My project was a plaque honoring the namesake of a new Coast Guard ship. The plaque will be mounted in a place of honor where the crew eats their meals. The plaque will remain where mounted for the life of the ship which will likely exceed 40 years. It was very important to the 11 people presenting the plaque to the ship during commissioning events 27 August 2023. The plaque is 40" x 24" with a raised bust of the person being honored and weighs 100 pounds. It was expensive and, in a word, had to be perfect. Chad shepherded me through the entire process and the plaque exceeded all my expectations. Can't wait to make the presentation to the ship's crew!

I had questions as to how to place a custom order, the representative on the phone guided me through the online ordering. The design to be approved was sent quickly. I was kept informed about status of the order. I had informed the phone representative that this was to be a Christmas gift. As I was late ordering, I didn’t expect it would arrive by Christmas. I was surprised and pleased that it arrived two weeks before the promised delivery date, in time for Christmas.

The prices were good. The customer service and online information was accurate and helpful. When our letters arrived they were just as promised and were simple to install. We bought the cast aluminum letters for a marquee.

The plaque looked beautiful and the team at Impact Signs was really helpful in instructing me on the proper way to set up my art file. The only complaint I have is that I ordered the sign in July and received it after Thanksgiving. There was very little communication providing explanation or updates on my order. For the amount of money I spent, I would have like to have been updated more frequently.

After a little confusion about size in the beginning, the plaque turned out great. Shannon was efficient and turned around the proof quickly and handled a tricky size to word ratio well.
