Arranged a viewing of a property in Sawbridgeworth on the Saturday, without hassle, and really liked it.
On the Monday we received a phone call from the office, as promised, but we were unavailable and so a message was left. We tried returning the call but coudln't understand who called and the person who answered didn't know and could only take a message.
We then chased several times by email and phone, receiving some quite abrupt email responses, until a week later finally got to speak to someone! We exchanged a few more emails and arranged a 2nd viewing a few days later.
When we arrived at the suggested date and time, no one was there. We called the office, and were told the agent had just left; then that we wern't in the diary; then that they hadn't confirmed the appt and eventually implying it was our fault because we sent an email after office hours!
At that point we'd had enough and hung up!
As another review states they are excellent at excuses, not so good on admin or doing right by their customers.
We left a note for the home owner letting them know how their house was being handled......

Intercounty have been nothing but fantastic throughout my entire rental process.
Jac has been outstanding, and is a credit to the company! She was polite and friendly, and nothing was ever too much hassle for her. She was extremely quick to reply to emails, and made any amendments without fuss. She was just wonderful to liaise with and I didn't feel any pressure or 'like a nuisance' emailing her all the time, like some people would make you feel.
She has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and always had the answers to my questions, which was extremely reassuring.
The whole rental process was quick to sort out, and relatively painless. All documents were done online (including identity checks and proof of earnings) which made my life so much easier, and DocuSign was even mobile friendly, meaning it could be done quickly and easily, which was a bonus! Everything was sent via email so I could safely file anything away, and amendments were also updated and re-signed where needed, literally in the space of an hour, Jac was so 'on it'!
I cannot recommend them enough, especially compared to the other estate agents in Saffron Walden, intercounty definitely come out on top!!
