You may get the odd offer that'll benefit you, but they change the goal posts quite often.
From 1st Feb it's a free can of pop or drink when you spend £100 and a packet of sweets when you reach £150, personally I think it's a pretty poor way to repay customer loyalty.
Lidl at Heacham and Fakenham my local…
Lidl at Heacham and Fakenham my local stores.
I very seldom shop at Lidl, you just know there wont be enough checkouts open, every single time this is the case!
I had 3 items this morning, only 2 checkouts open both with people with big shops.
They finally started flashing to open another one so myself and the couple behind me went over. Took an age for anyone to actually come onto the checkout, finally a sullen looking woman ambled over to open it. No apologies for the wait, no greeting, no common courtesy whatsoever. This is why I do my main shop at Tesco, hate these German discount stores (but at least Aldi have now installed self checkouts for those only wanting a couple of items).
They may be Lidl on price but they are rubbish at customer service!
Worse ever queues
Lidl Bicester the cashiers are crooks
Lidl Bicester the cashiers are crooks. A month ago they charged me for 8 packs of bananas instead of one and today they charged me for 38 packs of cheese instead of one and they got mad when I asked for my money back.
Very bad Lidl shop in Harrogate
Very bad shop in Harrogate, Knaresborough rd. Supervise band me for 1 year for his own mistake

Rude little…
Most Lidl staff are rude not just in the UK. In France and even in Malta, probably the management trained their staff to be rude as they probably think we are cheap so who cares if our staff are friendly or not. I agree you are cheap!
Avoid Lidl Bath Rd Reading
Last month, soon as I got into the store, I heard a noise so I saw a box of fruit felt down. As doing my shopping I picked the box up to use it. This lady(supervisor) came out from inside, she only saw me with the box and the fruit on the floor, she told me that's not nice to use the box and drop the fruit on the floor. I tried to explain that the fruit was already on the floor, I even asked her to check her cameras. She came out full of attitudes against me.I asked for her name but she took her name badge off and told me that her name is Mónika. I asked to speak with the manager, Mr Vishal but she told me he is on his break and couldn't see me. Very rude person without any customer service skills, accusing me of something I never did and not listening when I was trying to explain. I made a complaint to Lidl, they told me they will take action but today, a month after I just saw her upsetting another customer. This is not her fault, its the lack of training as companies are minimising costs. I don't recommend Lidl Bath Road Reading to anyone
Awful place.yet again only two tills…
Awful place.yet again only two tills open out of six hence queues of people.i put the items back that I wanted and left the shop.lidl you are losing business.
Better service at Aldi.
Yet another Lidl mistake
Went to do my shopping today as and claim my free product for spending over £50 and I was going to get a box of Satsuma's as my free item. I did not activate the offer so that I could put it through as a separate sale because I knew full well they would take the cheapest priced item from my shopping. Put shopping through and looked at the receipt only to find they did take the cheapest priced item off the bill even though the offer was NOT activated. When I said this to the cashier she was very rude and said sometimes the coupons are automatically activated by Lidl by MISTAKE which meant I could no longer get the box of Satsumas for free, when the manger arrived he was not interested and said just complain to Lidl Plus as it their problem.
I visited Lidle in HANDSWORTH Friday…
I visited Lidle in HANDSWORTH Friday 13th December at 17:30hrs. I had my shopping on the conveyor belt around the third customer in the queue to be served by the cashire. Well there was a little issue with the customer whom the cashire was serving. Unfortunately she did not have enough cash to pay for her shopping. She left the store and we were all waiting to be served. This took around 8 mins for her to return within that time i asked the cashire how long is this going and he ignored me. Then he rudely said the person i need to ask is coming back in a while i must ask her. He has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. He then continue to hum when i was been served. Further more the Toilets has been out of service for 2 years to date which is not acceptable as I have heard customers with children asking to use the toilet but have been told to go outside!.
I do not normally use Lidle Handsworth because of those reasons stated above. Staff need better training this would Never happen in Lidle on the OLD WALSALL ROAD where i normally shop .As the staff there are polite and very helpful.
The worst shop ever!!
The worst shop ever!!! Avoid at any cost! The shop assistant was rude.
Taking into consideration how expensive everything is at Lidl, and luck of stuff, huge queues, rude people and por quality products, comparing that to other shops which offers better products with almost the same prices
Degrading Experience
I,ve just shopped at the Bristol Emerson's Green store and had a very humiliating experience. When I entered the store I'd just come from Sainsbury's and was carrying two pieces of beef in a small shopping bag. I picked up a basket at the door and went around the store adding two pieces of pork and a turkey crown to the basket. When I got to the check out I put my shopping bag on the floor and added the pork and turkey in it after going through the check out. The cashier then asked if I had any goods in my bag that I had not paid for. I said no and explained I'd been in Sainsbury's earlier and that I had two joints of beef in my bag when I entered the store. The cashier then said he had to get his manager who then came, publicly went through my bag without at any point addressing me and walked off when satisfied. No word of thank you, sorry, or explanation of his actions was given. He just walked off leaving me humiliated in front of 4 lanes of queuing shoppers. That will be the last time I shop at Lidl. When you get it wrong at least have the decency to be polite and apologise for your mistake. An apology for the inconvenience caused to myself and other shoppers would have been my minimum expectation. But no, just ignorance. Quite shocking.
Word soup
Corporate fob off is the norm to any/every email. Long wait times at checkouts : no cash self service tills : no ability to search for products on their website : double digit % price increases :
They all get the same copy and paste reply, culminating in a refusal to provide any further information. Their best quality soup comes in the form of their correspondence, which is ALL WORD SOUP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The current leaflet offers 6 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc for £30. The cashier agreed it was on offer but would not let me have it at that price. Lidl do not honour the prices in their leaflet!
Today i received a p from…
Today i received a parking charge from parking eye . I was shopping in Lidl a store i use frequently . The receipt is in my possession . I do not wish to waste my time and money to prove this whilst filling out incorrect parking charges issued . This is incompetence by Lidl and Parking eye , my registration was entered . If Lidl continue with this nonsense will now find them self in court .Lidl are directly responsible for using Parking eye a known poor company .
Saddened
Wow, can’t describe the distain I received when asking when croissants would be ready. I just dropped my shopping and walked out. I feel this runs deeper I’m afraid. Saddened.
FRANKENCHICKENS still sold at Lidl…
FRANKENCHICKENS still sold at Lidl Exmouth - why ? This is so wrong for the chickens and for your customers
The Lidl app is rubbish !
The Lidl app is rubbish !
They ask loads of questions, find out which store you prefer and then they give you money off coupons for other stores which are listed in the tiny print!!
This has happened to me twice and when I’ve questioned it the staff just shrug shoulders.
So I’ve deleted Lidl App and will stick with good old Aldi. You know where you are with them and the staff are wonderful and helpful
