Good service

We’re a young couple with relatively little private renting experience, and Leader has made everything easy! We’ve been delighted with the help provided by our Lettings Consultant, Holly M, and have been blown away by their brilliant response time, attention to detail and kindness in answering all of our queries. We could not be happier with the service we’ve received and are very thankful to be moving into our new home, confident that they’ll always be there to support us!

Leaders have been incredible with our first home rental journey!
We saw the home around 4 weeks ago. Asked for a viewing and managed to get one pretty much straight away. Less than a month later we have the keys and are moving in! They have been so helpful with answering any questions we have had and responded either on the same day or the next day! Holly has been especially helpful. She has been our main contact during the process and was responding near enough straight away with responses to our questions. Can’t thank her or the team enough for making this happen…right before Christmas too! 🥰

I am a Landlord who owns 1 rental property in Chester. I pay for a fully managed service however I am becomming increasingly dissatisfied with the level of service I am receiving. There is extremely poor communication across the board. My Property Manager seems to change every month and it becomes harder and harder to track down who is in charge! Customer Care is negligent and has not responded to complaints. My only step before pursuing legal routes will be to visit the branch in person speak to the manager.

If you are considering using Leaders as a Property Manager - please avoid.

Just wanted to write a review highlighting how brilliant Holly is from the Chester branch. I sent in an application to rent a house and I was originally dealing with the Northwich branch, however with my agent being out of office, Holly picked up my email and dealt with me. First of all - I just want to say how fast and efficient she was with her responses! I was so grateful this as it is something I have not experienced with a previous estate agents. As soon as I sent an email, you could guarantee I had a reply within 10 minutes with the exact stage of where my application was up to, and what the next steps were. Up to this point - I am SO impressed with Leaders service and Holly is a credit to them!

BEYOND TERRIBLE!!! I would give them a -5 starts if I could. Complaining since June and now is December and still the complaint is not solved. I am a landlady and the former tenant moved out in June. The tenant did damages to the property for which I was never compensated. I sent pictures to the Property manager and sent an email reporting the damages, Several in fact. Never answered the phone or the emails. Leaders changed my property manager as it was no tomorrow and usually I was not informed. I requested a quote for redecoration and it was sent to me 2 months later. I had to travel to the UK (I live abroad) and to the redecoration myself. The new tenant reported 3 damages (something minor in the toilet, a door that does close well-nothing major -and a curtain rail that needed repair). they quotes over 600 pounds, no breakdown nothing. Bear in mind this is way more than the cost of a brand new internal door!. I queried it many times and raised a complaint with customer service. Despite this THEY WENT AHEAD WITH A JOB I NEVER APPROVED!!! that was well beyond expensive. I have been having issues with Leaders Chester since June this year and it is DECEMBER and they have not sorted out the issues. RUN A MILE. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, UN RESPONSIVE AND DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUN A MILE THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!! AND DO NOT RESPECT THEIR LONG TERM CUSTOMERS (LANDLORDS). If it is like that with landlords I only imagine how bad the service is for tenants. I would give me them a minus five stars if I could.
I also wrote a bad review in google reviews. Leaders replied very quickly in google reviews to my bad review. (With a generic reply) BUT still has not resolved my complaint logged in October 2nd. Bear in mind my original complaint to Leaders in Chester was sent in SEPT.!! I raised the issue in July and I am still waiting now November for this to be solved. THE WORST!!!! Leaders Chester-PLEASE DO NOT DARE TO WRITE A GENERIC REPLY. RESPECT THE CUSTOMER AND SOLVE THE ISSUES PROMPTLY!! WE ARE PAYING FOR THE SERVICE!!!

It seems Leaders have replied with the typical answer. Dear Leaders if you care for the customer you would know i have been emailing and calling the chester office to complain and now in DECEMBER THIS HAS NOT BEEN SORTED. The issue started in June this year!!! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER and get this resolved.

Rang up for some advice on renting in chester as i am looking to purchase a property in the near future. I can't remember who i spoke to but they were very knowledgeable about legislation and the local area.

My house rental recently moved over to Leaders and service has been 5 star. Great communications and been a pleasure to deal with Paula McCafferty who arranged take on and outstanding repairs swiftly & efficiently! Thank You.

Easy process

It was an easy purchase, no chain, reasonably short awaiting time for exchanging contract. Good communication with agents 👍
