I have used a several studio management programs over the years and Light Blue is the best I've found. Automatically sending emails and texts is one of my favourite features, along with their online payment system and the iPhone app, which means you have it in your pocket wherever you go.
The support is first class, anytime I've had a problem figuring something out with it, a quick email and the LB support are back to me, usually within an hour of so with the solution, which might include a little video of how to do it. I highly recommend Light Blue to any photographer looking for a database program to help run their business.

Lightblue is "God" in my business - it rules everything I do! From putting things in my diary, reminding me of actions, invoicing and my end of year accounts, it's the thing that keeps everything working. And with them adding new and useful features and functionality constantly, you never know what goodies are around the corner! Thanks Team LB!

It saves me so much time each and every week, particularly with the tasks we tend to repeat...

For example raising an invoice is now a 30 second job, thanks to the ability to create templates and price lists, which are then really easy to tweak. The invoice needs to be adjusted? No problem, 10 seconds and it's done. Time to invoice the balance? No need to find a calculator or open spreadsheets - hit a button, it's done.

I wonder where my business has been coming from this year - google searches, referrals? Hit another button, a bar chart is generated showing visually exactly where my profit has come.

Tax return time? Hit a button, generate the figures; ready to fill out the return, instantly...

I'm sure you get the point.

Lightblue has saved me countless hours, maybe days of time each year - and it's an invaluable part of my business now. You have to try it for yourself.

I have been using Light Blue for 10 years. It has helped me stay on top of all aspects of running my business. There are so many useful features, and Light Blue are constantly asking users what new elements would be advantageous.

The software is easy to use, but if you get stuck the customer support is truly incredible, and so quick to respond.

Workflows are possibly my favourite feature of all. Whether it is a task reminder on the Home screen, or an automated email sent to a client, workflows ensure I work efficiently and my clients know I'm focused on their project. Best of all is the automated text messages that have ensured I have not suffered a single 'no-show' in the last 2 years.

I use Proselect software in the sales room and export all the details seamlessly into Light Blue which is especially time-saving if there are a lot items in the basket. There is no need to retype the details. The client receives the Proselect copy as a receipt for the sale, and the Light Blue invoice when they collect their order.

Light Blue is an excellent piece of software which helps us incredibly well to manage our busy photography business. Having tried other software previously Light Blue outranks them all. It's intuitive, well structured and the customer support is second to done. We cannot recommend Light Blue and the support that is provided highly enough.

Such a great tool for organization! It has really come into its own this year with all of the postponed weddings and it's kept me safe in the knowledge that I am looking after all of my customer's needs. Thank you Lightblue team!

Light Blue helps me keep organised. Having all my communications in one place makes life so much easier, it's so simple when a client calls to hop in to Light Blue and check out what's happened in the past, to see my clients notes - their preferences, all about them helps me to really personalise all my dealings with them.
For instance, when a client comes back in for their viewing I can check what they like to drink, how they like their coffee, etc. and they are always impressed and flattered that I remember, little details but big impact.
I love the simplicity of Light Blue and the fact that it's always being improved.

Because I work alone with no admin support or assistant - Lightblue fills this gap.. I feel like light blue has my back. Light blue takes care of all my day-to-day business management tasks in one place. Without it - I'd have a mess of spreadsheets, and multiple inefficient ways of keeping track of my admin (like I used to do before light blue).

Light blue has made being organised simple and easy to manage - it's one of those tools that is a true asset rather than a drag to use and update. It makes me feel in control of my business and that gives me more confidence and less stress.

Knowing all my data is backed up securely offsite and synced across all my devices is literally a lifesaver. My job as a freelancer would be disorganised and as a result - stressful without light blue ..it's always worked flawlessly, never takes a day off - it's my perfect assistant.

..Twice in the last 10 years my computer has suffered a complete system meltdown - needing a day-long support session with Apple to restore, and both times I didn't have to worry about my business records and day-to-day management - light blue had everything safe, backed up and available from another machine and on my phone. A lifesaver at the most stressful times!

I've been in the wedding photography business since 2006 and we regularly shoot around 35 weddings per year plus family photos and engagement sessions. I was finding it more and more difficult to manage the bookings and having looked at a few options, Light Blue has brought order out of chaos!

I use it record details of every shoot so in one central place have everything I need to know instantly available; shoot dates, times, contact details, contracts, prices, emails and more. It is easy to add additional dates to a shoot ie engagement shoot prior to a wedding and move dates (thats been very useful this year!).

I've incorporated the Light Blue booking form into my website so all the information I need is captured instantly and recorded in Light Blue. I also like the way it flags a date in red if there is a booking already on the requested date - very useful. The phone app is useful for quick bookings on the go or to check shoot details, almost all of the information on the desktop version is available on my phone. At present, I'm sharing my calendar with clients looking to change wedding dates so I know they have the very latest availability as Light Blue keeps it fully updated.

Support is excellent, very responsive and all my queries have been resolved within a couple of hours. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Light Blue to busy photographers who need to manage a large volume of work. I don't actually think I could work without it now!

Put simply, I could not do without Light Blue software to help me with running my business. Like any other piece of software you need to put the time in to set up and customise for your own needs, but it is so worth doing that with this software. Light Blue is always innovating with regular updates and new features and they actually listen to the feedback. Any issues that I have come across has been dealt with on a personal and efficient way including email responses, one to one sessions and screen sharing. Their support I have found, is second to none and as a customer when I need to contact them I feel that I am the most important person to them at the time. I would, without hesitation, recommend this piece of software to take care of running your business, freeing up your valuable time to concentrate on other elements of your business.

I can’t rate Light Blue enough. It’s was the first piece of software I bought for my business even before Photoshop! I wanted a system that would work for the unique challenges a photographer faces when running a studio and because Light Blue is designed by photographers for photographers they get us. No unnecessary features you’ll never use and a whole host of things to not only keep you on track but help you become more productive and profitable. My favourite thing about Light Blue is the workflows. I can set up for all my different types of shoots and means I forget nothing! It even sends emails out to my clients at specific times for me like session reminders and after shoot sales guides without me having to lift a finger. Add to that the amazing customer support from Light Blue and it’s an all round top package. I have been with Light Blue almost 4 years and I wouldn’t change 🙂

Simply the best photography management system out there, I would not be without it!
