Been using their OLGA software since inception. Odd counter-intuitive procedures were augmented along the way following input and is now better for end user vs a computer programmer!

This last few months have seen a notable drop in productivity. The log-in screen takes an age to recognise the input data. What used to be a 5 minute job keying each week to keep on top of admin has become an hours chore. Improvements are on the way we’re assured, but it doesn’t help with managing one’s workflow, never knowing when the system will be working as initially intended. Currently getting error reports after keying, so unable to cross check to own figures.

Following numerous emails and Diocesan involvement, the bespoke sign in of Diocesan members has been streamlined to remedy the situation.

I would recommend Data Developments to anyone considering a software solution to their accounting needs, not only is the software good, but the people behind it are great, and they will always have time to help with any issues you may have no matter how big or small, and make you feel part of their team. This is such a huge part of any decision you make regarding new software, and these guys have got it right!

FC developed a corrupt file - in the middle of preparing the year-end accounts - and locked up. Adam was reassuring, suggested the best approach to try. It was successful and all systems are go again. Phew! Many thanks for the great service.

As our Church's Treasurer, I have used Finance Co-ordinator since 2012. After the first few weeks of a "Steep Learning Curve", it became the best piece of accounting software I have ever used. After the sad passing of our Gift Aid administrator, her job passed to me. It took a while to get used to this new programme, but again it's FAB. Asking for help with a few matters, Adam, Ann Marie and Carrie were so understanding and they sorted me out effortlessly - you all deserve a bonus. Thanks team DataDevelopments.

I was most grateful to Adam for the advice and assistance that I received in submitting our GASDS and Gift Aid claims having used a new feaure for the first time. He was most patient and guided me through the process even taking charge at one point!

On the morning of Saturday 24 May, the start of the bank holiday weekend, I decided to try out the trial version of (what I thought) was the new online Donations Coordinator. However, I downloaded the wrong programme, "lost" all my 40 year's worth of data, and nearly had a nervous breakdown! After a good night's sleep and a calming church service, on Sunday morning I had another search for the history, found it but could's access it.
So, long wait till Tuesday afternoon, the earliest I could contact Support. Annmarie swiftly assured me that nothing was lost, it just needed backup to be restored which she did for me.
So later that day I started entering the last month's stats and all was well till I came to print a report, and couldn't. So a second call to Carrie this time showed up a need to rearrange files. We had to wait a while for the "take over pc" prog to be available and after regrouping all was back in full working order.
The patience and thoroughness of this team is amazing, and my equilibrium was restored along with my data!
Moral, don't jump into a trial without first a consultation. Second, don't ever attempt such a move at the start of a bank holiday weekend!!

Data Developments and the support that I recently received from My Fund Accounting Online was terrific. They were really friendly and were able to sort out the problem that I was having very quickly. We've used Finance Coordinator and My Fund Accounting online for 15 years. They are a terrific company and the online packages are excellent value.

I find the My Fund Accounting system to be an excellent tool for running the church accounts. Easy to input and gives useful management reports. The back up and support to correct mistakes, as one learns to use the system is first class.

I have been a user of My Fund Accounting and it's desktop predecessor for many years and find it to be an invaluable tool in managing both my Church and my Rotary Club accounts so would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. I would particularly comment on the exceptional and friendly help offered by their email and telephone based technical support team where they could not be more helpful.

This software is terrible. It's not user friendly or intuitive. We tried using it for a while, but gave up. We then discovered ExpensePlus which is a fund accounting package used by hundreds of churches, and for good reason - it's brilliant!

I just wanted to thank you all (the Support Team and the Development Team behind the scenes) for your superb support and guidance as we have picked up from a standing start MyGiving and MyFundAccounting.

You have been great and very polite.
No question seems to phase any of you.
You can get into our thinking very quickly and demonstrate the system has thought of everything - well almost!

Indeed you have been pleasant and helpful whenever I've called which is quite impressive given the number of calls you must received in a day.

We are a group of nine treasurers looking after an independent group of churches and this has been our first full year of adopting the system.

The ability to produce detailed reports per entitiy and importantly consolidated accounts at the press of the button is impressive.

Clearly designed for churches and charities.

We are a Parish that had been using the Finance Coordinator application for bookkeeping over 10+ years. With a desire to move to a cloud-based product and with the impending retirement of FC, we took the plunge and decided to migrate to MyFundAccounting. The migration has been very smooth indeed thanks to the support of the guys at DD. All our historical data has been moved across with very little impact on our day-to-day running; the new product is much easier to use with many more useful features - thank you DD !!

Asked for assistance after changing from Windows 10 to Windows 11 left me unable to print. Very quickly sorted by the use of remote access and everything printing fine now. Extremely helpful service. Many Thanks

I contacted Data Developments about changing the way we accessed the Finance Coordinator software as we needed to change two logins on one license to two separate licenses. They were very fair on what they charged us, and made the process very easy.
I sent over a backup file as requested, they made the changes needed and returned the new files to us very quickly.
It all worked perfectly, and came with a friendly offer of continued support if we need it.

Excellent support I received from Adam. He is a gem in this organisation. He was very patient with me who does not understand the system fully.

What a fantastic piece of software. It did everything I needed it to plus a lot more. The staff are so polite and talked me through any problems I had (although there wasn´t very many). The training videos explained everything I needed to know, and i was able to post 8 months of accounts with no bother.

I emailed a query at 9.30 this morning, asking for help with one particular piece of data entry in My Fund Accounting. Just two hours later I had a response giving me clear step by step instructions how to do it. This swift reply was despite an automatic response saying to expect a reply in 3 to 5 working days. I didn’t have to wait three days, just two hours.

Called and had the fortunate opportunity to speak with Adam. To say he went above and beyond was and understatement. After solving the initial query very quickly, he noticed some quirkiness in the account and took me through a complex rectification process that he explained fully. He waited on the phone until I was confident to repeat further steps myself. Moreover, he allowed me time to do what I needed to before calling me back to help me further with an historic error that he had spotted. I cannot thank him enough and can only praise him for his outstanding customer service. If there is a ' rewards cupboard ’, can I suggest that his manager unlocks it and rewards him suitably.
