Neil was amazing on such a hard day. He was kind, genuine, and really easy to talk to, which made everything feel less overwhelming. He listened to the family, understood what we wanted, and created a service that truly felt like it was about our loved one — not just a generic ceremony. The way he spoke, the tone he set, and how he supported the family made a real difference. We’re grateful to him for making such a painful day feel a little lighter and more meaningful.

Neil recently conducted the ceremony for my mum’s funeral. He was wonderful and I can’t recommend him enough. He is very genuine, listened to what we wanted and created a ceremony that was commended by numerous people. It was exactly what we wanted and a perfect celebration of our mum’s life. Thank you Neil, you made what was a difficult time feel manageable.

Neil conducted a wonderful celebration of my sister's life, and his policy of seeking memories of her life from childhood and through adulthood, to include in the eulogy, was brilliant.

Neil from Leicester Celebrancy was incredibly warm and friendly from the very first meeting. He took the time to truly get to know who our mam really was, not just on paper but as a person, and that meant so much to our family.
He was a great communicator throughout, extremely well organised and immensely efficient, which meant everything ran smoothly on the day and we had complete confidence in him. There was absolutely no judgement at any point, just genuine care and respect.
Neil wrote the most beautiful eulogy that told our mam’s story perfectly. Including memories from those who loved her was a really special touch and made the service feel personal, heartfelt and authentic.

A friend who had previously worked with Neil suggested we reach out to him. After my mother's passing, we contacted Neil, and his support was exceptional from the start and continued beyond the funeral. He organized a meeting where we immediately felt at ease. We shared stories about my mother's life, which Neil noted down. Before the service, he called to share what he'd prepared, and he had captured her essence flawlessly. On the day of the service, his demeanor was calm and reassuring, delivering my mother's eulogy impeccably and standing by me as I gave my speech. I can't recommend Neil highly enough. Thank you, Neil.

I have to say that Neil was fantastic in conducting the funeral of my wife Lyn. He came around on a Sunday to talk us through the ceremony and wanting to know as much about Lyn as possible. As he conducted the service he had pulled all the information together beautifully. His knowledge was fantastic and his advise on the little things to do on the day was invaluable. Neil conducted Grandads Funeral in Jan 2025. 11 months later we were heartbroken to say we needed him again for our Grandmas Funeral. On both occasions the services were perfect in every way possible. His words capture people so beautifully. Neil guided our family through it all; music, photos, flowers, memories… he was at the end of the phone whenever we needed. Such commitment and dedication to a role that is so very important to complete. Thank you for making a very emotional time that little bit more easier to process. Would highly recommend Neil.

We had the pleasure of having Neil as the celebrant at Dads funeral 2 years ago. When Mum passed away last month we didn't hesitate to ask for Neil to take the service again.
We couldn't have asked for more. Neil ensured that every detail was taken care of. He advised us regarding music, lighting and photos and even the little personal touches, like giving roses to each guest to place on mums coffin at the end. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and excellent at what he does, and a thoroughly nice guy on top of that.
Planning a funeral can be daunting but Neil made it so easy.
Nobody wants to think about what happens 'when the time comes' but when you do, I would recommend Neil whole-heartedly. Thank you Neil, for making it perfect for Mum.

Living in Australia and planning such an important occasion, such as our vow renewal ceremony, while living on the other side of the planet was no easy task, but Neil went above and beyond to ensure our day was not only stress-free, but truely unforgettable.

From the very beginning he was genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect, and he took care of every single detail with warmth and professionalism.

One of the most precious moments of the day was my-87-year-old father having the honour of giving his only daughter away (something he was unable to do at our original wedding) a memory we will treasure forever.

When my mum passed away we made contact with Neil and from that moment even after the funeral he was brilliant.
Neil arranged a meeting and from the first minute we felt comfortable. We discussed mums life and Neil took notes, when he phoned me before the funeral to read out what he had written, he captured my mums life perfectly. On the day of the funeral he was relaxed, comforting and supportive, he delivered my mums reading perfectly and supported me when I struggled to deliver my speech.

He was kind and compassionate and really listened hard to what we wanted and ensured this is what we got! He provided really useful guidance and suggestions regarding the ceremony where we were unsure. He made the whole process so much easier and less stressful and was extremely reassuring. He was also brilliant at directing the actual funeral service and ready to step in at any point to help with anything as required. He made the funeral exactly what we wanted. Neil was the celebrant at the funeral of my dear friend who was taken too soon after her battle with cancer. I first met Neil alongside the family a week before the funeral ceremony. Neil delivered the most incredible service for my partner a few weeks ago. I had attended a funeral he conducted about a year ago, and I remember turning to my friend and saying, “If I ever need a celebrant, it has to be Neil.” He made such a lasting impression and he did not disappoint.

Neil came to our home one evening and spent several hours with us, talking about Alan and learning about his life. From the stories we shared, he crafted the most beautiful and heartfelt eulogy it felt as though he had known Alan personally. He even invited others to send in their memories, and he wove them seamlessly into the service, adding such a personal and touching touch.

One especially thoughtful touch: Alan loved trains, and on the day of the funeral, Neil wore a tie with trains on it. That level of care and attention meant so much.

From start to finish, Neil was compassionate, professional, and dedicated. When we first spoke, he said, “We’ll make this perfect,” and he absolutely did. He made an incredibly difficult day more bearable, and I can’t thank him enough.
