Very disappointing. To say they are dog friendly is pushing it to say the least. You are allowed in reception area only, except for room, with dog. Pointless coming here with a dog as you will be eating dinner and breakfast in reception and if you want a drink at the bar they will take your order and serve it to you in reception, where else. Oh and none of this is explained upfront prior to arrival or when you make booking.
Manager was apologetic but could do nothing. So many other places to choose from that are truly dog friendly and welcoming too, better stay at one of those if you expect some highland hospitality rather than made to feel like a second class customer.

Lovely afternoon tea with my husband. We received a gift voucher for afternoon tea which I booked online which was super easy. Greeted by a lovely gentleman who showed us to our table. Lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Nice restaurant environment and very clean. Would recommend

I stayed at the 5 star Grosvenor in London last weekend and the service that we have had today and last night was far superior than the Grosvenor in Mayfair, London.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and well presented. I have stayed in the Kingsmills several times and it is a first class hotel.

Had a wonderful two nights. Staff were exceptional- kind and attentive and went over they score to please us. Room was spacious and clean. Absolutely excellent

Not a great experience stayed in the 5 star part of the hotel and the bathroom had no heating whatsoever not even a heated towel rail.
The restaurant was not adequately staffed and the staff that were there were very poor we asked for a table and they forgot about us completely after half an hour or so we had to remind them, then the food quality wasn’t good the so called rib eye steak looked more like a minute steak and after all that we ordered our dessert but they forgot to bring it to us.
Definitely one to avoid!!!

Had a lovely relaxing stay in the Kings Club Suite.
Suite was modern, light spacious and well furnished.
Well situated for a brief 10 minute walk to town centre in a pleasant safe area.
Seems to be extremely popular with the golfing fraternity although I wouldnt know one end of a golf bat from another (lol) but it was nice set in and around the course.
Breakfast was really nice,
Staff are pleasant, welcoming and helpful and i was particularly impressed with the help Kevin the Ops manager gave and went out of his way to make sure every stay was enjoyable.
Will defintely be back and will go for the suites again - Great value and a great break. Thanks all
