We’ve had a superb experience with Lakeview and would thoroughly recommend them.

We initially dealt with David and Damien when buying our son’s car and were so impressed with the service that, when it came to selling my mum’s car, we went straight back to them.

Once again, the whole process was incredibly quick and easy. Nothing was too much trouble, they even arranged to collect my mum’s car, and the funds were in the account within minutes.

David and Damien were both friendly, helpful and professional throughout. Excellent service from start to finish and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Lakeview again. Thank you

Excellent customer service. Nothing was a bother. We live 250 miles away but a test drive was arranged whilst we were down there on holiday. The car was as advertised, David went out of his way to get all of the 14yrs of service history together, sale was agreed and delivery was arranged to our door. Couldn't ask for better service

My experience of buying a used car from Lakeview Cars to date has been extremely positive.
From the moment I showed interest in the vehicle any questions asked & guidance requested were answered by David & communications were polite & positive.
I was welcomed at the dealership by Andy, encouraged to inspect the vehicle alone & encouraged to take a test drive.
The vehicle was extremely well presented & I felt under no pressure when viewing.
Reservation, deposit payment & making full payment were all straightforward, the latter made at a distance.
David arranged for the vehicle to be delivered to me at my convenience some considerable distance away from the dealership, free of charge, it having been MoTd, serviced (oil change & filter change) & given 6mths warranty.
I am enjoying the vehicle & don’t anticipate any issues with it, but, should I have cause to make contact with Lakeview Cars in future, I am confident any exchanges will be equally polite & constructive.

Could not have asked for a better service, the photos and discription of the car were accurate upon arrival ( having had my time wasted at other sites with inaccurate descriptions on the dealerships website ) Pleasant staff answering the phone to make an appointment to view and test drive. Car was clean on arrival and waiting along with all the relivant paperwork which they handled on my behalf once the deal was struck, change of ownership V5 and road tax ( you have to pay for that seperatly not included ) Payment made by bank transfer.
They were reluctant to disscount the price but gave me a disscounted extended warranty at a very reasonable price which to be honest I prefered as I wanted a peace of mind cover .
I chose to pay cash but they offered me finance if I had needed it but were not pushy in any way .All in all great service and pleased with the end result .

I brought a BMW E89 Z4 from this company less than 3 months ago I traded in my Jaguar XF with no problems for the BMW. Sadly I have had nothing but problems since buying the Z4 it was sold with a 128 AA Service Check the main reason for buying it as I’m a AA Member: This service check was a fabrication of truth
I found out it didn’t get serviced at all,the oil was like black treacle and the spark plugs were completely covered in soot all 6 iridium plugs knackered & the oil filter was clogged in shite the Air filter was much the same condition when I looked at the air filter this was the point I realised I had been taken for a mug. The sales person David had most certainly lied about the car & didn’t give a fig about it when I phoned him about all the issues including the locking wheel nuts which couldn’t be removed due to being overloaded with to much Torque
I have since found out on 10/7/26 the car has got two oil leaks Sump Gasket & Cam Cover Gasket: Lakeview Cars will not pick the car up and sort these issues out at there expense they choose to ignore your calls and emails when they have a legal right to put things right on the car according to the consumer act 2015 the age of the car doesn’t matter if it’s serviced regularly and maintained to schedule:
I would not recommend this company The AA 128 check is not worth the paper it’s printed on the AA could not of checked this car over as it should of failed miserably I brought this car because I trusted the AA warranty inspection this company is untrustworthy if you’re thinking of buying a car from them my advice is steer clear or you will be extremely disappointed and out of pocket.

This dealership offers a refreshing, no-pressure approach to car buying that I haven’t found elsewhere.  The staff was incredibly respectful of my time, and the pricing was transparent with no hidden fees or aggressive upselling. David was straightforward and answered all my questions thoroughly and made the paperwork process quick and easy to understand. The vehicle was exactly as described, and was in a very clean and presentable condition. If you value integrity, clear communication, and a stress-free transaction, I cannot recommend Lakeview cars enough.

Have recently bought my second car from lakeview cars and super happy with the service and car we have purchased! We had David showing us around and he had so much knowledge about each car we knew we were in safe hands to pick the right car for us! Would highly recommend!

