Top notch products and customer service

Products and customer service are top notch. When we had an issue with our Hottap nozzle, I reached out via email and had a response almost immediately with a replacement piece being shipped. Received it after only a few days. We have the Hottap Outing kit and the Gotta go 3 in 1 portable toilet and love them both for our off grid camping.

Joolca’s customer support is inspiring! Their customer service truly went above and beyond anything I expected. Honestly, I didn’t think this level of care and attention even existed anymore.

From the very beginning, their team was responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to helping me. Every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly, and they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It never felt like I was just another customer—they treated me like I actually mattered.

What stood out the most was how far they were willing to go to make sure everything was right. That kind of dedication is rare these days!

Gotta love Joolca products

I am an avid camper who prefers non-developed, off-grid campsites, so having reliable and high-quality gear is essential. I discovered Joolca products a while back and quickly became a fan. My first purchase was the Hottap Nomad, followed by the Ensuite Double for trips with my wife. As I explored their product line further, I added the Ensuite Mounted Single for my solo trips.

Over time, I found myself continuing to invest in Joolca products and accessories because of their excellent build quality, strong warranty, and outstanding customer service. My most recent purchase was the Hottap Go (also known as the “Hottie”) along with a power bank, which I got for my son to use during his trip to Coachella. Overall, my experience with Joolca has been extremely positive, and their products have significantly enhanced my camping experiences.

Joolca has excellent products for…

Joolca has excellent products for overlanding. They must overland themselves and know what their customers need or want for comfort. They also very serious with the quality of their products. On top of these, their customer support is amazing. A testament to their customer focused service.

Wouldn't recommend, terrible product and terrible service

We bought the hottap less than 9 months ago and have had never ending problems with it. Like others have said, you have to turn the flow down so low so that it actually goes hotter than 35 degrees, but then it just dribbles! The service staff are unfortunately absolutely useless and keep asking you to do redundant tasks that aren't related to your issue, so that you'll give up! I believe their reviews must be false after all the issues we've had with it.

When our team asks questions, it’s not to send you in circles, but it’s to quickly narrow down what might be affecting performance in your setup so we can get you back up and running.

I have the Hottie and the GottaGo

I have the Hottie and the GottaGo. First, the Hottie. I use it to heat water to wash dishes. I fill the tank before leaving home so that I don't consume the purified water that I bring with me, right from the start. I set the water temperature and it quickly reaches that temperature every time. Depending on the outside temperature you may need to reheat later because the tank isn't insulated. I have the Joolca power bank to power the heater and with its magnetic back this is the way to go. The included shower head is great but so far I am camping at state parks that have showers. I ordered the non shower head and it arrived very quickly. I would say that the shipping on the shower head was massive and the shipping cost almost made me pause but I am happy with the part.
The toilet is game changing. Separating no 1 and no 2 is the right idea. I use the Gotta go as a night time potty, that 3amno 1 visit, indoors is just like being at home. I have used the Gotta go on Fri-Sun camping trips, without it reaching the full mark.
I did extensive research and even went on the Hottie wait list and I am very satisfied. Customer Service Response times for general questions have been great. I love this product.

Joolca is doing things RIGHT!

Joolca is doing things RIGHT! I am 57 years old and have been camping since I was a small child. Our crew has bought three of the Joolca Nomad kits amongst our various families. The quality is superb. With that being said, if there is a problem, their customer support is second to none, and I sincerely mean that. I have been around the planet a few times and it is easy to see when customer service is beyond reproach. Keep up the great work, and I would recommend Joolca 10 out of 10 times!

Joolca makes great gear for anyone who loves the outdoors. I’ve used a few of their portable shower products over the years and they work brilliantly. What really stands out is their customer service—whenever I’ve had an issue, the tech team has gone above and beyond to help me fix it. They really care about their customers.

Joolca Ensuite Triple Is A Winner!

After purchasing the Joolca ensuite triple I am hear to tell you i am very impressed with this item. This item enchanced my camping experience by providing spacious room for the rest room area, shower area and a spacious dry area to change and store our clothing. Yet this large area set up and broke down in minutes and has a relatively small storage footprint. Unknown to me it was below freezing in the mornings and with a little sun shine the tent area warmed nicely.
As for Joolca, i had a small issue with the tent once received and set up i noticed. I reached out to Joolca who responded immediately and resloved the issue.
Overall I highly recommend this item. Products that enchance your camping experience and are easy to use are a clear winner!

The customer service is great. I sent them an email for a part of my Nomad joolca sink that was broken from accidentally leaving under pressure for multiple hours and they got back to me and replaced it free of charge.

