The celebrant, Neil, deserves every credit for the compassionate, empathetic and professional manner he conducted this funeral of Alan Cooper. He had taken time to get to the family and understand what was important to Alan, a kind and funny man. This is clearly a vocation for Neil, and the respect he showed everyone, was heartwarming and comforting for family and friends.

Having attended a funeral this week where Neil led the service I'd have no hesitation in recommending him. He spent time with the family to ensure the service was reflective, fitting and captured the essence of our loved one. It was a beautiful tribute, thoughtfully put together with a great deal of attention to detail and it made a difficult day easier to bear. Without exception all who attended felt the same, he honoured our loved one with insight, respect, humour and love. It was outstanding and I know I am not alone in wanting to thank Neil for making this a beautiful, memorable and fitting farewell. Thank you

Neil was amazing, I personally do not like celebrants and until I attended Alan Coopers funeral with Neil as the celebrant was adamant that I didn’t want one at my funeral just wanted friends and family to speak. However I would now be happy for Neil to do it for me when the time comes as he was just great, it felt like he had known Alan for years, never referred to him like he was just talking about a person it was always obviously Alan.

What a truly wonderful human.
Neil conducted my dad’s funeral recently and I honestly can’t thank or recommend him enough.
He sat for hours with myself and family to truly take the time to know and understand who my dad was.
He fulfilled every aspect so perfectly, people at the funeral were asking if he was a family friend!!
Nothing was too big of an ask and he was so kind and compassionate throughout the whole process.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Neil more.

Neil was absolute dream when he performed Shell and Ian’s wedding. His warmth and care really shined. Neil is such a genuine and wonderful man!

Neil’s service from start to finish was incredible. I’m so happy he did our wedding. He took so much care and attention to make our day special. So many little details he implemented to ensure the ceremony was fantastic. He made a real effort to meet us multiple times before hand and get to know us.

Neil… what an amazing human being he is! When I started my wedding planning journey, we were having a registrar for a standard ceremony but due to issues with timings, we had to find an alternative option and that’s where Neil stepped in.

From the off, he didn’t give it the hard sell like many other celebrants did, but instead was informative, kind and reassuring. My now husband and I had an initial Zoom meeting with Neil, and knew straightaway that he was the man to marry us!

Neil was patient, helpful and always on the other end of the phone if we needed him. He guided us through the things we needed to make our bespoke wedding ceremony about us and gave us helpful tips and support every step of the way.

After months of messages and meetings the wedding day came and all I can say is… WOW. Neil was so much more than a celebrant. I can’t even put into words how he helped make the day so special with little touches that he added. Our ceremony was filled with love, warmth and humour, delivered by Neil. His personality and charisma shone through and was an absolutely perfect fit for our day. So many of my guests came to tell me how wonderful they thought he was and how our ceremony was so moving and memorable. That, in large amounts, was down to Neil and his delivery.

There are not enough thank yous I could say that would justify how grateful we are to Neil for everything that he has done for us during the lead up to our wedding and on the wedding day. I can honestly say that if you put your trust in Neil for your occasion, you will not be disappointed. He’s kind, he’s approachable and he cares. Having Neil marry us was one of the best decisions we made by far. He is brilliant.

Neil's involvement with our Mum's service was appreciated right from the start as he guided us through the process and together we worked out exactly how we wanted it to be. His service for her was lovely and we very much appreciate how he helped us remember Mum.

We can not thank Neil enough for the beautiful service he done for our mum today, he went above and beyond to give our mum the best send off we could have hoped for. He ensured it was a personal and detailed walk through mum’s life and I highly recommend his service.

Neil went above and beyond to make sure the services he held for our Mother and Father was both attentive and professional, he put together there eulogy’s, having listened and allowed us all the time we needed in telling him about our parents. We cannot thank you enough Neil for your caring and understanding at our sad time.

The Service was a beautiful tribute to my Nan with both attention to detail and humour, which was a fitting tribute to her. Neil went above and beyond to ensure every last detail and memory were correct and included, helping our family with the utmost professionalism, patience and compassion. It was beautiful to watch him encourage my family to walk down memory lane talking about my Nanas life when he came to meet them. Thank you for making a sad time for us that bit easier, knowing we gave her the perfect send off.

I can honestly say that the service Neil provided was way beyond my expectations. He was kind, attentive and professional. He was always available for us and allowed us all the time we needed in telling him about our mother. Neil wrote mum’s eulogy in a way that reflected her life and passions perfectly. My mum had exactly the send off she would have wanted.

Neil acted as the celebrant for the celebration of life of a close relative who unexpectedly passed away.

A great shock, Neil’s natural empathy, friendliness and welcoming personality were clearly evident at our first meeting.

Neil was very patient in understanding our relative’s life, helping us to create a service we all felt was fitting. He was also very clear but sensitive in explaining the process, key decisions to be made and their associated timescales.

We were so lucky to have Neil for my Mother-in-Laws celebration of life. From our first meeting with Neil he made the difficult & emotional discussions that little bit easier with his caring, kind & lovely manner. He kept in touch prior to the service ensuring we were ok and happy with everything he was putting together for us all. My experience with Neil was brilliant. He was such a great help and support guiding me and my mum through the process of planning a funeral service when we lost my grandma. He offered ideas and suggestions & asked all the right questions to get as much information as he could to put together a great service. Always easy to contact & on hand for any questions/queries. On the day itself he was professional, respectful and caring. When we lost my grandad a few months later it was a no brainer to pick Neil again. Such a lovely chatty personable guy - you could spend all day talking to him. In an awful situation, he is a shining star who does all he can to make sure the occasion is a success.

Neil met my Dad & myself in February to discuss my Mum's funeral. It was the first time I'd ever done it & Neil's care, attention to detail, thoughtfulness & genuine sincerity made it so easy (& also at times funny, as we recalled & laughed about our memories). On the day he guided the whole family through the service with such gentleness & kindness that it made it all the more special.
Unfortunately we've just had to call on Neil again for my Dad's funeral. The knowledge that he knew him & met him so recently made it all the more moving but special too. Neil is such a fantastic person & has helped our family through 2 huge losses in just 10 months. I will forever be in his debt.