Travelled 2hrs to lakeview cars to look at a 2016 ford smax from minute i arrived they made me feel welcome left me to look around the car at my own pace took for test drive and was as described brought the car and took home couple of issues with it on way home but got intouch with them and they sorted it out no problem highly recommend this company if look for great garage to buy great used cars

Recently purchase a Mini from
Lakeview Cars with only praise and great satisfaction. The reason being was that the service was prompt and friendly. Taking delivery was a good experience cause the Mini was immaculately clean and neatly presented. Will be back when my partner need to change hers. Well Done to all the staff at Lakeview Cars.14

Great experience buying my son’s first car. The team were really helpful, giving advice on safety features and insurance groups to help us find the right car at the right price. No pressure, just honest and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

I have never experienced such poor customer service - I was spoken to in a vile, derogatory manner by David, I am still in shock at some of the things he said and the tone they were said in.

My mother brought a car from there on Saturday, the car was unfortunately driven in to the back of another car on it's return from a service (we hadn't brought it at that point) - we still decided to go ahead and buy it once they had repaired it and Lakeview offered to deliver it for no extra cost.

On Tuesday mum calls to be told it's ready and possible delivery Weds.
On Weds mum calls to be told it's not ready and will hopefully be delivered on Thursday.
On Thursday mum calls to be told it's still in the paint shop.

So I call as this was proving quite stressful for mum, I wanted to make sure it was on track to be delivered that day and to ask them to call mum, as so far mum has had to do all of the calling.

Here's a selection of some of the things that were said to me:
- It's not that big a deal, don't know why you're calling
- We didn't say it was ready - my colleague didn't say that
- Your mum's confused (said more than once)
- Do you want the car or not? (said with the most amount of attitude)
- The customer isn't always right (I'm sorry - what?!!)
- It's just a paint scratch (I have pics of damage and saw it in person, bumper was cracked in various places)
- It might be ready today, then 2 mins later - I've already called the driver to collect it (changed story at least 3 times on the call)
- Now you're confused
And the list goes on, I wish I could convey the tone and derogatory feeling in the words above)

No one got in touch with mum to keep her updated, all calls were made by us to the garage.

The car has since been delivered without the additional extras that were promised.

I cannot believe anyone would speak to someone the way I was spoken to, let alone a company that were getting thousands of pounds of our money.

Lakeview Clowns – Avoid at All Costs

I bought a VW Touareg from this dealership on 27th September 2025. By 17th October, the car was already in terrible condition—the engine was knocking and there were numerous other issues.

A local, reputable garage confirmed the engine needed to be replaced. Initially, the dealership staff were defensive and unhelpful. Surprisingly, Damien, the owner, eventually got involved and seemed somewhat understanding.

They arranged for the vehicle to be collected and promised a full refund within 7 days. That refund never arrived. Instead, I received multiple emails from Damien, full of spelling and grammar mistakes, claiming “there’s nothing wrong with the vehicle” and offering only to make me pay for the recovery or collect the car myself.

Throughout this ordeal, Damien refused to speak to me by phone, communicating solely via email and leaving his staff to deal with the fallout.

Eventually, he threatened legal action. I was contacted by a company called “Lawgistics,” a firm with a 3-star reputation that isn’t even regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

For someone who can afford a 24-plate Lotus, I expected a proper law firm—not this. In the end, I raised a dispute with my bank, provided all requested documentation, and received a full refund.

Do not buy from this dealership. Save yourself the stress, confusion, and the headache of trying to decipher Damien’s spelling—and avoid buying a car that’s basically a bag of problems.

The honest test drive, the Warrenty and after sales service was excellent. I've purchased a few cars from these guys and feel the price and service are second to none. Don't listen to the crybabies who just want Somthing for free. Very good car dealer. Would highly recommend.

Could not recommend Lakeview enough - amazing service, especially being a single female and having very recently been ripped off elsewhere. David was brilliant, and I am now the proud owner of a lovely Vitara which was a great price and had been valeted ready for collection. No pushiness, just feels very honest and reassuring and I would definitely look to buy my cars from here again in the future.
