact that when I 1st viewed the bike it was the day it had been traded in on picking up the bike it was in the same state as it had been traded in not been cleaned or valeted chain still covered in old grease. I would have thought that a major Triumph dealer would present a bike in a lot better manner wither it be new or used shame

I bought the bike and again with James advice added some extras to the bike which i think add to the bikes potential and value.
I highly recommend.