Customer service has always been quick

Customer service has always been quick and answering me back if I had an issue and they've always remedied it.
I bought a joocla hottap that I use for my off-grid living. It's the easiest cleanest setup I've ever used. Hot water within seconds and stays a consistent temperature. I love my joolca!

Ordering from this company has been an absolute nightmare. Expensive premium ive missed a trip due to this terrible experience.
Buy anywhere else. Hell at this point. By from Amazon. At least the items show up on time. And usually cheaper
(For better or worse)

I’ve tried to track down your order so I can see exactly what happened, but I’m not able to locate your email thread based on this review alone. What I can share is that we normally ship all in-stock orders within 24 hours, and once they leave our warehouse, delivery times are in the courier’s hands.
If an order is not in stock or is a preorder, we have that listed on our website with an estimated shipping date.
That said, none of that really helps when your plans are impacted, and I genuinely want to make this right.

Amazing Service

Firstly, Joolca makes great products. But with all products of this nature, there are occasional issues. The thing I love about Joolca is their customer service and willingness to help you out when something does happen. They have been so fast to replace anything that malfunctioned and keep in good relationships with their customers.

Joolca all the way!

As the years go on, I'm owning more Joolca products. The Hottap v2 makes multi-day camping more bearable. The GottaGo makes night trips to the bathroom a breeze, especially for older person with bad knees. Now with the GottaGo bag, carryying the GottaGo is so much easier. The Ensuite Double gives us space for showering and toilet privacy. Let's see what else Joolca come up with in the future.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. I ordered accidentally with the wrong card and immediately tried to find a phone number to cancel. There is no phone number available so I filled out a form. Hours later someone contacted me saying it was too late. I was able to order with a click of a button but it was impossible to cancel.

The next day, I got a tracking number that said “cancelled” but funds were still processing ($700 from my checking account). 2 days later, they actually went ahead and processed these funds, so I am out $700 and don’t even have the item I intended to order. So now I have to file a dispute with my bank after no help and no one to speak on the phone with.

What a mess right before Christmas. The worst part is I was thinking about reordering using my other card but after this, no way.

Also, with some research, I was able find a very similar product for half the price from another reputable company.

I’m really sorry this turned into such a stressful experience, especially right before Christmas. I can understand how frustrating it is to make a simple mistake on an order and then feel like cancelling it should’ve been easier. I’d like to walk you through what happened on our end and hopefully clear things up a bit.

You reached out right after placing the order, and our team replied within a couple of hours. But by the time we saw your message, the warehouse had already picked it up for processing. They move quickly to get orders out the door, which is normally a huge win for customers, but in this case, it meant the cancellation reached them too late.

The “cancelled” tracking link you saw wasn’t a shipment, just an automated update that appears when the warehouse starts reversing an order. Once they confirmed the cancellation on their side, we processed the refund straight away. Any delay after that was the standard time banks take to return funds.

On phone support, while we don’t have an inbound number to call directly, we do schedule calls whenever a situation needs faster back-and-forth. I’m sorry that wasn’t offered to you at the time, and I'll follow this up with the team so that we can improve our support.

I know the timing made this feel much harder than it needed to be, and I’m really sorry for the frustration it caused. Just know that we weren't ignoring your request; we actioned it as soon as possible and had to wait for our warehouse to confirm it had been cancelled & returned to stock before processing your refund, which is standard procedure for us.

Top notch company. I sent an email. I never have to wait longer than 24 hours to get a reply. They're always kind and steer me in the right direction. I have a few other products and absolutely love them. Top-notch products top-notch craftsmanship just good all around product and company. Customer service is above 5 star

Great Customer Service from Joolca!


My wife and I have been a fan of Joolca camping gear for a while now, and own most of their products. Recently, I encountered an issue with the Hottap water heater, which started leaking about a year and a half after purchase.

Initially, I was concerned about the warranty process, especially since we were in Buckeye during below-freezing temperatures when the leak occurred. I reached out to Joolca’s customer service via email, and while the first few exchanges were a bit challenging, I was impressed with their persistence and willingness to help.

At first, they informed me that we should have drained the water and unplugged the hose to prevent such issues. However, after explaining the situation further, they ultimately decided to honor the warranty and replaced the unit.

I appreciate how they handled my concern and the effort they put into resolving the issue. It's rare to find customer service that goes above and beyond like Joolca’s. I’m looking forward to continuing to use their products on our camping adventures!

We absolutely love our Joolca

We absolutely love our Joolca! The customer service is superior. We had a little issue with our faucet and they did not hesitate to send us a new one. Then a year or so later our pump began to run loud and not pump water. Joolca once again stood by their excellent customer service! I highly recommend the joolca!
